We did a 12 person team bonding event here for my daughter's club volleyball team. It was perfect! The owner was kind and helpful throughout the process. We had the room that was part of the expansion and could bring in our own snacks. The girls picked the item of their choice to paint and then I picked them all up a few days later. We've done even more painting here and hosted yet another birthday party with Miss Willie. She's a former teacher and veteran. She is so great with my children and her staff is so, so kind and helpful. We spend countless hours here making special art for our home and gifts for others. We have bonded so much within the walls of Ceramics N More because we paint and chat the hours away. We're always anxious to go back! This last week we painting on Sunday and had our items fired and ready to go home just a couple of days later. Such a fast turnaround too! read more

Ceramics and Moore turned out to be a great place to go to do a fun activity while catching up with my friend. The spot is on a cute little stretch of pecan Street and Pflugerville. It has good parking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful when I arrived. There was only one other table with people at it but shortly after I got there, groups started coming in despite it getting quite busy the staff we're still attentive to my friend and I Stopping by to replace the water we used to clean our brushes, answering questions and providing guidance. I noticed that they offer classes for kids and classes for adults, especially around throwing pottery, but I love the ease of just picking a piece of pottery and painting it anyway you want I definitely recommend this for small and larger groups. read more

Above and beyond levels of customer service! Merely adequate facilities though. I've been a fan of paint-your-own ceramics since I was a child, so every once and awhile I get a wild hair to go paint what ultimately amounts to a pretty space-waster, LOL. Just calling it what it is. But it is a relaxing way to spend a day. Hobby-judgements aside, I had purchased an inordinate amount of ceramic ornaments on the cheap from Joann, and called this place up to inquire about their policy regarding bringing your own ceramics to paint rather than purchasing at the store. The proprietor stated that she would have to take a look at the piece to determine for sure if it would be safe in her kiln. Fair enough, completely understandable. So we brought 'em over. Her assessment was uncertainty but willingness to give it a shot. So she had us paint just a couple (out of the nearly two dozen I had, LOL) to give it a trial run and had us fill out a contact form so she could text us with the results. We crossed our fingers and waited. She got back to us two days later, which was quite speedy, imo! They turned out great! We just picked them up today. She only had us pay the studio fee AFTER pick-up. Honestly we were expecting to have to pay upfront. It was very kind of her to make this accommodation for us. Now we have the go-ahead to do the rest! When we find time to get around to it, that is... haha. Now as for why I can't give 5-stars even though I really want to. =( Because obviously, the customer service was stellar, but there's more to a business than how customers are treated-- it's also about the quality of product/experience you receive. This shop has a pretty small footprint... so tables are a bit crammed together and there aren't many places to sit. I think the backroom might serve as an area for a party if you had a group bigger than four. There aren't a lot of items to chose from. Not a problem for me having brought in my own, but of course I browsed around because I couldn't help myself, and I didn't see much that snagged my interest. There were a fair number of leftover Christmas seasonal offerings, though no discount on them yet. The variety of paint colors, quality of brushes, and quantity of other helpful items (like vinyl tape or stencils) were a bit lacking compared to other such shops I've been to in other areas of the country. About a quarter of the shop looks like its dedicated to some other glasswork craft. Really, it's all a lack of space issue, so I'm sympathetic. You have to work with what you have. And I really respect the shop owner, who was being so kindly to all the patrons inside and encouraging the children and complimenting the painters. A bathroom is available in the back, which is a good thing since you typically end up spending multiple hours in a place like this getting your piece perfect! read more

I went there with a couple friends. This was my first time I have ever painted ceramics. It was a lot of fun. The owner and other employee were both very nice helping me decide . There is quite a selection of holiday items and items that can be used throughout the year. The price includes the cost of the item you select , paint , and firing. Prices range from $10 on up.
