I went one time to this restaurant, having never gone before, I placed an order ahead for 10 bone-in wings. I got to the restaurant, received my food, and when I got home I saw the wings I was given were burnt and dry. Went for the first time with my wife she got a loaded mac and cheese which was good. I got boneless wing which were dry or others which were only the fried breading. Got sweet chili sauce, which unfortunately not sweet not chili. The add on disappointment my own fault for not asking questions. I was asked if I wanted blue cheese-I said yes.. Add on $1 for milk consistency bleu cheese. GROSS I wanted to try the buffalo sauce also add on $1. The positive of my meal was getting the Blackberry lemonade. A bit pricey but excellent taste. We usually go to the Plainfield location and had great expectations for this location but was wrong. Tables and floor was sticky which usually means cleaning solution needs to be changed out. We ordered the potato bombs and they were lukewarm. We also ordered the pretzel and it was slightly overcooked. We ordered a burger and it was good, the craftd Mac and cheese was watery, Brussels sprouts was swimming in sweet chili sauce and lukewarm, fries on all entrees were soggy with grease, and we found a hair in the kids Mac and cheese. My first time here went with family and got the chicken & waffles for lunch with elote corn side dish and cheese curds which were melt in your mouth delicious and our waitress Nicole was very hospitable and friendly. We shared travel stories! My first time experience dining here went well that I got takeout the second time and the third outing was date night and I had the Pineapple Express drink, apps: beef rolls, potato bombs , elote and for dinner the vodka pasta. We were seated within 5 minutes and loved the warm, inviting atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and helpful with menu questions. The food took a long time, but our server apologized and kept us updated. Totally worth the wait--those nachos were incredible! The butter noodles were a generous portion, and the chicken sandwich was amazing. The turkey burger was well-cooked, but the raspberry mustard jam wasn't my thing. My husband specifically request "no cheese" on his sandwich - needed to send his sandwich back. The order took an additional 15 minutes... I had my food so I had to eat in front of him. Also, my husband and hadn't been to Craft'd in well over a year due loud unsupervised children. We decided to give Craft'd another chance...only if we could eat there in the bar area away from children. Thankfully, we were there early and were able to seated in the bar area. I'm visiting from out of town and have been here three times. The Chicago beef on the appetizers is a must! I had the prime dip - was good, a bit salty but good. Drinks are good too Tonight was my third time and came in around 7pm. Ordered the BLT - the bacon is delish, but came out cold - not what I was expecting on a sandwich. I understand they are pre clocked, but we could have warmed them up before they served them. The fries came out cold and very greasy. Looks like they were old fries that they attempted to reheat. Was irritated with the two dollars up charge for fries and a dollar for a side of mayo. One of my favorite places to go out. I am glad this location opened up near my house. The building is very easy to find especially since it is right in front of Menards, and has a lot of restaurants nearby. I am glad to see this location getting much more popular and busy. The parking lot is decent sized. It can be hard to find parking especially if you are here during prime hours. One small negative is the gravel parking near the main road which can be confusing if people don't park properly. Hopefully they will fix this in the future. However, it just proves to you how good and popular this place is! There is parking in the front and back, and it still isn't enough. Ive had my share of dishes at this place and all of them have been amazing. Smoked Chicken Nachos are delicious. Plenty of food for a group of people or can be more than a meal for one person. Queso has a little kick. Pig Candy. You can not go wrong with sugar and crispy bacon. Always a top pick when I come. One thing I love about moving to Montgomery is I can always find a Brat burger and I always get a brat burger when I see it. And this location does not disappoint Overall, I have been a fan of this location and I do come back very frequently. The service is friendly, and sometimes it can be busy so service in that respect does suffer. However, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere makes up for the wait times. We recently had occasion to frequent the Yorkville area. Discovered Craft'd and decided to give it a try. My first impression was that we're at a typical sports bar. We ordered the New York Strip, and Breakfast Bomb Burger. Also ordered side dishes of grilled asparagus and Brussel sprouts Everything was really tasty. The only food I haven't enjoyed as their tacos (a newer item). The service is always good, fast and consistent. When I found out that Craft'd was opening up a second location and it was out by me I literally jumped for joy. Their location in Plainfield is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The Yorkville location did not disappoint. My friends and I went for an early lunch. We wanted a boozy early lunch so we met up right when they opened. We weren't the only ones looking for an 11 am boozy lunch on a Monday. There were two other parties already there. Decor was nice. The menu is the same as Plainfields. Everything that I have tried has been fantastic. I've tried the Cuban sandwich, the Bourbon chicken, the Breakfast bomb and I've also had their salads. This visit I had the Bourbon chicken. It's my favorite dish. I get with the greens and asparagus. Yum!! Everything is always on point. A big bonus is that they have a great cocktail list. When this building was built, a number of years ago, the first resto to inhabit it was a particular fave of ours, until it wasn't. It's prolly been 15 years since we've stepped foot in here, but Daughter and her family like this new tenant, so it was good to revisit and see what the new folks are up to. I swung with the Chicken and Waffles (it was brunch time after all). I'm not a big fan of boneless/skinless chix breast, but the menu gave me confidence this might be a good choice. It was. The honey-butter chicken (two portions) was moist and tasty, as was the waffle. They hyped their "mulberry-maple syrup", and rightly so. A "side salad" was included, on the side (go figure). I took a little umbrage with the choice of tableware for the salad, the bowls were tiny, with slanted sides-the "salad" was about the same portion as you'd get for a garnish with your burger. That gaffe didn't put me off my feed, however. I wasn't that interested in a salad anyway with my choice of chicken/waffles. I also had a hard time trying to get a spoon from the waitress. Since when are spoons an endangered species? Everyone else in the family reported their choices were tasty, so I'll throw 4 all day. I'm happy that Craft'd took over the building that was there. No need to rebuild when there is a wonderful building that already exists. The interior design is a little whacky. The "fade" hexagon tile work that bleeds into another tile doesn't match. It screams, "trying too hard." The turquoise bench seats don't align with the restaurant aesthetic. Just a very confusing space. There is so much going on and not in an eccentric, unique way. I ate lunch at this location during lunch hours. There is something off about this location versus the Plainfield location. Maybe because it's newer? The Plainfield location is energetic, more populated. This one felt desolate, quiet, uncomfortable. There were multiple tables seated too. We weren't alone. There was only 1 server doing everything, including running the food. This created a slower dining experience. She was doing an incredible job, but it didn't seem right there was 1 person to share about 8-10 tables during a lunch hour. The food is the same as the other location, so no issues there. It's great. If I had a choice, I'd stick with the Plainfield location. read more

I have been super eager to try this new spot out! They have been packed at night so we tried for lunch and managed to get in! Ambiance: 10/10! Cool atmosphere and plenty of TVs everywhere for game nights! Staff: 10/10 Everyone was very accommodating and nice! Portions/cost factor: 9/10 Solid portions, I have given into the fact going out to eat is not going to be cheap ever again soooo... for the price, the portions were a good size! Selection : This is where they really shine! This menu is rich and complex and has so many different offerings and very little standard fair. The starters, salads, sandwiches, and other foods all look amazing and i look forward to coming back to try them all! The burger selection was the only more normal offerings with a few exceptions. Drinks: 10/10... I had a diet, but man do they have a ton of other choices on the menu with or without Alcohol! Lots and lots of drink creations! Food: (side note here, i am not rating the food we had quite as high as the overall restaurant, it was good, but i feel like it could have been a bit better, they are still just getting started and are easily in the top 3 Restaurants in the area so don't eead into this part too much) Nachos: 8/10- this plate is huge! I MEAN HUGE! They were tasty and spicy and a good value. That said, we did run out of toppings about halfway through the chips so i would say less chips or more toppings. Either way you will be happy! They crack my top 5 for Nachos and if you have read my other reviews you would know I am a connoisseur of the magic that are Nachos! Veg items tend to be super juicy and flavorful but this was pretty dry basic. We added some vinaigrette to it and part of the salad, as well as some salt and it went up-to 7/10. Uncommon Burger... wife-8/10 ...Grandma 6/10... me 7/10. The coffee taste is different but i guess it was the dryness for me once again. I don't recall anyone asking about doneness but both patties were cooked well done and that again made for a dry burger. The toppings were good but i think i would trade out the 2 patties for 1 and cook it less. Overall it was good, but could use some tweaks. Sweet Potato fries: Tasty Regular Fries: fresh cut... Tasty Kettle Chips: Tasty I will come back here a few more times to try some other things, especially on the app menu, based on the portions i am pretty sure they could be a main entry any time! I ordered the "No Brainer" Family Dinner takeout special online for $50 and I added a generous tip on top of that, anticipating a great experience. Instead all we got was a tardy, cold overcooked, sloppily packaged takeout order, and completely ignored at the restaurant. - see photos My order was placed a couple of hours prior to the arranged pickup time, but it was not ready on time when I got there. I arrived at the restaurant promptly and was told it would "be a few minutes more" - no apology was given. I saw a friend I knew eating at the bar, so I told the girl at the front counter to let me know when my order was ready - I'd be waiting at the bar. After more than 20 minutes, I got tired of waiting and being ignored. So I went to the front again to cancel the takeout order and get a refund. No workers were around, but I found my three bags of food just sitting on the counter! The restaurant section was busy with customers and what looked like young teenagers running around trying to keep up, but I could not get anyone's attention at the front, so I grabbed my food and left... The food had already gotten cold while left sitting on the counter. Again, no one let me know it was ready, and it was not prepared on time for the arranged pickup. The Mac & Cheese was packed so poorly it had leaked all over inside the bag and created a huge and unappetizing mess - the greasy cheese sauce seeped all the way through to the outside of the bag and the whole box almost fell through the bottom. The burgers were ice cold, clearly over cooked to begin with, and tasted bland and tough when reheated. The box of fries also leaked out from the Styrofoam container and created another greasy cesspool inside the other paper bag, and the outside of the bag was fully saturated as well. After waiting endlessly at the restaurant for my takeout - which I "found" myself at the front counter, by the time I got the messy food packaging all cleaned up, my family and I all lost our appetites. The food did not reheat well - the burgers were tough like cardboard since already over cooked when we got them, the fries became even more soggy when reheated, and the Mac & cheese substance was thin and runny as if from a box mix. We barely detected any real chicken meat in the heavily battered and fried Tenders. The amount of salad greens provided as a small side with this "Family" dinner was too meager and not nearly enough for even two persons to share as a side Every aspect of this new restaurant was a big disappointment for me and my family. Our takeout experience was awful. Our order was not ready on time and no one let me know when it was done, they just left my food out sitting on the front counter getting cold. The food packing created an unsightly sloppy mess. Using unsealed Styrofoam containers for food that is so gooey and greasy does not make sense and is insulting to the customer who's forced to deal with the unappetizing cleanup at home, before eating. Our craftd experience was a big sloppy insulting disappointment, and I would NOT recommend this restaurant for either takeout or dine-in. The food quality is poor. The servers and staff are irresponsible and inexperienced teenagers. Proper packaging that doesn't leak should be a no brainer for any restaurant, as should maintaining food service quality standards and controls and a mature, well trained, and responsible staff... We were very excited to try this new restaurant and obviously extremely disappointed with this first experience. I even added a hefty tip onto this, my first takeout order, hoping to establish good rapport with them early on since we order takeout food so frequently... The only NO BRAINER now is we will not be wasting our time and money on this place again, and recommend you do the same. read more

Sunday, June 15, 2025: We were seated very fast today as it was early - about 5 pm. We ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and fries, the Bourbon Chicken and the NY Strip dinners and the Pig Candy appetizer. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. The food did not live up to my expectations. The Bacon cheeseburger and fries were excellent but the Bourbon chicken breasts were dry and thin with the bourbon sauce not very flavorful. The green beans were tough and chewy on both plates. The steak was medium rare when I ordered medium and not as tender as I would have liked. They did take it back to cook the steak more. It came back at the proper medium, but they did not replace the bloody mashed potatoes. I could not eat the potatoes with the blood in them from the steak being medium rare. I thought the Pig Candy was good although maybe a little too heavy handed with the pepper. I would suggest more kitchen help if possible since it was over an hour before we got our food. We probably will not stop again. I think the restaurant could be great with some improvements. read more

We visited Craft'd in Yorkville this past weekend, upon recommendations that it was good, so we were excited to try out what seemed to be a promising meal. Unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed. It started on a positive note with appetizers that were well-presented and enjoyable. We ordered the cheese curds and apricot habanero wings, along with two drinks - The Man and an Old Fashioned. We requested the syrup to be removed from the drinks due to our preference for less sugar, which the staff accommodated (sugar seems to be in everything on this menu, "Pig Candy Bacon"). The appetizers were good, and we were excited for our main entrees. I was interested in a burger and our waitress recommended the burgers as a standout item, so I went with the Steakhouse Burger and added jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. The burger was presented well, however, when I took a bite, I was horribly disappointed, I felt like I was eating a glorified adult McDonald's Happy Meal. The burger patties lacked any flavor, were dry and of low quality, and did not taste like meat. The total bill came out to $140. For the price, I expected a much better gourmet experience; instead, we left feeling like our wallets had been violated. For that amount, we could have gone to Rowdy's and enjoyed a real, juicy burger with real beef at half the cost or gone to Fireside Grill in Sugar Grove and gotten a hearty meal with leftovers to take home. As far as atmosphere, we sat at the bar, the TV screens were so bright that it felt like our retinas were being burnt, and there was a loud group behind us of 10-15, that kept slamming the tables and being obnoxious, which may be is part of the allure, the staff did not do anything to quiet the group down. In the end, my partner and I agreed: this was a "one and done" place. My recommendation to others, avoid. There are nicer, cheaper, and tastier alternative accommodations around town and the area. read more

This is a fun lively joint that is wildly popular. Expect to wait for a table on a Saturday night. I loved the Pineapple Express drink. It was very sweet but still had dimension.
