I've been to the other locations but this is my first time at the Bolingbrook location. This one is the closest to me. They have shared parking so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. They have a good amount of seating available. You can either order from the kiosk or from the employee. I did a combo this time with 8 wings, fries, and a drink. I always choose bone-in. I got Ying's orange sauce and Asian Cajun. Asian Cajun is pretty good. The orange sauce is decent. My favorites would have to be Asian Cajun, salted egg, soy garlic, lemon pepper, honey thai chili, and buldak & gochujang. My girlfriend had the snow cheese and I thought it was okay. We were excited for an asian fusion wing restaurant to open near our home and even more excited after looking at the menu. This venue has unique asian inspired flavors and we ended up trying the buldak gochujang, sisig, and salted egg wings with buldak ranch fries. The wings were a good size, very crispy, and bursting with flavor. My favorite was the buldak gochujang, it wasn't too spicy and the gochujang flavors were coming through. My wife enjoyed the Filipino sisig flavor and the salted egg was the most unique, but still delicious. A random weekday we decided to try for dinner. I do like how you can choose the sauce that goes on top of the corn cobs and fries. We did the Buldak sauce on the corn cobs, which was really good. Has some spice but not the extreme spice as the actual ramen. Snow cheese on the fries and was pretty good. We did do the boneless and it wasn't like ground chicken breast, but big pieces of the white breast meat. Also, did boneless as it was cheaper than the bone-in. Was crunchy and was a bit dry, which the sauce helped. Really liked the Asian Cajun that is more of a dry rub. Soy garlic isn't too bad and is sweet. Mango Sriracha has a good heat and I couldn't taste the mango. Carolina Gold I actually didn't really care for, as it made me just want either honey mustard or just BBQ. But not as a combo of the two flavors. There is plenty of seating, but there is not a lot of space in between. So glad it wasn't packed bc we wouldn't have been able to get out. Fry N' Wings came highly recommended to us by a friend, and it was definitely worth the 30 minute drive to get there! We ordered through a third party website on a Wednesday evening, and there were multiple groups of people dining in when we came to pick up our food. Unfortunately, we did have to wait an extra 15 minutes, but we'd be glad to do it again for the quality and flavor of the chicken. We got the asian cajun wings, sisig wings, and salted egg chicken tenders. The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and had a nice flavor on their own. But, the star of the show is definitely the variety of sauces. The salted egg was our favorite and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The asian cajun was savory and had the perfect kick. The sisig flavor was interesting, definitely sisig adjacent but kind of missed the mark for us. We did not order fries, which you can get with any of their wing flavors, and we regretted it as soon as we saw other people trying them. I heard this place just opened recently and that it was Filipino owned, so I just had to give it a try! We tried their limited time sisig wings with the lemon pepper, salted egg, and honey thai chili. I'm a Filipino myself, so I absolutely LOVED the sisig wings; they were flavorful and juicy. The lemon pepper is always a safe pick for me, but it was very good. The salted egg was very good as well and such a unique wing flavor. The honey Thai chili was sweet and salty and gave it a good kick. We also got fries, but loved the flavor of the buldak + gochujang ones; however, I just felt like it was coated too much in it. The other fry flavors are great though! The service was amazing. The cashier was very friendly, and she gave us recommendations. She even checked in on us and brought the food to our table. I went when the first opened so it did take awhile but it was hot and fresh. The wings were good although I feel like they can use more sauce. The fries are good but honestly the flavor can be overwhelming if you get wings too. The corn was fire!!! The only thing I didn't like which they should REALLY work on is the ranch. The ranch was not good. And you have to pay extra for it. You don't even get 1 ranch with your 8 piece order which is crazy. Their signature honey Thai didn't have much flavor. They have around 16 different sauces for their wings, and you can even get those flavors on their Fries and Corn as well which is very unique. But let's start with the wings, Like I said this is a asian fusion wing spot, so I had to try the Buldak and Gochujang wings which is one of their most popular flavors and I can see why. This sauce gives you the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. We had to get the Original Hot Buffalo, which was my wife's favorite. I enjoyed this wing as well as you can never go wrong with a good buffalo wing. I heard also good things about the Lemon Pepper, and honestly these were the best lemon pepper wings I have had in awhile. Just listen to wifeys review But I'm a big Parmesan Garlic Wing Guy and this place didn't let me down. These wings were extra crispy with the perfect amount of garlic flavor with a light coating of parmesan on it as well, definitely one of my favorite flavors. And they also have Chicken Tenders, so if you like sweet and spicy definitely try their Honey Thai Chili sauce. This tender actually had a nice amount of that Honey Thai Sauce all over it as well. This wing was more on the sweeter side but still very solid. But If you don't feel like getting your hands messy, their Chicken Sandwich was so good. I tried their Asian Cajun flavor and this might have been one of my favorite flavors of the night. And I also tried their Asian Cajun Fries which were hands down a 10/10 for me. If you get them you will not regret it! We also tried The Buldak and Ranch Fries as it is one of their most popular fries, these were also bussin as the Buldak and Ranch flavors pair so well together. Lastly I had to see what their Homemade Snow Cheese mixture was all about and we decided to try their Snow Cheese Corn. The best way to describe this is Sweet and Cheesy, definitely give it a try. We got some boneless and some bone-in as well as fries and the corn. Man. If you want flavor, this is your spot. The Buldak & Gochuchang sauce is awesome. It has some kick for sure, but it's worth it (also...it isn't SUPER spicy to those who like spice). The soy garlic sauce was also great. They have Buldak Ranch fries. You should get them. But here's the thing...I really liked the Snow Cheese fries too. There is a sweetness there that I really liked but I could see thay not everyone would. And don't skip out on the corn! 5 STARS!!! This restaurant has the best quality of chicken I have had out of any wing place in the suburbs. It tastes clean and properly handled. They have a large variety of sauces to choose from. My favorite was the snow cheese, buffalo and the salted egg (not in the picture) the fries were also a huge star of the show! They came out crispy even with the cheese and sauce all over them. They don't skimp out on any sauces and everything is fresh so there will be a wait. The social media manager even greeted us and chatted us up while we waited. Wow, just wow. I love wings in a variety of ways. I make decent wings myself and have likely tried them at over a hundred different places in my lifetime. This place was shockingly delicious. Let's start with the elephant in the room... time. It took longer than I was expecting to receive my food, however there is a really good reason for that. The wings were prepared perfectly. I do mean perfectly. Juicy, but completely cooked and crispy. I seriously doubt these were frozen fried because the wings were cleaned very well. I've been to wing places serving every 4th wing still has a feather (yuck) or overly breaded or salted. Not this place! These wings have an incredible crispy texture but still hot and flavorful. I was considering 12 wings or more just so I could try different flavors but I settled on an 8 piece combo. Instead of fries I elected fried corn seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Very tasty. For the wings , I chose two flavors I wasn't experienced with: 1st salted egg. This was a very interesting flavor that had a powdery texture but a finish that wasn't overly salty but incredibly flavorful. The 2nd was Buldak & Gochujang and that was sweet and savory with a light touch of heat. These flowers really intensify the perfectly cooked chicken. The presentation was also well placed. I never thought I would give 5 stars to a chicken wing place but anything less would be unfair to the cook/chef and staff of this place. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. My only frustration is ... I'm visiting from Denver so I can't get this place without a flight or 900 mile drive. This will be my stop next time I'm back in Bolingbrook. I wish other wing places trained with this staff as this is how you do it right and this place was off the chain! Well done!!! read more
