I am so extremely satisfied with Jessica's services that I needed to leave a review immediately (just picked up my pup from getting groomed about 30 minutes ago). I found Jessica through a google search which led me to her yelp page, once I found out more about the services she offered on her site, and that she was nearby I reached out for a quote via yelp. She was very responsive, was able to fit me in within a few days, very straight forward and notified me of what to expect and arriving before the appt to complete paperwork & review the groom service. I took Lucky in this morning, was greeted immediately, checked in and after Jessica assessed Lucky's condition she notified me that he had very matted fur and what she could do/not do depending on the severity of the fur once she started with the grooming, and what to expect from the groom. I like that she thoroughly informed me of the situation, what my options were and that it would cost more due to the added work to de-matt him and the sensitivities that lucky could experience so she would have to be even more meticulous with the grooming. I picked him up in 2.5 hours and she went though how he needed to be shaven all around because of how matted his fur was, where he could experience irritation (what else to expect) and if I need to take him to the vet due to further irritation because of the condition of his skin from the matted fur. Overall I was floored by her knowledge but also very personable nature (something I have not experienced with a previous groomer). I'm so much more informed (as I had inherited lucky and am a new pet owner, so still learning). She even honored the price she had originally quoted me at which I thought was extremely generous given the nature of the groom. I was originally recommended Jessica's dad from a teacher of mine but due to him needing surgery he recommended his daughter, and I could not have been happier. I had a 8 month old puppy who had a huge listening problem, he would bark at every dog that he saw and he would never listen to me. Due to me going back to college in Arizona, Jessica worked with me for 7 sessions, twice a week and Kylo changed drastically. I was looking for some help for our family and our new addition Parker. Parker was adopted from a foster family and we did some training from what we could get from Youtube and other sources. Parker did great, but we needed something more to help with reinforcing some of the training and help with getting along with Parker's feline sister. We asked Google for some recommendations, and a lot of the information from various trainers just seemed overwhelming. We stopped by Yelp, read some reviews, and visited the website and asked for an appointment. Jessica quickly responded and asked what we wanted to work on and scheduled us right away. We were fortunate to get an earlier appointment due to a cancellation. Jessica arrived a few minutes early and we got to work right away. Jessica asked us what we really wanted to focus on and from there developed the training around our feedback. She was patient and answered all our questions along the way. Even more important to us was that Parker took to the training and Jessica. Parker never once felt or looked uncomfortable and turned out to be a very positive experience for him. Wait there's more, while Parker was taking to the training and getting more comfortable in his new home. This then presented a new potty challenge in the house. We needed help again and reached out to Jessica to comeback out to help us once again. We went over some exercises, but more importantly Jessica observed what we were doing with some commands and corrections and gave us pointers to improve upon. That night when I took Parker for a walk, complete 180, he was not darting out, pulling or tugging. We walked together and seems less of a chore and a chance for the family to spend time with him when we take him out. Parker also seems to know when we ask him, "Let's go potty?" Jessica is great at what she does and it shows. I know our family has benefited from Jessica's training. Definitely an added bonus when Jessica came back a second time and provided additional feedback to improve what we already had.
