This was a fine 2 night stay at a Hyatt. Showed up after check in and got checked in just fine. Location is really good too. It's close to the inner harbor, which is really nice to walk around during the day. It's definitely a city hotel. Parking is valet only. When we were there there was a a conference going on nearby so when departing, getting our car out took at least 30-45 mins (it was a Sunday). Not a bit deal for us too much since we weren't in a rush, but just keep this in mind. They only had one valet running the whole show. He apologized, but honestly I told him it was fine. Breakfast is your standard Hyatt Place buffet. Bagels, some kind of breakfast protein, cereals, fruits, etc. Overall it was a crowded time when were were there, but it was a fine stay. Pros: Great location with lots of nice restaurants, shops, and a Whole Foods within a two-block radius; well laid-out room despite its small footprint; an above average free breakfast. Cons: Not-so-friendly evening front desk staff; in desperate need of a renovation and deeper cleaning, plus more lighting. I stayed at this location for 4 nights to attend a conference at the Baltimore Convention Center. My flight was delayed by over an hour, so I got in at 1 am (thankfully, I'm from the West Coast so it was only like 10 pm for me). The first issue I had was that there was absolutely no parking - valet only and the valet was, at best, $25/day. The hallways were old and worn down. The room looked really tired and lightly dirty on all surfaces. However, I just wanted to get to bed. The thermostat didn't work which was really inconvenient because, it turned out, the entire hotel had the heaters blasting and it made the room stuffy. After a wait, someone fixed the thermostat. Breakfast was okay the first day, but after that, the usual problem arose with few options for someone with a wheat allergy. The breakfast was an ongoing issue for me. The other major problem was that I had asked for a turn-down halfway through my stay. At the end of a long day, I was looking forward to new towels and a shower. They gave me half the amount of towels I started with, and turned off the thermostat which broke it again! The room itself was awful, but I do have to say that the staff was really lovely. They were nice, some were funny, and one of the valet guys helped me find my glasses in my rental car. It made a long work trip away from home a little nicer to talk to them. read more

We had a lovely one-night stay at this Hyatt Place. I'll be honest, I'm a Hyatt girlie and former Globalist and have NEVER been impressed by Hyatt Place ... until this visit. Everything was pretty awesome from start to finish. We were able to check in early for $20. Not bad at all. We opted for valet parking, which was $35 a night with in/out privileges. There are def lots around for cheaper, but we just went with ease. Check-in was easy and mostly done via phone. Even got a digital key. Service was great. Everyone I interacted with was very kind and accommodating. What I lived and appreciated most was being selected as "guest of the day!" We had such a nice note and complimentary snack upon arrival and it was just a sweet gesture. Room was super clean! I am a bed bug checker and I can tell you things were in great shape. Floors were clean, too! Breakfast: free! Spread was basic but got the job done! It included: eggs, waffles, bacon, tortillas, cereal options, milk options (one plant-based), fruit, yogurt, bagels and bread. Juice and water, too. One dislike: the pool situation. Not great. You have to make reservations, which I liked but others are allowed to reserve at the same time. The pool is TINY and over-chlorinated. And, unfortunately, there were times it was QUITE busy. I couldn't even get in with my kid. There also were no towels and I texted the hotel to request but it took 30 minutes. I get, though, the hotel seemed busy. Overall, a really good experience. Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review due to how difficult things are if something goes wrong. The stay was fine, but I left my retainer. I called the hotel and after navigating the phone tree, they told me to fill out something on ileftmystuff.com. I spoke to a person in the hotel, and they either refused to or weren't allowed to do anything. I contacted ileftmystuff.com and even followed up with them. They followed up with the hotel, almost a week ago now for the follow up. I have heard nothing. I understand that it's my fault that I left something, and I'm not mad at them for that. I am upset that I couldn't talk to someone at the hotel and had to go through a random other service and still didn't get contacted. This is absolutely terrible service, and I'm really disappointed. read more

My husband & I stayed here on Monday night, 05/04/26. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean and we had a nice window view. However, we did run into a mishap where there was a guest leaving our room when we were coming up to put our things down. We went to the lobby & the ladies at the front desk were very nice about explaining the situation to us. The guest had checked in just before we had, and needed to change her room to be closer to the elevator for easy access since she was an older woman. The reason for the rating in our opinion was that our air conditioning did not work well at all so we were sweating all night & could not get comfortable at all. My husband also said the walls were very thin and he could hear outside our room people yelling & fighting early in the morning so it made it hard for him to sleep. But overall the room was good for the day that we had stayed but would not stay there if we planned a longer trip down to Baltimore. read more

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place Baltimore Inner Harbor. I had an event at another hotel nearby, and I knew I didn't want to drive home afterward. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very professional and helpful. There are many food options available within walking distance. Terrible hotel, great front desk service by Brea- Our a/c didnt work, (August) of course there is no maintenance attendant after hours, the clerk was going to bring us a fan, but looked for an hour and called to tell us they couldn't find one. (1 am now) It went up to 82* in our room, and we can't open any windows, they are sealed. BUT, maintenance guy knocks on our door at 8:30 SUNDAY morning to check the a/c- the cleaning lady knocks at 9:30 am SUNDAY to ASK if we are checking out today! WTF? Our friends room had stained carpets, couches and torn bedding. Gross. I tt Brea at the front desk and received a discount- it didnt fix anything, but she was genuinely a nice lady and helped ease the sting. Not planning to stay here in the future. read more

We returned from a night out and asked for food recommendations. The young lady at the checking counter gave us several recommendations. We ended up going to one and when we returned we gave her menus because she didn't have any to share with guest. Booked a room here for my daughter's 17th. Initially booked for the location and indoor pool; however, I booked on a 3rd party site so I didn't know that you actually had to book time with the front desk to use the pool and it's only open 10 am to 8 pm. So that was disappointing, but the location was good for her and her friends to be able to walk to different places. Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly, especially the security guard who kindly informed me that there is a garage around the corner within walking distance that cost $5 rather than doing valet at the hotel for $42! I like that you couldn't use the elevator without a key card for security reasons. Overall she had a great time and although the pool situation was disappointing, she loved her stay here. read more

As others have said, the location being right in Harbor East is the main reason to stay here! There are lots of restaurants, Whole Foods, etc nearby plus the convenience of being near the Inner Harbor. The staff was amazing and very accommodating, but the hotel itself needs some renovating. The rooms have stains and you can just feel their age. They're pretty big though, with a separate couch area which is nice. Parking is either on your own in a nearby garage or through valet at the hotel. read more

We booked the 2 Queens with sofa bed and it was very spacious! I really liked how new and modern the rooms were decorated. Bathroom was huge! I loved the two options for lighting with the bathroom mirror. However, some things were broken and it was not very clean.. Bed frame, nightstand, desks were dusty. Bathroom door lock wouldn't lock correctly half of the time. Sink faucet was broken. Super thin walls, we could hear our neighbors throughout the night. Bathroom was definitely not soundproof because you could also hear everything. The closet had a weird moldy smell which the smell transferred to our clothes as well. One of the flattest pillows I've ever slept on :/ If you decide to use the fridge, make sure your flick the on switch and adjust the temperature or else it won't keep your food cold. They serve free breakfast like hot food (bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes), bagel, cereal, fruits (don't recommend, tasted old and soaked in pineapple juice), coffee, etc. There's also other restaurants nearby like Dunkin' Donuts. The rooms do not come with a microwave but there is one where breakfast is served. The water they serve tasted like hose water so I recommend getting water from the dispenser in the gym instead. Valet is too expensive at around $35/ night. I recommend parking in the Fleet and Eden garage which is right behind the hotel for more affordable parking ($5 on weekends!). Great location and close walking distance to the Harbor waterfront and Fell's Point. Overall, friendly customer service and safe area. The downside with customer service is they're not very clear on the pricing with early check-in/ late check-out and overcharged us a little more than we had previously discussed online. read more

3.5/5. This hotel is in a central location to many restaurants and downtown Baltimore attractions. We came into town to meet with some wedding vendors for our DC wedding and overall, this place served the purpose for a couple nights. The room was well-sized and they offer a buffet breakfast in the lobby for your basic needs. A couple small nits - You have to get a reserved spot and key for the indoor pool. They only allow 10 people at a time. The gym looks good but the Pelaton was broken and they had no water. It was also 58 degrees - I like a cold gym over a hot gym but this was freezing. The base fee for the hotel was low, but there are definitely several fees to be aware of. Early check in is $60 if before noon, $40 before two, and $25 before four pm. We arrived at 3 pm after a rough flight so we paid the fee but most hotels let you just come in if you're only an hour ready and the room is ready. Valet parking is $42 a night - There is a garage next door for $16 overnight. read more

Had a great stay here to see the Yankees play at Camden yards. When I arrived it was packed with Yankee fans and fully booked. The front desk told me my room wasn't ready because they were short staffed which was a bummer but understandable. Overall the room was clean, comfortable with a great view which you could see the Harbor from. Walking distance to Camden Yards, inner harbor and some great food in Little Italy a block or two away. Did stop to see the pool and fitness area which are both pretty small, also has a lounge courtyard area for nice days outside. Will be back if I'm in town again! read more

Hands down the worst Hyatt location I've ever stayed at as a Hyatt loyalist. My room wasn't even fully ready once we went in. The drawers were all left open, fridge was open, the sofa seat bed was pulled out and the stained cushions were in one pile. I ended up fixing everything up myself and then realized there were no towels. I tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work. I went downstairs and told the front desk and he didn't seem too concerned about the issue and that he would send someone with the towels. I wait almost an hour and still no towels so I go to the telephone by the elevators and call and he says he told housekeeping so it's up to them. Wow. I head back to my room and on my way I see a housekeeper and let her know my issue and it takes another 15 minutes to get my towels. I would honestly think a blunder like this would be treated with a little more haste and attention from the staff but it really wasn't the case. The 6th floor smelled like dead corpse and sewage being covered up with some kind of an industrial disinfectant used in hospitals. You cannot get used to this kind of a coverup. I've stayed at every level of Hyatts worldwide and this had to be at the very bottom. I visit Baltimore annually and will never consider coming back to this location. Let this be a stern warning to you and your loved ones. read more

The staff (especially the ones I encountered on mid shift), were fantastic! They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. The hotel lobby was clean and had plenty of space. The cocktails and food was a bit limited compared to what was promoted on the website. The room was nice, but did have a few stains on the floor, but they were dry. The room looked clean other than the stains and smelled clean too. The full breakfast was a flop. One of the worst hotel breakfasts I have had. Everything was bland (except for the sausage). The eggs were watery, the donut holes were extremely dense, the French toast sticks were flattened, tough to chew and cut through. The best part of the meal was the sausage: it was tasty and juicy. Definitely staying here again, but will eat out. read more

The staff is very friendly, the room is very clean, and the location is top tier. Now, what o don't like is they put 2 towels in the room for 4 guests. The parking is $42 per vehicle per night, and the indoor pool is by reservation only. Imagine my surprise when taking my 8 yo to the pool to not be able to get in because it was booked! We planned on traveling to a restaurant in Eldridge but decided against it for fear of losing our $42 spot in the garage that belongs to the hotel. Next time, I will definitely find a location that's convenient and gives the inclusions boasted about like access to the indoor pool during operation hours! read more

I stayed for a week in late May during graduation season and enjoyed hanging my hat here. My room was in great condition, the bed was very comfortable, and housekeeping did a good job keeping it clean during my stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great every morning. The location worked out well for our purposes and the parking was around the back of the building but not inconvenient. Picking up random supplies from the nearby CVS and paying through my teeth for them was about the only downside to staying here and that was no fault of Hyatt. The gym was ok for a very basic workout, and it was nice that hours weren't limited. Our group booked 5 separate rooms on the same floor and some of the others had problems with their room a/c, but mine worked very well and I had no complaints and was happy to have stayed here. read more

I loved this Hyatt Place. The location is fantastic. You are next to Little Italy and it's a quick walk to Fells. Plus, there's Nando's, Whole Foods, CVS, Starbucks, and Sephora right there. When I visited, there was construction, which was annoying, but hopefully that's over soon. The rooms are somewhat of an upgraded basic. Not super trendy or luxurious, but really clean and comfy. The bed was amazing. I slept so well. I was able to really relax and enjoy my time in the room, which great. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful and I really appreciate that. My only issue is with housekeeping. I was taking an afternoon nap and was awakened by them screaming at each other in the hall. Then, on my checkout day, they tried to come clean the room before I had checked out. They need to do better. However, I did love this hotel and am looking forward to staying here again. read more

This was a wonderful place to crash the night before our cruise. We drove into town the night before our cruise was leaving from the Baltimore Docks. The hotel was easy to find and they have a parking garage behind the hotel that is FAR cheaper than the hotel's overnight parking rate. It's on the same block so it's an easy walk over. The room was very generously sized and impeccably clean. Very modern and simply decor. The lobby is also beautifully decorated with a full bar/cafe open nearly all night. While Baltimore isn't my favorite city, I at least know that I have a safe and comfortable place to stay the next time I'm taking a cruise read more

My partner and I stayed at this Hyatt Place for a quick weekend trip. We got a king bedroom on the fourth floor. We stayed in room 410 and it was really comfortable. We're World of Hyatt Loyalty folks, so love the familiarity of a Hyatt Place when doing quick trips. I tried to coordinate an early check-in on the phone and they weren't able to find my reservation so they had to send me to a different department (we were able to work it out). The GM here, Michael, is incredible and very kind. When we did arrive for check-in, there was no issue. If you drive here, you're able to valet your car, however, I highly recommend parking your car at the garage nearby, it was only $16/night. They have good wifi here. The breakfast buffet has all the staples like teas/coffee, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, and bagels. The concierge has a snack section where you can order drinks or a variety of snacks. If you're looking for a pretty central hotel, this Hyatt Place is a good one. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby too. read more

I would not recommend this hotel. The location is pretty good and you can walk to most places, lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff is GREAT. I had many questions as I didn't know the area very well and they were always super friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, I thought the hotel had been remodeled. I could not see evidence of that. The bathroom looked dingy. The carpet had stains. The closet was dark with no light. Popcorn ceilings were just painted over. It just had a dark feel. The biggest problem was the HVAC system. I was so cold the first night that I thought the heater was broken. I tried to adjust the heat and fan settings several times and finally gave up. I got up after trying to go to sleep to put socks on. I got up again to change into warmer pajamas. The fan would not stop blowing cold air. I was miserable and got only about 2 hours of sleep. The second night I turned the heat up to 80 and found out at 3:30am that the heat does eventually work after several hours, but the cold air keeps blowing regardless. You all need to install a new system. Other hotel guests all had the same problem. I got only a few hours of sleep the 2nd night. I was sleep deprived on top of jet lag. All bad. Also, I previously thought the HVAC system was making this constant whooshing noise but turns out it's the tiny little refrigerator in the room. Those need to be replaced. The noise is not normal. A minor complaint. While some of the rooms had large soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers, my room did not. And I had only a tiny bottle of shampoo, a conditioner, and 2 little bar soaps. They don't clean the room unless you ask...so was this supposed to last me the whole 2 weeks?? I'll post pictures later... Obviously don't stay here if you can avoid it. read more

The location of this property is amazing if your trying to get around the city, but the rooms on the other hand could use some TLC. We stayed from 4/25/2024 - 4/28/2024 in one of the king rooms. The room on first glance is very nice, thought he stains on the rugs/couch should have been addressed before having guests in the room. The King Bed was very stiff and took abit to get used to. The bathroom shower head was dirty and the drain took forever to drain the shower. There was also hair from someone before our stay on the shower walls close to the door. The AC broke down but the front desk was kind enough to give us a discount on our last day of the stay. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had about the area. Overall a nice experience but nothing fantastic. Room was clean for the most part besides the hair in the bathroom and the stains on the rug / couch. 3/5 stars read more

Location, location, location, & this property delivers! My view of the downtown skyline was amazing... Especially at night! The property is located in the inner harbor area of downtown Baltimore; & is surrounded by things to do/see: Shopping, dining, night life, & the beautiful harbor. We felt safe walking around the area, as well as in the hotel. In addition the staff was top notch: Big shout out to Ralph, Tyesha, Charlotte, & Jordan! They were all friendly, knowledgeable, professional, & willing to go the extra mile for guests. Cons: My bed linen/pillow case were stained. Although they were immediately replaced by house cleaning once notified; they shouldn't have been overlooked in the first place. The telephone in our room did not work, or wasn't charging. The front desk was notified, however for some odd reason it was never resolved - Sigh! Lastly... There are no microwaves in the rooms. The property's only microwave is located in the common dining area (where breakfast is served).. Talk about an inconvenience; especially for families with small children! Overall I would rate this hotel 3.5 stars with a 5-star staff! There's certainly room for improvement as a downtown property, charging downtown rates! read more

Stayed here with family including my 4 and 6 year olds over Spring Break. The positive things: friendly staff, decent breakfast, great location. Negatives: when they say 4 o clock check in they mean it- you won't get in earlier, our room had a king bed and a pull out couch as we were two adults and two kids but they only had bedding for one and couldn't provide a second blanket until our second night there (cold night for 2 of us), never replaced towels or refilled toilet paper, couch had stains all over the cushions, tv very limited and no streaming or casting available, the pool (which you have to reserve and I saw many disappointed kids check in with their parents find out there where no slots available for their stay) is FREEZING and even my excited kids couldn't tolerate it for long- purple lips and shivering after 5 minutes. The staff were so nice and always seemed like they wanted to help correct issues that we had but didn't have the resources. I'm sure there are better options with the same great location. read more

Make sure to lock your doors! I was staying here for four days with colleagues on a work trip. We had to extend our stay an extra night because of weather and my same room wasn't available. No problem, so I moved rooms. There must have been a mixup in the system so as I was lying in bed during a quick rare break, two strangers WALKED into my room because the front desk had given them my key card. I jumped up terrified and they left. Being a single female alone in a hotel room, I could have been naked or sleeping or any number of things. I called the front desk and was outraged and they said the 'room I was in was showing as empty in their system.' They basically just said "sorry. We'll give you a new key card" and that was it. No accountability and not apologetic at all. This should not happen. No one should be able to walk into your hotel room. There were other issues that my colleagues had too. I also left a charger in my previous room and they were not able to help me get it. All this being said, I will not stay here again. read more
