Bummer, the large cheese pizzas are now $6.95, I might have gone for a fourth star if they were still five bucks. Walking up to the door, it was tough to tell if they were actually open or not. The boarded up Chinese take out and people working on the roof didn't make me feel any better. We walked in to an empty dining area of about six tables, and only the guy behind the counter. If not for my hungry five year old, I may have just turned around. At her request, we ordered a personal pizza and french fries and grabbed a table. We watched some TV while we wait for our order. We hang out and people watch, there's actually quite a few people walking in, which makes me feel better. About 15 minutes after we ordered, our food was ready. The fries were way more then my child could have eaten on her own and were actually quite tasty. The pizza (just cheese) was actually OK, nothing that blew my door off, but still better then a lot of others in the area. Another place that has helped convince me that standard takeout pizza places in Central Mass can be more than mediocre. Its not quite NY style, but the crust is on the thinner side. The Buffalo chicken pizza is top notch, they actually put a decent amount of Franks on it. They also introduced me to fried zucchini sticks, which taste a lot like mozz sticks when dipped in sauce, but are definitely less bad for you. If you live anywhere near Clark, this is a good option. read more

I highly recommend staying very far away from this place. The first time we ordered stuff was absolutely amazing every other time after that just went downhill. I'm also ordering pizza and getting calzones and being told to go f ourselves when asked to fix it, as well as asking for chicken parm and getting a chicken grinder and being told to deal with it. They serve raw food and their customer service absolutely stinks. Some of the rudest people I've ever encountered. When im first ordering from a place, i try a small cheese. Its shocking how many places ive never returned to, based on that. When i arrived, one of the cooks said he wasnt happy w how it came out and and already put in a new one. Didnt look bad but i took his word for it. Delicious! Ordered through Grubhub and it came within an hour on a Sunday night. It was hot still. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce was sweet. The dough was super tasty- I usually skip the crust but this crust was too good! The fries were good but the to-go box should have some vent holes in it so they don't get too soggy. I gave this place a shot last week and was happy with the results. I try to order the same basic items by delivery from each place to make the comparisons easier. 1) Wings: Previously frozen, breaded crud like 90% of the places. 2) BLT sub: Very good, lots of bacon, nice crunchy lettuce and a super crusty roll. Just the right amount of mayo, too. 3) Pizza: Good thickness, doneness and chew on the crust, sauce was a bit sweet but not overly so, and there were tons of toppings. This bad boy was totally covered in black olives. Delivery took about an hour on a Saturday afternoon and the prices are competitive. This place will be added to my regular rotation! read more

I've had Worcester Pizza Factory a few times now and still am not impressed. My fiancé seems to enjoy their pizza but I don't. Weird flavor in the sauce, and I've tried their salads which are bland and come with no veggies besides lettuce. I probably won't be spending my money here anymore.. Also notice how every reviewer that's boasting 5 stars are relatively new to Yelp and only have a few (if not only one-Worcester Pizza Factory) reviews written.. smells fishy to me. Quality ingredients, the crust is perfect (a good contrast of crispy and soft), lots of options. Found this place online and the pictures looked good so my girlfriend and I tried them out. Upon driving up it didn't have much if much curb appeal but it was clean and we'll kept inside. I pulled up their Facebook and asked them if they still made The Fat Worcester sandwich. A steak and cheese with fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken fingers inside. The guy at the counter never heard of it so I can only guess they stopped making it when it came under new management. He went over and asked the owner and said he'll make it for me no problem. My girlfriend ordered a small Garbage Pile pizza. Essentially a Works pizza. We also got an order of Garlic Knots. They brought out the food and everything looked great. My sandwich was a generous size, and tasted delicious. I will probably be ordering it again as my usual. The pizza was a good gold color and the crust was perfect. The Garlic Knots we yummy and could have easily been shared between 4-5 people. Overall the experience was great and there isn't much I can complain about other than the fact they are closed Sundays. The food was great, and the prices were cheap. Probably too cheap for their own good. My sandwich was only $7 and my girlfriend's pizza was only $7 for a small specialty pizza. The Garlic Knots, which came with a surprising 10, were only $6. I'd like the option to get 5 for $3. All in all the bill came to about $25 for a good amount of food with some left to bring home. This is a great hardy America pizza joint for a greasy galore of palate pleasing pizza. They have all the appropriate pizza appetizers, such as onion rings, mozzarella sticks, garlic balls and bread and more. They also provide an interesting selection of pizzas with exotic combinations of flavors and ingredients. If I could describe The Brick Oven Pizza in two words, I would be confident to say "pizza mecca." Before they came, Worcester was a desert, in my own snobby opinion of being self-appointed pizza connoisseur of my generation, of a decent fix for my cheesy delight - however, The Brick Oven Pizza does more than act as a fix, it has become my preferred pizza compared to the "legends" that have existed along the North Shore where I'm from. The cheese pizza is perfect (I do not get much else on my pizza, I am a purist,) I find the case with most pizza places that you either like their sauce or their cheese more - The Brick Oven Pizza is both of best worlds, no longer will you have to sit there scratching your head on what you think you like better. The menu here is extensive, but not unlike any other pizza shop, they just installed a new hang-up menu that's very nice to look at, and really pulls the place together. From people I've gone with, they tend to rave about the 'buffaque' pizza - have fun with their menu, they have so many toppings and will make what you want to order, given you are within reason... Wow!! Finally a great pizza place in Worcester!! It just didn't seem right that with all of the colleges in the area, there wouldn't be a true go-to pizza place in the area...until now. I used to order from Fantastic Pizza or if it was late, Dominos, but they both pale in comparison to Brick Oven. Don't get me started on the most overrated pizza place in history, Blue Jeans...ugh. My girlfriend and I ordered the eggplant and ricotta pizza which was cooked to perfection. It's tough to get the breaded eggplant right but they succeeded with flying colors. Crust was excellent with a little bit of crisp but not at all burnt. I liked it so much i chose to get a Buffalo chicken calzone for the road. Their calzones are not only excellent but also MASSIVE. I'm a big-time eater and that single calzone was able to be spread over 3 meals. Right next to the Blarney Stone on Maywood and right off of Park Ave., it's easy to find and also...$5 large cheese all day every day!!! Are you kidding me?? Too bad Brick Oven Pizza wasn't open when i went to school over there...well, maybe that's a good thing as all my extra money would've probably gone toward getting more pizza. Just moved to the area. I tried the brick oven specialty cheese pizza. Great choice. No complaints and very tasty. The garlic rolls (shaped like pretzels) were good. I've tried their calzones and they are good and oh so filling. I just tried 2 different pizzas today (fresh way pizza and chicken broccoli Alfredo pizza) and they were super good. I cannot fault the food or the prices. Next time I'll have to try something other than the pizzas and calzones. read more

Admittedly, I am a pizza snob... For me, it's New York style all the way. I can't get down with the awful New England style pan pizza that every town's "House of Pizza & Subs" serves up -- greasy cake-like circles of hot trash. I used to have to drive to Boston to get good pizza at Regina's or Santarpio's. I still take trips to Pizza Mecca (aka Brooklyn, NY) at least once a year. But now... I've finally found the BEST PIZZA in Worcester. This is New York style pizza with a crispy yet chewy crust, big slices, and fresh toppings. I highly recommend the classic Margherita with fresh basil. My girlfriend tried the BBQ Chicken and it was phenomenal as well. I'm more of a pizza purist, but even the specialty pizzas loaded with toppings had me going. They recently added stromboli to the menu and it's just as excellent as the pizza and calzones. The guys there are friendly and hard-working. I think the owner was out of town when I stopped by. There were two guys running the show and they were good people. I cannot speak for their delivery service since I live on the other side of Worcester, I just do take-out and it's always great. I highly recommend this place if you're into New York style brick oven pizza. read more

I was wary about this place at first since it was cheap and very close to a college (Clark U), but it's actually pretty great pizza that's all together too uncommon around here. It's a nice thinner crust which I like. Pro tip - try the chicken broccoli Alfredo pizza. It's addicting! Also their chicken parm grinders are mouth watering. They did everything the way I wanted, they made is with regular pizza sauce and also added some fresh basil on top. The problem is that I love the pizza at this place. I legitimately think it's some of the best pizza in the area. However, tonight it took 2 1/2 hours for my food to get to me. I called after an hour and a half and the guy recited my order back to me before I had the chance to and told me he didn't see the ticket or the pizza and that it must've gone out. After another half hour, I called back and no one seemed to know about my order so I had to give my order again but I got a white pizza rather than one with red sauce. That part was probably my fault because i was frustrated after so long and I forgot to specify even though it was on my original order. The issue is that each of the last 3 or 4 times I've ordered, I've waited a minimum of an hour and a half. I don't know if it's worth it to wait so long for pizza. I would definitely recommend it if maybe you go for pick up or eat in. But I might think twice about ordering delivery, especially from their website. read more

If your in the area and hungry come to the worcester pizza factory. 5 dollar cheese pizza, great deal and a great pizza. But don't look past all the other specialty pizzas they offer I can't really go into detail about all of them I'll get to carried away. Subs salads and pastas too extremely good. This is a small place gets pretty busy sometimes a little backed up too. But the owner mike doesn't mess around when it comes to his shop. I will always give brick oven five stars! One of the main reasons is the owners devotion to his craft. He never serves something that is sub par. If an ingredient is not the freshest he will tell you. This may cause a slight inconvenience if you had your heart set on a particular meal but it's the honesty that I admire.
