You will need to be present for all of their work. They WILL cut corners if you're not hawk eyed correcting what they are doing. They will also overcharge for "dumping" and removing a root my wife already mostly removed. They were never authorized to remove the root for $475 when my landscaper said it should only cost $200, I only asked how much they would charge IF my landscaper couldn't do it, I never gave them the final OK, they just ASSUMED. Also EMILIO will charge you for a tiny bit extra concrete, they say it was 2 yards, I know for a fact CEMEX didn't charge them for an extra 2 yards.. EMILIO is rarely on site and doesn't understand that drawings can be wrong, the driveway has to lineup with the joints or it looks stupid, and the curve should look right (not according to a stupid plan) but they don't really care, it's not their driveway... anyway. 2 stars for at least completing the job on time, mostly to spec after many corrections. don't believe anything they respond here.

Both were subpar. There are over 20 people in my neighborhood with the same complaints. DO NOT USE S&S Paving and Asphalt! They did a terrible…read morepoor-quality job and have made no effort to correct the issue. They came and gave me an offer of $5,500 to complete my driveway. We discussed the scope of the work to include: * remove existing asphalt and base layer and putting in a new base then asphalt * raise the height of the asphalt so water will not pool The work is completed and water puddles over an inch deep in the driveway. They did not raise the height of the driveway and is below the grass. They did not remove existing material and lay down a new base layer. The asphalt is so thin grass is growing threw it. There is a large noticeable hump in one place because they did not properly prep the surface. Once the job was completed, they asked for $8,000. I previously left a review that was negative but the owner called and asked that I remove the review in exchange for them correcting all the issues. I did remove the review; they never came out to resolve the issues and now they are now not responding to calls or text. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
