It's been 5 years since the last time I came but always remembered their excellent work. Took a while to make an appt since they are always booked. The front desk staffs are very helpful and easy to communicate with by text or email. On the day of the appt, I met with the Hygienist, Karen. She was as nice as can be, so patient as she explained to me why they needed to do the xray photos. She was so careful and thorough as she told me the process. Dr Walsh came in after the photos being taken and checked my teeth and gym health. She also took her time to let me know how to care for my teeth like using the right floss and threader for my retainer parts of my teeth, water pik etc. They are both great at listening and giving suggestions. I was supposed to come back for cleaning in Dec but they were able to send me a couple of earlier dates so I can come in earlier. I came in yesterday for my regular cleaning and met with Robin, she is the hygienist for my cleaning. It was the best cleaning experience EVEr!!! She is very experienced and caring! The whole process took about 40 mins or so I think, never once felt pain and it was done with so much care! I had been having allergies so I told her I would be coughing every now and then. She would pause every time and ask me to swallow and have some water during the process. My stains on my teeth were gone and they looked so polished! Thank you so much for taking your time and being patient with me. I cannot wait for my 6 months cleaning again. Thank you Robin, Dr Walsh, Karen and The team!!!

Got told THROUGH TEXT my appointment was cancelled due to not paying and not having records from 8 YEARS AGO. Shouldn't this have been told me when I made the appointment? Now I'm out an appointment AGAIN. I get it. Ok. Got records from old place. Still won't make me an appointment because the dates were not on the paper work. BUT TOOK MY 50 DOLLARS - and all because they couldn't see the dates on the paperwork?? You have my records and my money. Ok. Called old dentist office back and said they didn't send what they need. (dun dun) TREATMENT DAY!…read moreThey actually called me the afternoon before my scheduled visit, they had a cancellation and wanted to know if I would like to come in sooner! *gulp!* initially I declined, but quickly decided to call them back and accept the earlier appointment. I arrived, shaking, nervous as heck! The receptionists and other staff members could tell I was afraid, and greeted me with warm smiles and tried to reassure me! My original dental assistant was there, Rebecca. She did a very good job of trying to calm my nerves, and it was reassuring that she was going to be there. I was having a root canal and I had never had anything like that done before, of course you ask people about them and you always ask the people that have had, unfortunately horrific experiences! My anxiousness was complete anticipation of the unknown! Dr Imanian and Rebecca worked very well together, they made sure I was ok throughout the whole procedure. I didn't feel a thing except TMJ pain from trying to keep my mouth open, next time I will take some nsaids before hand! Dr Galanis popped in a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. He also made sure I was ok after the procedure. The whole entire team was wonderful! I really can't say enough about them! I'm really glad I chose BVD to be my dental office!

Puts you at easy right away. Next, staff is wonderful! Office manager Jason is warm, caring, knows his craft and keeps the office running like clock work! Hygienist Dina balances her sweet disposition with the most gentle touch. Dr. Bankhead is the best dentist I've ever had. He is a pleasure to see. I require frequent visits and actually look forward to going as I always feel better afterwards. I've never experienced any pain...almost fell asleep a few times on the chair. The service is obviously paramount for this office as is their I.T. relativity. Everything is automated and current. I get automated and personal reminders making it easy to remember appts. And their medical equipment is top notch and rivals any large company. I've been a customer for about 5 years and can only say great things about this business. Jason, who runs the office, is the most efficient and thorough office manager I've met at any business. He always makes sure I know everything I need to (even tracking down info I might need to know from my insurance) before we have any procedure. He never lets me miss my appointments (and I am a notorious flake when it comes to that). We've been bringing our son since he was old enough to need cleanings, too. It's just one of those places you know you can trust.

Rita, my dental hygienist is amazing, it has NEVER been uncomfortable or feel like it's taking forever when she cleans my teeth. Everyone is always so incredibly nice and you can see they really work as a team. I had an emergency this past weekend and was able to reach out, got a quick call back from Dr. Samantha Ward, got an appointment the next day, met with her and some other team members and figured out the problem and took steps to get a casting done asap for a mouth guard. I would highly recommend the office to everyone! They also seem to take all different types of insurance which was good because I didn't have the best when I first went.

When I returned, they took an X-ray to address their mistake and then charged me $200 for it. The tooth still bothers me to this day. More recently, I was told they accepted my new insurance, had work done, and was later charged $500 because they "never accepted" it--despite admitting they knew that beforehand. They told me I was out of luck and that they don't work with my insurance because situations like this happen. On top of that, my dentist was switched to her sister without my knowledge, and after a routine filling I was in pain for weeks. Overall, this office is dishonest and I would not trust them
