The atmosphere is very clean and noticed an air purifier in every single room which depicts the type of environment it is. From a technological standpoint, the facility is pretty tech savvy. The equipment used is unlike what I have seen in other dental offices that is for sure. During my operation, Dr. Picard was very knowledgeable as he was explaining to the assistant what they were doing and why as a learning opportunity which is great. I started to have a steady toothache and they offered to see me that afternoon. I put it off because it was responding to ibuprofen and Orajel. The office would be closed for two weeks. Went today, they were very attentive and gave me a temporary solution to my toothache. I have a temporary crown and I am to call if the pain gets worse but to call on Thursday with an update. That is why I switched, With this dental office, I was clear that my insurance was to be used and they are an in network dentist. They affirmed this. However, they set me up with a dentist that is not in network and waiting for certification. Thus, my claim was denied.They set me up with a Dr. that wasn't certified by Dominion. I had no idea until I got the denial in the mail. This will hopefully be reversed, but in the meantime they have been no help nor do they care. Most importantly is that I was there because they told me they took my insurance. The office said the Dr. was certified and the insurance company told me she was not. I do not recommend this office. They were not helpful in all this. Opposite. Their office evidently doesn't know who is certified and who isn't. This is an 'in network' office. They hung up on me when I repeatedly asked to talk to the manager. That's all I wanted. They would not do it. This office led me astray. One of the worst medical experience of my 75 years. Dentist was great but the organization leaves a lot to be desired. Evidently this dentist was also waiting for certification from Dominion Insurance. I feel I was taken advantage of. More recently, I was told they accepted my new insurance, had work done, and was later charged $500 because they "never accepted" it--despite admitting they knew that beforehand. They told me I was out of luck and that they don't work with my insurance because situations like this happen.
