Her great grand parents were buried in Greenwood Memorial Terrace but the graves weren't marked. Kelly from the office looked them up and printed off giant maps. He could have stopped there. But he left a busy office and walked us out to the exact locations. The area where our kin are buried is a "non-endowed" section of the cemetery. They do no maintenance. No upkeep at all. It's like being buried in the woods. It is hauntingly beautiful. No tailored lawns. Primitive elegance. They let families put up their own temporary markers or you can pay to have something permanently placed. It all seemed very reasonable. And Kelly was so great about tromping around with us when there wasn't any payoff. It's exactly the sort of treatment we would all want no matter what our situation.

Not only that, but Andrew and Julie were responsive, professional, and courteous throughout. My sister and I initially met with Andrew a few months prior to my mom's passing and he was not only able to handle my multitude of questions, but to gently guide my sister, who had never been through the process before. Both Andrew and Julie handled my mom's services with the highest degree of care and professionalism from beginning to end, and we were able to honor and celebrate my mom in a way that was most meaningful to us.

So My grandparents were in touch with funeral home and said they would cover whatever but wanted 80 percent of his body once cremated (which ex wanted cremation). The funeral home agreed to this. My grandparents paid for 2 viewings, cremation, pendants engraved with ashes (very expensive) They then had the ashes sent from Spokane to Missouri. The urn was opened not even 15 percent of ashes in there. Come to find out gave all the ashes to his ex. Idk if the funeral just said all that and didn't except us to check the ashes received. But I thought it was very terrible of them to conduct business that way. I do not recommend this place. And I suggest everyone check your urn to ensure your getting what your suppose to.

When we eventually got word of his passing, over a month later, we were all shocked. His son had been searching for him so he could meet his grandchildren for the first time. Sarah was a true blessing to us. My mother coordinated with her for my uncle's cremation and to have him sent home to us. Sarah was upfront about all of the costs, gave us options and helped us make an action plan. I will forever be grateful for Sarah's kindness and willingness to work with our family through all of us. There is customer service and then there is the care that Sarah showed. Death is a part of life and I only hope that other families can have someone with Sarah's heart to help them through their difficulties. Thank you for sending him home to us. We found the staff to be empathetic, knowledgeable, patient, and kind in all of our interactions with them. They were also respectful of our wishes and never pressured us to buy a product or package, or upgrade the service we selected. The staff there took care of transporting his body to Spokane, preparing him for our funeral mass, and proactively working with us to ensure all went smoothly. The price was far less expensive than two other quotes given to us by local businesses. Still, the highest standards were set by the staff, nothing looked cheap, and we received personalized service every step of the way. We plan to utilize them again, and will be meeting with them to discuss and prepare for our own services and cremation.
