I just recently went into Woody's Bar - I have driven past it a number of times but never stopped. My experience here was wonderful! I came in with a friend and it was quickly clear that most of the people in the bar were regulars. The bartender and a few of the regulars asked if it was our first time in. The people that we met engaged in friendly conversation and were very welcoming. We went on a Thursday and were pleased to learn that it was karaoke night! There was a free app that we needed to download to get into the cue, but it was very easy. The karaoke crowd was also very kind. They also have a little menu that consisted of hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and other quick foods. We ordered onion rings and they were pretty good. I will be coming back for sure! read more

I'm not usually a person who frequents bars, but this place was in between my place, and my mom's. It was a convenient location for the two of us to meet at, so we started meeting there. Since I've been going, I have gotten to know the bartenders, and the regulars. This bar has such a sense of community, everyone I've met is nice, and the bartender named Bo even walks my mom out to her car at night. The bartender named Matt is always friendly and great to be around. A bar has always been a location to me and nothing more. I never thought a bar could win me over like this one, but here I am, writing a Yelp review about the wonderful people and awesome sense of community this place has. My friend lives nearby so we come here fairly often. Its very small and has a very neighborhoody feel to it. I think most of the people who come here are regulars. I've driven by this place a million times and never stopped in until my friend started coming here. It's only just recently that I realized they have their own tiny parking lot off to the side. There is a pool table and some darts inside, some nights they have karaoke. We usually end up sitting at the bar where we get incredible service with frequent water fill ups. Bartenders are always helpful and make sure drinks are served in a timely manner. I hear they have food but I never see it. If you like small, unfancy places this is worth checking out, especially if you live in the area. read more

Newly opened dive bar. Used to be the Echo Lake Tavern. Nice selection of beers on tap. Small Panini menu, they also have soup and chili. I didn't try the food, will next time. Clean interior, not smelly or anything. Fairly small, plenty of places to sit though. Service was attentive, asked if I needed another beer before I had finished my first one. Ill be back. read more

Really cool dive bar off hwy99!! The bartender, Bo, went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and made sure to tell us about all the cool nightly specials/events. We checked out Woody's last night for the first time. The other patrons noticed we were new immediately and introduced themselves and made room for us at the bar. They gave us the rundown of the place, introduced us to the staff and the owner and the other regulars. Had a real nice conversation and a great hotdog. This is a super fun bar. We were staying at the hotel across the street, and after a Marlins game, we decided to have a nightcap. We stayed until almost 2 a.m., drinking and karaoke-ing with the locals. Fun group, super friendly, and laid back. This was just the kind of scene we wanted on our vacation. Good solid dive bar. Went there on a Saturday recently for live music and a chicken drop on the back patio. Real packed and cozy. If you are looking for a bar to be able to converse with your friends on a weekend night without shouting, head on down the road to Jerseys or Club Hollywood. But for a fun raucous bar w good service even when busy, head here. But beware the Aurora construction madness. Can be a pain in the ass to get into the lot. (No fault to the business) read more
