We were excited for an asian fusion wing restaurant to open near our home and even more excited after looking at the menu. This venue has unique asian inspired flavors and we ended up trying the buldak gochujang, sisig, and salted egg wings with buldak ranch fries. The wings were a good size, very crispy, and bursting with flavor. My favorite was the buldak gochujang, it wasn't too spicy and the gochujang flavors were coming through. My wife enjoyed the Filipino sisig flavor and the salted egg was the most unique, but still delicious. The fries were also excellent, everything about this place was very positive and we'll be ordering again soon as one of our new favorite go-tos. Best, Charlie

Fry N' Wings came highly recommended to us by a friend, and it was definitely worth the 30 minute drive to get there! We ordered through a third party website on a Wednesday evening, and there were multiple groups of people dining in when we came to pick up our food. Unfortunately, we did have to wait an extra 15 minutes, but we'd be glad to do it again for the quality and flavor of the chicken. We got the asian cajun wings, sisig wings, and salted egg chicken tenders. The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and had a nice flavor on their own. But, the star of the show is definitely the variety of sauces. The salted egg was our favorite and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The asian cajun was savory and had the perfect kick. The sisig flavor was interesting, definitely sisig adjacent but kind of missed the mark for us. We did not order fries, which you can get with any of their wing flavors, and we regretted it as soon as we saw other people trying them. Overall, this is a very solid spot for wings, and we hope to be back to try other flavors!

I heard this place just opened recently and that it was Filipino owned, so I just had to give it a try! We tried their limited time sisig wings with the lemon pepper, salted egg, and honey thai chili. I'm a Filipino myself, so I absolutely LOVED the sisig wings; they were flavorful and juicy. The lemon pepper is always a safe pick for me, but it was very good. The salted egg was very good as well and such a unique wing flavor. The honey Thai chili was sweet and salty and gave it a good kick. We also got fries, but loved the flavor of the buldak + gochujang ones; however, I just felt like it was coated too much in it. The other fry flavors are great though! The service was amazing. The cashier was very friendly, and she gave us recommendations. She even checked in on us and brought the food to our table. The ambiance was very nice; my girlfriend liked the furniture and how the designs were for some of the furniture. There's also a parking lot.

A random weekday we decided to try for dinner. I do like how you can choose the sauce that goes on top of the corn cobs and fries. We did the Buldak sauce on the corn cobs, which was really good. Has some spice but not the extreme spice as the actual ramen. Snow cheese on the fries and was pretty good. We did do the boneless and it wasn't like ground chicken breast, but big pieces of the white breast meat. Also, did boneless as it was cheaper than the bone-in. Was crunchy and was a bit dry, which the sauce helped. Really liked the Asian Cajun that is more of a dry rub. Soy garlic isn't too bad and is sweet. Mango Sriracha has a good heat and I couldn't taste the mango. Carolina Gold I actually didn't really care for, as it made me just want either honey mustard or just BBQ. But not as a combo of the two flavors. There is plenty of seating, but there is not a lot of space in between. So glad it wasn't packed bc we wouldn't have been able to get out. We sat in the back where the cushion seats are.

We ordered the 30 wings that let us choose 6 different flavors. We ordered Asian Cajun, Garlic Parmesean, Plain, Lemon Pepper, and Buldak.

The wings were great. They were crispy, flavorful, and good size. There were a bunch of flavored sauces to pick from. We ordered the 30 wings that let's you pick 6 different flavors. We also ordered the Parmesean fries and an order of regular fries. I liked the parm fries better. Employees here were very friendly and the place was nice and clean. There's plenty of free parking outside in the parking lot. I'll definitely be going back soon.

5 STARS!!! This restaurant has the best quality of chicken I have had out of any wing place in the suburbs. It tastes clean and properly handled. They have a large variety of sauces to choose from. My favorite was the snow cheese, buffalo and the salted egg (not in the picture) the fries were also a huge star of the show! They came out crispy even with the cheese and sauce all over them. They don't skimp out on any sauces and everything is fresh so there will be a wait. The social media manager even greeted us and chatted us up while we waited. The ambiance welcoming, warm, they had TV's to watch and if you're solo they have seating they looks outside.

My daughter and I tried Filipino owned, Fry N' Wings and we loved it! Bone in Mango Sriracha, and salted egg were our favorites! We also loved the lemon pepper, and Parmesan garlic wings. The Asian Cajun corn which was delicious, and flavor of the snow cheese fries were good, but they were a bit soft and not crunchy when we got home. Ranch dressing was bomb! The owner was very nice and gave us a rewards card! We will be back! Thank you!! We'd love to see a calamansi flavor!

Loved my visit! First off...service was above and beyond. So incredibly kind and helpful with all of my questions on these interesting flavors. Food was awesome. We got some boneless and some bone-in as well as fries and the corn. Man. If you want flavor, this is your spot. The Buldak & Gochuchang sauce is awesome. It has some kick for sure, but it's worth it (also...it isn't SUPER spicy to those who like spice). The soy garlic sauce was also great. They have Buldak Ranch fries. You should get them. But here's the thing...I really liked the Snow Cheese fries too. There is a sweetness there that I really liked but I could see thay not everyone would. And don't skip out on the corn! We loved it with the Asain Cajun dry rub. Definitely recommend support this family-owned spot!

Corn and wings originally a 6 piece with Asian Cajun. Very tasty!

Stopped in today to try the wings. New Bolingbrook establishment. Very nice family owned restaurant. Young lady on the cash register was very helpful. I can tell her pride in helping to bringing this restaurant into business. Best part, the flavor of the food is really good and tasty. On Point! I had 6 wings and 5 pice corn Asian Cajun on both. Nice flavor not very hot. Wild I do like heat the flavor was very very good. So much so that I am writing this review after just tasting 2 of the wings and corns. I would say more.... But must go and enjoy

    Jessica C.

The food is always fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. The wings have the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sauces are on another level -- flavorful, bold, and made to perfection. On top of the amazing food, the service is just as good. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick, which makes every visit feel welcoming. you can tell they really care about quality.

They have three tables and six chairs if you want to dine in. One is towards the left side with two chairs. The other two tables are together in the middle, with chairs in case a group comes in. They have a nice seating area on the far right if you are waiting for your carry out. This is mostly a drive-thru and carry out. I would definitely come back to dine in, now that I know they have tables. Other reviews missed this vital part. To clarify on one of the recent reviews. The beef bulgogi bowl combo does not cost $32. It would cost $17.75 without tax. I ordered combo 1 (pork adobo and beef bulgogi onigiri, 4 lumpias, pineapple passion fruit drink, and cassava cake). I also ordered the pork adobo rice bowl, egg sandwich, and matcha white chocolate brownie. I have food for two meals. Overall, it's about a 3.5 - 4 for me. I'll lean in more towards a 4 because I'll come back and try more items. -pork adobo onigiri 2.5 - this one was just okay. It could use more meat and sauce. It was mostly bland. -beef bulgogi onigiri 4 - this was better than the pork adobo. It had more meat but it could use more sauce. -lumpias 5 - they were crispy and flavorful. -cassava cake 5 - it came cold. This is a traditional Filipino dessert. It was light, smooth, and custardy. I could eat two more of these. -pork adobo rice bowl 4.5 - the rice wasn't burnt. There is a generous amount of meat. There are about two meals worth in here. The pork slices were soft and tender. There were a couple pieces that could have been softer. -egg sandwich 5 - you get two sandwiches. The whole sandwich was pretty good. It had a savory taste to it. I would order this again. -matcha white chocolate brownie 5 - it came warm. It was rich, not too sweet, and slightly crumbly. I tasted both the matcha and the white chocolate.

Firstly, if you go here, do not leave without trying the fried chicken - that's not debatable. Other items that make me come back is the chicken katsu, Sotteok Sotteok and Bao Buns. They also have a Korean hot dog that's pretty decent with the soy garlic sauce. My favorite go-to is the chicken katsu, it's not the absolute best I've had but it's very close and this a hard dish to find. Grilled meat not as good as fried meat here. Beef is kinda tasteless. Sotteok Sotteok is chewy rice cakes and sausage if you've never tried it, it's like $4 - give it ago. Bringing me to my next point, this place is super affordable. If you're unfamiliar with Korean food this is an awesome place to experiment and try new things. To elaborate on my complaints, I must start with service here is very hit or miss. More than half of my visits the employees seem clueless about their responsibilities and very rarely come to check if you need anything. The little robot is cool, but you can't ask it for a refill or napkins. All is kind of funny, because you place your order at a counter so servers are really not responsible for much. Secondly, the restaurant is just so blah. Barely decorated walls, a really gross bathroom, corners/moldings are dirty. It gives hospital cafeteria, which is completely different than their hip, vibrant advertisements. All in all, I'm a fan for life but this place could use a little investment to step it up a notch.

This one's building looks like a beautiful lodge. While there is an online Yelp waitlist (that goes up to 6 people), we had a party of 8 so I called the restaurant and they were happy to put my name down for a reservation. We came to celebrate my dad's birthday. We brought a cake to share, and when we arrived, our server was gracious enough to store it in the fridge until we were ready. We had 6 adults and 2 kids. Kids under a certain height (I forget the details exactly) are free. So we didn't have to pay for the little ones, and not like toddlers appreciate hot pot anyway. It was more, "how do we make sure they don't touch the pot?!" which went totally fine. It's to position the high chairs the furthest away from the knobs/hot surfaces. On our end of the table, we got the half-half broth of classic marrow and the gold cabbage marrow. The golden marrow was SO GOOD. I would get this again and again, because it's hot/sour; the flavor of pickled cabbage and the spice of Szechuan peppercorns. Our server said the spice builds over time, and it did. It was so flavorful that I barely used my dipping sauce. If you like hot/spicy and sour, choose this broth, it is DELICIOUS. The sauce station and the prepared food buffet was located in the middle-back of the dining area. It's a little packed and cozy in there, especially during the dinner rush, you may need to wait a little longer or keep an eye on the area to determine when to get out of your seat. This same area has self-service personal ice cream cups, soda, additional toppings/veggies/proteins, buffet (fried rice, fried chicken, egg rolls, fried buns) AND the sauce station. What I did love is there was a gentleman who was making balloon animals/hats/characters for sale near the front of the restaurant. He says he does this occasionally when he doesn't have other gigs like parties or weddings, etc, so my kiddo and my niece each got a cat and a bunny, respectively. This made their day! And it was nice for them not to be strapped into a high chair the whole time, and have something to entertain them. Overall, 4 shining stars! It would have been great if they had private and semi-private rooms like the Bridgeport location, but I think this wasn't possible due to their building. It looked like they took over a from a Mangia Bubala Roadhouse (Italian and Jewish fare) which took over from a Connie's Pizza. This place has gone through some changes, but it looks like Happy Lamb will be there for the long-run.

After 10 minutes the host comes and tells the couple they have tables but they aren't cleaned yet and he's waiting. Mind you the restaurant isn't packed, but there are a few tables dining. I'm guessing they were understaffed. Anyhow, after another 10 minutes the guy ahead of us gets seated. Nothing was said to us. Another party of two came and they were also waiting and they flagged someone down. The host said the same thing as earlier, they have tables that haven't been cleaned. 10 mins later he goes to try to seat them knowing we were there first. The lady even told him, well they were here first. He went ahead and seated them anyway then came back and got us. It's 245. I told him we had a reservation for 230. The lack of communication from the host was off putting. We were hungry and my son really wanted bbq. I would have gone to SGD, but they are closed on Mondays. Anyhow, we wait around a good 10 mins before a server comes to take a drink order. Again, they weren't completely packed, I counted 3 servers and a host. We order ribeye, chicken, filet, kalbi and the hirami in a pot for our meats. We also got corn, spinach, a salad and the fried rice and an order of white rice. I ask him if that's enough food and he says yes, but you can keep a menu in case you want more. Our table was 2 adults and 2 kids who are 11 and 9. Fried rice comes out first and the meats. I ask him to bring the white rice too for my son. He said he forgot and will grab it right away. Let's just say he brought the white rice a good 15 mins after...and I had to remind him. So my son is sitting there eating his meat with no rice. The hirami in the pot was a good size but there were 5 pieces of ribeye and 5 pieces of filet and 5 pieces of chicken and maybe 8 pieces of the kalbi. How is this enough for 4 people? So we order another 2 orders of kalbi. I don't know the happy hour portions are tiny. We also needed refills and that took a couple reminders. We also ordered another order of rice. We are pretty much done eating when I ask him what happened to our rice order? He said he will check and that he ordered it awhile ago. He comes back within 2 minutes with our rice saying there was a mix up in the kitchen? Was it really a mix up or did you just forget? By the time we get our check it's 445. Why did this take so long? We have been there before and we are usually in and out in an hour and a half. So they took the fried rice off our bill. Then for tip, it's asking if we want to tip 18, 22 or 22%? Are you being serious? This guy had to constantly be reminded of everything, service was so slow and he had only two other tables. Someone else was picking up our dirty plates and bringing us the meats. I've never had a bad experience here until now. The visit wasn't worth the $180. Food was good except the filet. That had no flavor at all and had to be drenched with the sauces on the table. We have gotten delivery from here before and the portions were bigger during delivery. One other thing to note, the server never even changed out our grill...they usually do that half way through.
