    Beef Brisket Dinner

I got the brisket meal with baked beans & Mac & cheese. I wanted to support someone locally so I chose them. This was such a terrible decision the baked beans come in such a small container that's almost the same size as the container that the bbq sauce came in. You can tell they did nothing extra to it but drown it in bbq sauce. The Mac and cheese taste just like water not even cheese just plain water salt couldn't even help it. The brisket had no flavor whatsoever they just poured bbq sauce on it. I hate I spent $18 on this because I can't eat it. The muffin also lacks flavor as well.

Tried their new kabob special and it was great! I had one beef and one chicken and they were both so tender and flavorful. Loved the chunks of feta in the salad. I hope they keep this on the menu but I'm looking forward to trying their bbq as well.

Disgusting old briskett. No smoke flavor. Bad texture. Worst bbq

The pulled pork was average but the baked beans were straight from a can. Putting some effort into your sides would go a long way!

The atmosphere was so festive, someone spent a lot of time placing all those fun Christmas decorations. The cherry on top was a $8 ten ounce pour of my favorite beer Bourbon County. I was lucky enough to catch this Wednesdays pop up. They were serving ramen with homemade made broth and smoked pork. It was delightful. I actually ordered seconds on the pork fried rice and the egg rolls. I hope they add those egg rolls to the menu, I would indulge in them regularly. Then I played a little joker poker on the machines. What a fun evening.

It was great to sit outside and listened to the band. We were served drink quickly and we order food with drinks knowing it might be getting busy. But it really didn't till we left. We ordered wings, fries and rib tips. It took longer than usual and it really wasn't that busy when we ordered. We understand that a trainee was working. We waited long for a couple things we asked for. Like napkins and a box to go. One of ours orders took 25 mins to come out after the first order was given to us. And it wasn't correct. The food- it was good but for a smoked food restaurant, it wasn't very smoked. Side note- there was a Makers Market set up next door and it wasn't that greatest either. I guess the pro crafters were busy for the holiday. Memorial Day.

Had some great drinks and average food at this bar in Yorkville but it wasn't like the name…read moresuggests, at least in the afternoons. It may seem like a local hangout with lots of drinks and basic food. Rowdy's is one of a few bars in this part of town. For sure it's nothing fancy of course. They're known for big ass burgers, and fries covered in stuff. Bar has a couple entrances, only one of which we were able to enter. It's got the rear one, which takes you through the gaming area before the main part. The front entrance was for some reason locked, even though the bar was open at that time. Anyway, they have about what's expected. It's about $7 for a basic cocktail, like with whiskey. Food is a pretty meaty thing with the burgers. They have shit tons of these. It's about $10 for their fries, which come loaded with toppings in baskets. We got a basket of the Sriracha Fries, which are topped with garlic Parmesan which we left off, along with hoisin sauce, jalapeños, onions, red pepper, and sriracha. Filling. These were enough to make a meal to be honest. Got to say it was better than expected. It's located on Bridge Street, amongst the older buildings around here. Those wanting meaty things can get burgers, while those not can get fries or whatever.

We got three appetizers. Steak bites Ruben sliders and seafood ceviche. The steak bites were under seasoned. They were begging for some salt and pepper. The blue cheese on them was perfectly melted and they were done to perfection. They were supposed to have a red wine sauce. It tasted like brown gravy from a packet. Not the worst but no red wine flavor. The Reuben sliders that were most likely made with St Patrick's Day leftovers were delicious !!! The corned beef was thick and trimmed to perfection (no fatty bits). We would get these again. The seafood ceviche was described as being prepared with lime juice and pico de gallo and served with chips and crackers. It came with no crackers (not that big of a deal) but the seafood and pico were in some kind of tomato broth stuff. (Like a Clamato juice). I was not a fan but the husband thought it was fine. The food could have been better with some seasoning but everything was finished.

Large portions are given and food comes out fast. The side salad could be a little more creative maybe add cheese or carrots and radishes? Also hard to hear your dining partner if busy.
