Brulle

Tried this place out for a birthday dinner while at the cabins. Driving up in the evening is a beautiful view as the restaurant sign is lit coming over the bridge. The inside has a bar and is a bit on the smaller side, but still nice. The staff was great! Everyone was welcoming and the bartender especially was a vibe. The Brussels were good, the cauliflower was larger than I expected but had a nice fry. I had the salmon which came out cold and could have used some salt. I also had the cobbler but it has a spicy taste I couldn't quite catch. Mainly everyone said the food needed salt and wasn't hot. One of us had chicken which was a small portion and dry. I'd return for the drinks!

We came here for Sunday brunch based on the reviews on Yelp, this restaurant did not disappoint. The food - was great! I had the omelette- fluffy eggs, andouille sausage, goat cheese, tomatoes. My partner had the burger and said,"Good quality meet. More juice than grease." Service was great. Quick to refill our drinks. Friendly and positive energy from all the staff. Charming, clean, nicely decorated. Big windows for natural light to come in. All around lovely place.

The Gobbler!

First visit, stopped here on a Saturday for lunch. We ordered the Coca-Cola Pig and the Gobbler sandwiches. Both were great. The Coca-Cola BBQ sauce was sweet with a lot of flavor although the pork itself was a bit dry. The gobbler was packed with meat and the avocado and granny smith apples worked very well with sandwich. We sat on the back porch deck, which was a nice relaxing area. Service was excellent!

Cowboy Up from Sunday brunch menu

Updated menu! Cowboy Up was excellent--country fried steak, eggs, potatoes and grilled vegetables. Salad with sun-dried tomatoes is very good. Very good pricing for such high quality food in a very nice setting, good service.

With a single four…read moretop table inside and several picnic tables outside, the predominant business seems to be carry out. I've been here before for breakfast. They have excellent chicken biscuits. This was the first time I ventured for lunch. I opted for their signature Rodeo burger. wow is it hot! I mean spicy and temperature. They have a signature sauce that is best described as a spicy barbecue. It was absolutely delicious and big. I could only finish half. Topped with lettuce, tomato, pickled jalapeños, cheese, an onion ring, and their signature Rodeo sauce, I questioned how I would fit it all in. My daughter idly sat by- grinning- while she watched my eyes tear up and face turn red. Nice. The house made cut fries were delicious and inexpensive for ($3). I believe they're $5 if you order them on DoorDash. They were super hot and a generous portion. They have bottled beverages for sale as well as tea and coffee. The service is always consistent and great. I really like that they have a wall for people who can't afford food. You can pre-purchase a meal and put the ticket on the board for someone else. We really enjoy this place and will definitely be back!

The fries were fresh, the BLT had a perfect amount of bacon. My husband had the burger, he loved smash burgers and anything spicy! It was a little messy, but what do you expect with a rodeo burger? lol Excited to try their breakfast and chicken wings next time. Oh! And a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy food! It was very clean and the customer service was spectacular. And coming from a former restaurant employee, I appreciate all the communication between the back of house, front of house and between the chefs. Yay Jasper for opening something unique and delicious! Also, big bang for your buck!

You order at the front and they bring your meal to the table, but then they clean up the tables after you! For the sides, we've had mac & cheese, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and I can recommend all of them! When we chose the bread with our side, we were told this was the cornbread that was slightly sweet however it's not it's the salty savory kind. Hope this can help when anyone's placing their order to set expectations.

Lots of outdoor seating and they also have a drive through window. Just follow their entrance signs then the enter here sign but somehow missed the order here sign once inside. Thanks to the cashier for waving at us we then got back on track. Cashier was wonderful super nice and friendly. We ordered a couple of the 4 meat platter ($24) with choices of brisket, pulled pork, bbq ribs, turkey and pork sausage. For the sides mashed potatoes, geen beans, mac and cheese and potato salad. All the sides were really good but the meats not so much. The pulled pork was flavorless, brisket was on the dry side, ribs fell of the bone but were also flavorless and could not taste the smoke flavor. Turkey and pork sausage were the best. You get your choices of sauces . I stuck with original sweet bbq. My biggest disappointment was the corn bread. It was actually more of a corn meal muffin. No corn flavor and it was dry. You get two with your platter. I regret not ordering the Texas toast. Overall the place was clean, spacious with plenty of parking, great staff, signs everywhere but not the best bbq food I ever had.

Got home and the tenders were TINY (first photo). Considering two 4-piece tender meals were $26, we were dissatisfied enough to send an email about it. They were nice enough to give us a $20 voucher that we honestly didn't expect to ever use because we don't live in the area anymore. Nevertheless, we decided to give Buffalo Luke's one more chance since we had the voucher and had to grab a quick meal on our way through the area once more. Ordered online for drive-thru pickup and were once again disappointed We found that they're now charging an extra $1 to have your tenders tossed in a sauce versus on the side? Seems ridiculous but we used to really enjoy their sauce so we paid for one meal to have it tossed and the other meal had it on the side. We got our order and made it to our destination without checking it (mistake on our end again). Opened the meals and neither meal had been tossed and the sauce that was supposed to be on the side was also missing. On top of that, without fail, the tenders were disappointingly small and dry (maybe the sauce that was left out is supposed to help with the dryness?). We'll never be going back here. I've had gas station frozen tenders that were miles better than the last two meals we've had here.
