She ended up seeming annoyed with our questions. It's important to note that if you choose to paint pottery you will not be able to take it home that day. So if you do not live in or close to Pflugerville, I'd choose a different project. One person with us did choose pottery and it ended up being a huge inconvenience to get back to Pflugerville.

This is for the framing center. Two stars for the store in general. Zero stars for framing…read more We've literally framed thousands of dollars at Michaels. Not this one. Dropped off a custom commissioned drawing. It is irreplaceable. That went well. In three weeks got an email to pick it up. Just kidding. The framer quit and as a parting gift notified all clients, done or not, to get their framing projects. Jokes on us. Fast forward six weeks and still waiting. Tried to call multiple times and when you select the option for a representative it immediately hangs up. As if someone picks up the phone and puts it back down. Waited another week and went in. It was lost. They found the physical picture in a stack. Nothing in the computer. Manager shows and it is found. Beyond frustrating given the past experience at a Michaels elsewhere. Harsh words exchanged and refund given. Stepped over the children rolling around the floor by the bathroom, never to return. Quite honestly they are probably relieved.

A BRAND NEW HOBBY LOBBY in Stone Hill! It is tucked away…read morenear the Home Depot but there is plenty of parking space. It is clean, and neat, stocked to the brim with everything you could ever want. The staff was very friendly, lots of bright and welcoming faces. I'm so excited for a new store- I love coming here for crafting items, home decor, and the occasional toy for my toddler. There is such a wide variety of items at Hobby Lobby you could easily get lost in the store for hours. My favorite thing about Hobby Lobby is the rotation of sales. Sometimes I go in to purchase something when it's not on sale so I just hold off until the next week and I get that discount. It makes crafting and decorating so much more affordable than other stores. I am so excited to have a store closer to home I might have to pick up a new hobby.

I could be wrong, but I have noticed some of the big chain businesses in Pflugerville are a little bit smaller compared to most of the big cities in Texas. My experience here the first time was smooth and fast. My wife and I came here for some Christmas decorations. Needless to say when we shop together we have the same type of buying taste most of the time. The service of the front desk is pretty fast when busy or slow. All the staff have greeted me with a smile and ask how I am doing as I walk into the store and when I am shopping around. As another elite Yelper stated in their review this store stays stocked and has a great selection to choose from and value of their deals/sales for the products are not bad at all. Parking here isn't too bad at all. Getting into and out of the parking lot is a bit challenging due to the Stone Hill shopping center's layout of back to back intersections. Overall, I enjoy my shopping experiences here and I look forward to many more.

I was building a retirement plaque for one of the most respected Chiefs I've ever worked for and needed help engraving a logo that Chief had originally designed years ago. Without hesitation, Sandy said yes. What started as a simple CNC engraving project quickly turned into something much more. Sandy opened the doors to the shop, welcomed me in, and made me feel like part of the team from day one. He and Gus generously shared their knowledge, answered countless questions, and spent hours helping bring this project to life. As if that wasn't enough, Sandy and Gus also built two additional gifts for the Chief's retirement. Those projects took many hours of their personal time, yet they never asked for anything in return. Their generosity, craftsmanship, and willingness to help are truly rare! The customer service at Woodcraft is second to none. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping others succeed. Whether you're a seasoned woodworker or just getting started, this is the kind of place that makes you want to learn more and keep coming back. Then, it happened: the cashier, who was clearly not having a good day, did nothing more than mumble my total when I checked out and then was downright nasty to my sister to the point that she asked her if she was ok as the girl scanned her purchases. The question seemed to exacerbate the bad mood, so we just walked away. She very obviously did NOT want to be there. Talk about a mood killer! I was so bothered by the interaction that I called the manager from the parking lot, who seemed pleasant on the surface but obviously just wanted me off the phone and seemed put out that he had to take a customer call. I told him what happened, explained that I'm sure she didn't really mean harm, but that he had a clearly upset employee in the most customer facing role in the store. I thought maybe if he knew, he'd want to do something else with her time while she was in such a bad state that day. I don't know what action he took, if any, but I did try to help. This was disappointing, but it won't stop me from going back into HL, which is one of my favorite places in the world. It definitely gave me pause and makes me wonder what she must have been going through that day to be in such a horrible mood. Also, I might check out the location in Georgetown, instead.

The staff member who helped me was super cool and really understanding about my budget--I didn't want to spend a ton. He made thoughtful suggestions and even brought out visuals so I could actually see what he was describing, which I really appreciated. They called me first thing Monday morning (right after the holidays!) to let me know it was ready for pickup. When I went to grab it, I was blown away--it looks fantastic! I'll definitely be back if I need anything else framed. Highly recommend!
