We were on our way back from a concert going on at the Caseville amphitheater and so it was later at night and this wooded island was open. There were only about two other customers in the restaurant, so I think they closed after we left. The food was delicious. I got the fish taco dinner and the waiter let me know that the normal order comes with two fish tacos but they are huge and he wanted to know if I wanted two or just one, so I ended up just getting one and if you look at my photo, you will see how huge that was. I was definitely glad he gave me the heads up on that. The fish taco was delicious and my friend enjoyed his meal also - he got the fish and chips dinner and they let him swap out a baked potato instead of the french fries and he really enjoyed his meal although he did not like the coleslaw that came with it but he is very picky about his coleslaw. read more

The servers/bartenders are spread super thin and are never around, the prices are horrible, the food orders get messed up and no one seems to care. Went to Wooded Island last night. They were busy but we waited close to 90 min for our food. Waiter was great but the kitchen is a mess. Wife ordered perch and it was ok. I ordered a chef salad and it was awful. Asst manager refunded 1/2 of the price of the salad and was sympathetic to the issues. Would not recommend going there until the kitchen is sorted out. read more

Service was very slow I ordered surf and turf. Waited about 45 minutes and finally got my side salad then about 15 min later got my steak and baked potato no grilled shrimp. I kept reminding the waitress finally about 45 minutes later got the shrimp. We went in for a few drinks, stayed for one. Service was good. Like a bar on the space station, no atmosphere.

Parker and Shane were attentive, friendly bartenders! Both were delightful throughout our visit to watch the Lions win!

The place was half full, and we were told they were behind, and that it might be an hour wait for the food. Figured it was good to know, we placed our orders quickly, apps, drinks and dinners. Kids went outside to play the games, the adults chatted inside. The waitress came back to verify a few orders a couple times throughout the night. We saw food coming out of the kitchen on a somewhat steady pace, but after 90 minutes we asked if the order for the apps had been placed, and that it was good to bring them out before the dinners if possible. 15 minutes later we got the apps, and they were ok, from a taste standpoint, but the Gouda bites were $10 and we only got 4 small bites, disappointing for sure. The waitress was very kind and nice when she dropped off the check and said there was no rush to pay, however as we had been there over 2 hours since we placed our orders, and had not gotten our dinners, it was really weird to get the bill. 5e waitress was unaware that we did not get our food, she went back to check and found out that only 1 in 7 meals had been started, the steak, we had a few that required no cooking, a cold sandwich for instance. As it was after closing, and we asked if it was even possible that we would get the food and was.met with a blank face and non-answer, we paid for the drinks and apps, then left. I was told that shortly after the owner shut down for some reason, we won't be back, nice people, nice place, one of the worst experiences in dining for me. read more

This place is an absolute blast. The drinks are amazing. The food is DELISH! Hey, Parmesan dough balls, you're delicious. A huge shoutout to the staff for always taking good care of us. The cornhole and hillbilly golf and foosball are also fun to play. This place has ALWAYS been clean. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Stopped in and were seated immediately. Observed the food being served to other tables and it looked great. We ordered the party nachos, minus peppers , jalapeño's but with onion on the side with chicken. Price is $30 so expected a generous serving. Showed up with the peppers and onions on it, could not see any chicken or cheese and chips only covering the surface of the tray. ( looked like a pizza). Sent it back. Second one came out still with the peppers, but onion on the side, could see the chicken (not a lot for the up charge) but it appeared to be missing cheese (was there but was not baked/melted). Both times we had to track down the waitress to return the item served, no follow up on beverage refills or additional orders taken for adult beverages. Complete waste of an hour but they were considerate enough to not charge us for what they call nachos! read more

Went in, got seated in a reasonable amount of time. We were told food was taking 1 1/2 hours to come, that wasn't ideal but the waitress was honest. We got our drinks right away but then sat there for an hour and the waitress never checked on us and our drinks were empty, my husband had to finally flag her down. The food actually took 2 hours and came out cold. We again had to ask the waitress for our bill this time and she brought it and stood there until we paid, which was just odd since she really didn't tend to our table. Meh. My "fried pickles" were hot pickles with batter on the side. An extremely thin layer of batter and the pickles looked sad and soggy in the basket. Pretzel breadsticks were phenomenal but the main course was only okay. Fish tacos were huge and oddly sweet. The tacos were mostly lettuce and slaw, with a fish thrown on top. The fish itself was tasty, just a weird ass taco. Our waitress acted like it was a chore to wait on us and had about as much enthusiasm as a brick wall. Service was disappointing, no one ever checked on us after the food was dropped off and I finally had to track our server down to get the bill. The burgers were meh, pretty sure they had been prepared for a while, way more bun than burger, and apparently they only come well done- we weren't asked. So I've only been here once and it was a good experience. The waitresses were all joking with us (which I personally like because it makes it feel more personable) I got a mushroom and swiss burger and it was soooo freaking good. And it wasn't over priced at all. We had 11 people with us and they took care of us so well. And they made sure we always had our waters full. (I drink a lot of h20 so I liked not having to wait) Will for sure be coming back soon read more

I had nachos for dinner: Ingredients: Stale nacho chips from the bag Ground beef no seasoning Jalapeños from the jar Pepperchini's from the jar Lettuce Cheese Diced onion Diced bell pepper Seriously, I could have had a better meal at my local little league snack bar at home. I saw what other people had at my dinner table as well...Pizza looked like a frozen Dejourno pizza from the frozen food section from Kroger. Seriously? This a nice looking sports bar with very nice staff. My husband had the chicken mac n cheese and it was excellent. Myself and my friend had chicken nachos. The chicken was barely warm, there was a tiny bit of shredded cheese, that was not even melted. For 11.99, the nachos should have been excellent too. We are at woodland for dinner tonight and the evening was disappointing at best. We started with and appetizer of breaded mushrooms. They were deliciously prepared. Fresh and hand breaded. Definitely not what you usually see from the freezer. Unfortunately that's where the extraordinary ended. I ordered the Philly cheese special which arrived on Texas toast rather than the baguette as listed on the special board. The onions and peppers had barely been grilled prior to having been thrown on the sandwich and the flavors didn't really meld together as a Philly cheese should. Service was also disappointing. While our server was definitely friendly, prompt was definitely not a quality of the evening. It took an exceptionally long time for our order to come from the kitchen in the first place and we found ourselves constantly waiting for our waiters arrival. We'll likely give it another shot sometime again in the future, but it was definitely a disappointing visit to say the least. read more

Wings are advertised as Super Jumbo wings and they're about the same size as BWW and more expensive than BWW...which is ridiculously expensive to begin with. Multiple things were wrong with our order. Saw a runner drop a whole burger combo on the floor and leave it there until the hostess came to clean it up. Totally absentee service. Yeah. There wasn't much of a crowd really, but because it was a small town it seemed busier than usual. Although, being it was Memorial Day weekend, you'd think they would have been prepared. I took some friends here for lunch/dinner, I will not do this again. The fish tacos and the salmon were good. The ribeye steak and bacon and blue cheese hamburger were not. The steak was small and thin, and the hamburger, two patties and bun were smaller than Mickey D's. The hamburger was way over cooked with a few bacon crumbles with blue cheese dressing.
