I had a horrible experience re-ordering through Lowe's, where I purchased my new construction windows. Told me two weeks, but always came damaged during shipment. Patrick honestly saved me the headache and I wish I would've went straight here months ago! I saw he has stores and windows. I'm not sure if they're for sale. After I reached out to several other screen companies, I find finally found someone who still makes screens the proper way without using cheap plastic corners to hold them together. Other screen companies will try to tell you it's better to have plastic corners because if one side gets bent, you can repair the screen. That's just the marketing ploy for people who don't know how to do the trade properly. The chances of your screen getting bent are pretty low. He also offers multiple kinds of screen mesh depending on your application. A lot of other companies just offer 1 or 2. Patrick built a perfectly fit screen into my antique wood screen door. He is a second generation owner, he still knows how old houses were built and what they need. He even painted the screws to match the installation. He took his time installing and attached a new door closer for me too. He made sure the screen closed at the perfect speed. While I was waiting on my screen (I was painting) my window broke so he fixed that too. I sent my worker to woodys to get some new screens. She was greeted with a man screaming, yelling, and cussing. When he did finally get to help her, he was completely rude and unprofessional. My worker said she will never go there again and refused to work around the man named patrick. He said my screens would take a week. Two weeks later I called about my screens. He said he would get to it tomorrow. Five days later I called and asks if there was a problem when I sent my employee down there. He said he would work on the screens tomorrow. This is twice now he promised this. A week later I showed up there. He was not there. It was locked up with a sign to go to the back. A lady helped me basically saying did he call u. I told her im going to need my screens back. Two finished job sites, four weeks later and screens weren't even touched. She went out back and had to look through dozens of piles of screens, with names on them. 15 mintues later and two different piles I found my screens. I took them to take to someone else. Not sure whats going on there but completely toxic and unprofessional. I would pay 100 dollars more for each screen to do on site, then to take my business to someone who cant do what they say and act like a madman. read more

Patrick was able to come out very quickly, and not only was he able to fix the door, but was able to upgrade the shoddy work of the handyman who hung it up in the first place. A dear friend of mine who is less handy with home repairs was in desperate need of her bathroom screen remade. Zinc frame was bent and broken, screen mesh was torn. It needed a total remake. Took the screen to Woody's and met Patrick, the owner. He let me know his rates, asked if I had 10 minutes to spare, and then proceeded to build a brand new frame with screen material from scratch! Using the dimensions of the old, bent, broken, and torn screen I brought in-- sure enough he set me up with a brand spankin' new, beautiful, complete window screen in under 10 minutes! Installing it was a breeze, in part because of his precisely honed skillset, and the frame material had a smooth finish which allowed it to slide into place with ease, while still remaining a snug fit to the window. Unfortunately my review and rating is not based on the quality of the work, as nothing was ever done, despite waiting over a month, and listening to endless excuses. I took in a total of five screens; three in perfect condition that I wanted duplicates made in white to match the paint trim of my windows, and two others, one of which needed the screen replaced due to some small holes insects were still getting through, and another that needed to be rebuilt due to damage. This was on Monday, June 1st, and I was told they would be done within a week, he would call me. On Saturday, June 13th, I had yet to be called. I was in the area and decided to stop by and check for a status update. They had yet to be completed, buried in stacked piles of other screens in the workspace. He apologized for not having them completed, said he was a "one man operation," and had been overwhelmed with work. He pulled them and promised he would put me to the front of the line. Now, a month later, I had still yet to be called. I drove there this morning to pick them up, deciding to use the existing four screens that were workable, and not worry about usage of the fifth. Upon arrival, again, more BS apologies, and "I'll have them done by Monday for you." I reminded him this is what he told me two weeks ago. I took the screens and left. I didn't realize until I got back home that he had jammed large holes in ALL of the screens, including the three in perfect condition that I simply wanted in white, and used a piece of old screen in order to tie them all together. Now, a month later, I have nothing. Read and believe the recent reviews of similar experiences. What a total waste of time, and totally unprofessional on top of it. I have an unusual, small and vertical window that needed a custom-made screen. I chose Woody's off of Google maps mainly because of its location and proximity. When I called, I spoke with Jody. She was friendly and knowledgeable and very patient as I re-checked my measurements a few times. Her biggest concern was that I be sure to exact in my calculations to assure the screen would allow enough space to be maneuvered into place. In fact, you had me talk directly to Jeff, who would be fabricating my order. He helped me get the correct dimensions. They didn't want me to have to pay for a screen I couldn't use and then have to order another one. Normally it takes up to a week to fulfill an order, but I was fortunate enough to catch him in a moment between projects and my screen was ready to be picked up one hour later. When I picked up the screen I also enjoyed a very nice conversation with Jody. I also made it a point to thank Jeff. Very nice guy. He told me if the screen were too tight on any side(s) I could bring it back and he could shave it down a bit. When I got home, I was looking forward to finally getting air without bugs, but I couldn't get the screen to fit in. Frustrated, I re-measured the opening again and checked and rechecked the screen dimensions but both seemed accurate. Finally I decided to try putting it in from the outside and sure enough, in less than 30 seconds I had the most perfectly fitting screen I've ever installed. Bravo, Jeff! I highly recommend considering Woody's if you need to have screens made for your house, even if it's just 1 unusual one. read more

We installed our entire home with new windows several years ago. We still love them and have remained in contact with Patrick, the owner. In addition to our windows, we also purchased wooden blinds that have held up over the years extremely well. Recently, one of our larger blinds needed to be restrung. Patrick came by to pick them up, delivered them a week later and only charged us $20 for his time. The vendor actually did the work for free!. As "casual and informal" as Patrick comes across, I find him to be extremely professional, knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile in insure his clients are happy.
