This was our first visit. Looked like a great fresh fish spot. I have heard they sell shrimp caught same day! The peeled-deveined shrimp were from Florida, so we opted for the easier prep shrimp over local. Friendly staff.

First time visiting Woods! I've been hearing great reviews about their fish variety... finally made it in. They carry everything you need for a delicious dinner at home. They reeled me in. I love fresh fish and they have plenty of it. Clean fresh caught fish market with friendly service.

Extremely friend and helpful staff. They get live crawfish seasonally which is hard to find in our area. Check their Facebook for when they have it available. They even bring what you purchase out to your vehicle. I highly recommend them.

Low country boul

This place never disappoints when it comes to wanting a good quick low country boil. They are predominantly a seafood butcher shop but also partake in making very affordable low country boil for anywhere from 1 to 100 people. We have eaten here numerous times and go back whenever we get the inkling for some seafood. You need to make sure you call ahead and place your order, but doing this makes it a quick in and out when you show up to the location.

Oysters, not cleaned

I've been shopping here for probably around a decade and always had good service and products. Today that ended, they lost my reservation, I waited in my car for 20 mins for them to bring them out as instructed and they forgot about me after I paid. I get home and the oysters are filthy. They have always been washed before I pick them up. This place has always been 5 stars but it was 1 star service today for sure.

On our trip to Savannah we were lucky enough to drive by Woods seafood. They had a impressive assortment of fresh seafood to select from. Since we were staying in our RV we opted for the cooked family size seafood boil. Food was made fresh to order in about a ten minute wait. Service was friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer and could shop here more often. Wonderful place to stop!

The "Low Country Boils" are the best. When you get one, do not forget to grab a tub of garlic butter. Above all, the price is right.

Go early because the line will be out the door. Freshest seafood in the area. Always has great fresh catch.

He asked us how we were thinking of cooking the fish, and what we were making (ie- pan, fish tacos). He then gave us some recommendations and told us about each of the selections. We were impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly he was. We went with the triple tail and it did not disappoint. It was a perfect for blackened fish tacos and cooked quickly. High quality fish and tasty! A great local fish market, will definitely be back.

The store also had some frozen options and there were some souvenirs. The guy at the counter was friendly. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars was the price. I just went to the local fresh fish market at Platt's in Myrtle Beach one month ago, and most prices here were almost DOUBLE what I paid there. My husband and I discussed that the rent is likely much higher on Hilton Head and they likely have a more affluent clientele that affords these prices. I got the cheapest options to take back to Charlotte in my cooler. I bought 1 lb of tuna ($23), 1 lb of XL shrimp ($16), and 20 of their $1 oysters in season. The gentleman generously gave me 24 oysters for $20. He also offered ice for my cooler. Customer service was excellent. I spoke with one of the regular customers while waiting in line and they highly recommended everything. I'm adding a photo of the tuna rice bowl I made. Ignore the fact that I overcooked it, it was my first time. However, the fish tasted excellent. I really liked the Asian cucumbers I made to go with it !
