And to boot, they do work that no one else would touch. For me, that included a complete rebuild of my 2006 transmission in 2024 in their shop. Yes it was costly but it was not a remanufactured tranny and extended the life of my car. If the engine goes, I'll likely return for an engine rebuild rather than a remanufactured engine. On another day, some basic work that should be simple and easy they seem capable of completely missing the mark. Couple this with their reliance on Metro Motor.com and their BG maintenance recommendations and you have what feels like a very hard sell to get your money. The BG recommendations are like a laundry list of what you MIGHT do to your auto if you had unlimited funds and just wanted to spend freely. There seems to be no rnyme or reason to the recommendations either in milage or elapased time. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying premiusm prices (which Ken's is) for premium work. That's the issue. I feel like it's sometimes worth it and other times not. I've reached the consclusion that they will get my more difficult jobs but routine maintenance will be handled elsewhere. I wonder if over time they have changed ownership or have new sales incentives in place. It's a shame. I really want them to be like The Car Talk guys from Boston and only do what's right.

Sunday night, my car wouldn't start. I had it towed to superior on Sunday night and it was there…read morefor them first thing Monday morning. Superior noted on the invoice that the car was dead on arrival. Said they tested the battery and that they were able to start the vehicle with starting fluid after multiple attempts. Well, to me that means there were something wrong with the car battery. They got the car running and charged me $155. They kept the car all day, over seven hours to do the safety maintenance inspection that I didn't ask for. They didn't ask me either. Two days later, the car would not start again. I called superior to let them know and they said that the battery was OK when it was there. The battery was dead in their own words when they checked it. I don't understand why they didn't replace the battery. I was unable to go to work on my new job on Wednesday, I would think that an auto service center would recognize when a battery needs replaced.. I am homeless and sleeping in my car. I have no money to get it towed. Fortunately, somebody helped me in the Walmart parking lot to get the car running so I can drive it to a Walmart service center. If that kind person did not help me, I would've been stuck there. I would not have been able to go to work. I wouldn't had a place to sleep. Anyway, I think they should've changed the battery on Monday when the car was in their shop. I think they should've recognized that since it was dead on Sunday and Monday and it was a really old battery, they should have replaced it. Since they didn't, it was a big hassle for me not going back to Superior auto service again. It said on the invoice that they recommended that I monitor it. That is ridiculous. I'm supposed to just drive the car around and hope that it starts when I get back in. I would have to have an expense of it being towed. Shouldn't they fix the car so you don't get stranded somewhere ? Walmart charged me $150 for the battery and instillation. Superior charged me $155 and didn't fix the car. They just gave me a list of $2000 worth of stuff that needed to be Repaired.

I went to another mechanic, and he showed me that the parts were not replaced. I paid over $1600 to Premier Autowerks for nothing. I wouldn't take any vehicle there. That place is a joke.

Drove the car home and then noticed that the passenger side side view mirror was melted. Literally the paint and plastic was melted.....!!!! So I called them and drove all the way back to the shop and Eric was already gone for the day, but his worker said that they looked at a picture from the front of the car and said they could see a shadow showing that the sideview mirror looked "wavey" Bull crap!!! He said they took the mirror and the door off the front passenger side to do work on the rear passenger side, and that they only put the sideview mirror in the car and that it couldn't have gotten damaged.... I said there is NO WAY that my sideview mirror could get MELTED on the top of it while it was on my car. The plastic and paint are literally melted!!! Car is in great condition except the door that had to be repaired. Now they are saying that the MELTED sideview mirror must have already been like that. No pictures of the sideview mirror damage prior to doing the work. They melted the sideview mirror at the shop. Don't know how or who, but it wasn't melted when I dropped it off....... Every place I have ever been too takes detailed pictures of a car to make sure that this exact thing doesn't happen!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. BEWARE. Dishonest. Go somewhere else.....

Fitzway said they would fix it with no charge. When they supposedly fixed it, they did not replace the broken hydraulic arm that opens and closes the glove compartment. They left it with one arm, which worked for a while. They never told me to come back when the part came in for the arm. They just said they fixed it. Now my glove compartment is sitting on my car floor. This is how I found out that they never replaced the hydraulic arm.
