I know most people only give bad reviews but I'm not sure what some of the fuss is about regarding this one. This Mom and Pop shop has been around for over 30 years and when you go, you'll understand why they've lasted so long - even with 'big names' near by. Customer service is unmatched and their attention to detail is appreciated. They checked my tires to make sure I was safe to drive before a road trip. I feel they had my best interest at heart and weren't just trying to upsell me like other shops have done in the past. When it's time, I will be back to get new tires from them! Recently had tire issue traveling and was towed here for replacement. I'm glad they were open (occurred on a Sunday and all other tire shops in area had closed early). Woodforest took care of my car right away and the price was excellent....highly recommend this company. I could tell that the local community must come here for service(s) as there was a lot of cars coming and going while I waited during my short visit and the owner knew and had conversation with everyone that stopped by. I was back on the road within 15 - 20 minutes and the tire costs less than what I would have paid at one of the larger tire shops. read more

Simply, the best! I had a flat while driving down Woodforest and could not pull over. The Tire Shop was in the right place at the right time. Tire was ruined by the time I pulled in and knew I would need a new one. I'm an old lady and was rattled and desperate by the time I pulled in. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation. Instead, I was treated with respect and taken care of honestly and quickly. I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes with 2 new tires that cost less then the big tire stores. I would recommend The Tire Shop on Woodforest to anyone and will be a repeat customer. read more

Had a tire lose pressure driving on I10. I called a bunch of shops that were either overpriced or didn't have my tire size in stock. I got a hold of Joe at Woodforest Tire Shop and he not only got my tires Hot Shot over from their warehouse but gave me a great price on the two new tires. They did a great job, and provided quality tires and professional service. At the time of the tire install, they informed me about needing new a lower control arm ball joint. I was already scheduled to take the truck to the dealership on Monday for an oil change, but instead of adding it to the list for the dealership, I entrusted the 610 team to do the job! Fast forward to Monday, oil change went well but the dealership informed me I needed a new ball joint?!?! You can imagine my surprise. I reached out to 610 but initially I told the dealership to proceed. Thankfully, they needed a specific wheel lock in order to remove the tires. That delay allowed me more time for processing all the details. I took an uber to 610 to retrieve the specific wheel lock. They gladly gave me several locks (they weren't quite sure which one was needed). That, to me, is another example of how they're willing to go over and beyond the call of duty. They even gifted me with a wheel lock once the correct lock was identified. The more I examined the imagines sent by the dealership, the more I noticed the pics only showed excessive lube around the joints. Thankfully, bringing the key to them, delayed the process of them conducting the work and allowed me the opportunity to witness for myself the tires being secure and having NO play/free movement. Needless to say, the dealerships assessment was incorrect. The mechanic was very apologetic in his error. New ball joint replacement was NOT needed. All an all, Im extremely pleased with 610's professionalism and attention to details. 610 will forever be my first stop for any of my tire needs. Support local businesses!
