I even tried a chiropractor in Frisco who had Saturday hours. Work was slow on Thanksgiving Week, and I was able to drive down to see Dr Black - he adjusted me a few times and the pain went from an 8 down to a 2. Sadly Chiro appointments aren't covered for me right now, so I won't be enjoying the benefits of adjustments just yet, but in the meantime I have to review the incredible massage I received from Taylor (I hope I remembered his name correctly). I have the stiffest IT bands and my glutes have been constantly under fire ever since taking up so much cardio. He specifically focused on those areas and beyond just massaging them, he really stretched me out which I was very much in need of - I left feeling great. Of course I love massages, but for some reason I've never been a huge fan of professional ones - usually I just feel awkward having a stranger rub me, but mostly because I don't feel like they heal or soothe me (even when I request deep tissue). Taylor gave me exactly what I needed - a deep stretch and lots of pressure and it was a really good experience. The office itself is one of the nicest I've ever seen (I've seen my fair share). They seem to have all the latest equipment, it's spacious and staff is very friendly.
