This hotel is disgusting. Due to an unforeseen circumstance with my family, we had to find a hotel to sleep at for a week. This is the only one we could find for the time being. When we checked in, we found water bugs in the bathroom & we squished them as soon as we saw them. The rooms smell terrible, the walls are disgusting, even the lampshade is nasty. Only on our 2nd day, our room keys wouldn't work (you only get 1 key per room by the way) Fast forward a few days, we got back and turned the lights on and COCKROACHES scattered. Our room keys didn't work, AGAIN. So we went down to the front desk to let them know about the problem and they informed us they could either spray the room or move us. We opted to spray. Come the next day, they obviously didn't spray because we killed about 5 COCKROACHES AGAIN. There is no housekeeping & if you need more towels you have to exchange them for new "clean" ones. I wish I could give them 0 stars because this place is DISGUSTING!

As part of our stay, we booked a night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott just outside Perry Hall in Baltimore, and it turned out to be a genuinely pleasant stop on an emotional journey. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the hotel welcomed us with charm. The lobby was beautifully dressed in full autumn spirit--scarecrows, pumpkins, rich fall colors--like a warm seasonal hug. The staff even allowed us to check in early, which was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. My wife handled check-in and was greeted by Tyrell, a standout concierge who not only made the process smooth but also shared some great recommendations for things to do in Baltimore. His kindness set the tone for the stay. Our room was impressively spacious, featuring two queen beds, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, and a standard TV equipped with Netflix--perfect for winding down. The only hiccup was the TV remote, which felt like it required superhuman strength to use. I initially thought it was just old batteries, but even after a trip to the front desk for replacements, it turned out the remote itself was just... well, not the hotel's finest feature. The second minor annoyance was an unexpected 6 a.m. alarm that no one in our family had set--an unwelcome surprise before breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, though--what a highlight. The spread was delightful: eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereals, and the always-fun make-your-own-waffle station, complete with batter dispensers and sizzling waffle irons. It was a cheerful way to start the morning. Overall, our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott was comfortable, welcoming, and filled with thoughtful touches. Despite a couple of small frustrations, we left with a positive impression--and we'd happily stay at another Marriott property in the future.

The so-called "breakfast" consists of pre-made wrapped breakfast sandwiches, cereal & milk (only decent choice). Prior to our departure, I completed a virtual check-in through the Hilton app and selected our room, as the app indicated that the key was being prepared. Unfortunately, our flight from Los Angeles, California (LAX) to Baltimore, Maryland (BWI) was delayed, and we had to reschedule for a later time. I contacted Hilton Honors to discuss the next steps and was reassured that since I had already checked in virtually, everything would be fine. I was told to simply show my ID to the front desk associate upon arrival, which would be the next morning around 6 AM due to the rescheduled flight. However, upon arriving after a redeye flight with a one-year-old, I was informed by the front desk representative that my room had been canceled due to a no-show. I explained that I had contacted Hilton Honors and was assured that my reservation would remain intact. Despite this, I was told that my reservation had been canceled, I had been charged, and the hotel was fully booked, leaving no accommodation options for my family and me. The representative on the phone offered to book another room for us, but it was significantly out of the way. Additionally, I was not informed that the new reservation was non-cancellable until I was on the phone with the second representative. We couldn't check in until 4 PM, which left us stranded from 8 AM to 4 PM with no place to rest or freshen up after a long and exhausting journey. This situation was extremely inconvenient and frustrating, especially since I had taken steps to prevent any issues by using the virtual check-in and informing Hilton Honors about our delayed arrival. I was deeply disappointed by the lack of assistance and understanding from the customer service team. I also want to add that I was told that I was going to receive a full refund and a manager would be contacting me. I have had no contact with the establishment since.

If you like that kind of thing, then I would like to welcome you to the Garden Inn Baltimore/Whitemarsh. I'm just going to bullet point this gong show. -Room---very old with no guide on the tv remote, and you have no clue where anything is. A real pleasure. -Staff---indifference. When I shared with the person at the front desk there was minimal hot water, she looked at me like I must be lying and said "I will add it to the list for my manager". She pulled out a sheet of paper and I briefly saw the list....it was long. It was never fixed. One good thing, I did ask the gentlemen at the front desk about the tv my first night re the guide, and he shared a listing of the channels that he had taken the initiative to make. That was helpful. Probably should put that in every room. -Food---breakfast is confusing. Is there a buffet, is there not? It was edible but you have to make your own toast. For some reason, they can cook the rest, but this part is on you. Nice touch, because everyone traveling loves the opportunity to cook. -Nice lobby and the fitness center had the basics. -the waitress on Wednesday morning was very attentive. I have stayed at Garden Inn's and they are usually just fine. Ownership/management is usually the cause when everything is offand my guess is there isn't any at this location. Unless the message from management to the staff is "remember our moto, be below average!!!", this is all off a beat. The good news is, there is a Hampton Inn just across the street that I can try next time. Hopefully it's different local ownership/management. Welp, my ride is here to head to the airport and as I went to the coffee bar to grab a to go coffee, I couldn't get a coffee to go. The dispensers were empty....."below average".

First the positive, the location is convenient with a lot of restaurants and stores within a few minutes of driving. It has a good sized parking lot which is free. The morning breakfast is not free but the women helping serve and cook were the nicest I dealt with. Now for the negative. I don't even have a problem with it being outdated (which it is) however filthy is where I draw the line. From the moment I arrived just walking the hallways the place smells of weed. I didn't get the room I picked ahead of time and paid extra for on an upper floor with a king suite because I was told it was under construction. I was then put in a double queen suite on floor 4. The room was probably the worst hotel room I have ever seen. It was extremely filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned or maintained, with a nice hole in the wall, dirty sheets, filthy floors, candy on the floor and mold in some places as shown in the photos. I went to complain and they said they could send someone tomorrow to clean , in the meantime I asked for new sheets and remade the bed myself. Someone did come by and clearly vacuumed while I was out the next day but that's about it. Other than an apology , nothing was done or compensated and they didn't seem to care. I honestly should have left and gone somewhere else . Next time I come back for work I will clearly stay elsewhere . Hilton should take a look into this hotel and be embarrassed it's under their brand. I should have listened to others saying similar in their reviews.

Our family is planning a wedding in May 2027, and we would very much like to reserve a block of approximately 50 rooms at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baltimore White Marsh for our guests. Unfortunately, I have been trying for nearly two months to connect with Rebecca in Sales and Keisha as the Manager, including multiple phone calls, voicemails, emails, and conversations with members of the front desk team, and I have yet to receive a response. I completely understand that hotels are busy and things can fall through the cracks, which is why I've continued trying to reach someone. At this point, though, after so many attempts over such a long period of time, I'm honestly not sure what else to do. We're not calling with a complaint... we're actually trying to bring a significant amount of business to the hotel! We would simply love to speak with someone who can help us arrange the room block. If anyone from SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baltimore White Marsh management or corporate sees this, I would sincerely appreciate someone reaching out to me at mailto:mikeleahyj@gmail.com or call my cell phone at 908-456-4377. Thank you very much. I'm hopeful we can finally connect and get this taken care of!

The room was sparse, but clean and adequate. No coffee maker. No bedside stand for my phone or alarm, which was rather inconvenient. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. However, my biggest issue was the bed! The mattress should have been given last rites a decade ago. The side closest to the door will pull you in and wrap itself around you in a big lumpy hug as you sink down into the abyss, while the other side was only a little better than sleeping on a gravel driveway...hard and poking. The entire mattress was extremely lumpy. I should have asked for a change to a different room, but I was already unpacked and much too tired to move. It will be days before my back and hips forgive my indiscretion and lack of good judgement in staying, hence the above wheelchair reference. I feel like I could use one right about now. So much for getting a good night's rest!
