My husband had such a good experience that when a coworker, waited until the last minute for the deadline, and got the same treatment at the place he was told to go as my husband (went in the morning "no appointments for today.") I had a very disappointing experience at AIMS Urgent Care…read more Before arriving, I completed my registration and insurance information online because I wanted to be seen as quickly as possible. When I got there at 6pm, I was asked to fill out additional paperwork, and then I was told they didn't accept my insurance--even though I had already submitted it online and everything appeared to be approved. The nurse who took my vitals seemed rushed and inattentive. She had trouble getting my temperature to register multiple times. I overheard her tell a coworker that the thermometer wasn't working, but instead of using another thermometer or trying a different method, she recorded my temperature as 98°F even though I had been running a fever since the night before. That was very concerning to me. Both the nurse and the doctor were dismissive throughout my visit. When I tried explaining all of my symptoms, I felt like neither of them was really listening. The doctor spoke very quickly, spent very little time with me, and ordered a rapid strep test. While I waited, I could hear staff at the front desk laughing and talking while I sat in the exam room waiting for results. Instead of the doctor coming back to explain my diagnosis or answer any questions, someone from the front desk came into my room and simply told me I was free to leave and that my results would be emailed to me. I was told I would be prescribed antibiotics, but no one explained what medication I was receiving or discussed my diagnosis in person. I was also told my prescription would be ready in about 40 minutes, but it wasn't available until around 9:00 p.m. The following day, I called to request a doctor's note because I was still very sick. I was told they could only provide documentation saying I had been seen, not a note addressing work restrictions. Given my symptoms and diagnosis, I asked whether they could provide documentation supporting time off while I was contagious, but they declined. I also asked if they could email the note since I was ill and trying to avoid going out again, but they refused and told me I would have to come pick it up in person. Overall, I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and frustrated. My concerns weren't taken seriously, communication was poor, and the level of care I received did not meet my expectations. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in patient communication and attentiveness.

The representative was rude, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to my needs. I suspect that since all of my relevant information was in front of the representative, my poor treatment was likely due to the organization's culture toward people of color. I called to schedule a heart procedure. The representative kept me on hold for nearly 10 minutes and only offered an appointment more than three months away. Call me crazy, but a heart procedure is serious and should be scheduled within less than three months. When I asked for her name, she gave it and then abruptly hung up. I called back to speak with her supervisor, but I was placed directly on hold. This happened three times. On the fourth try, I finally spoke with a new representative, but when I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was placed on hold for more than five minutes. When the representative returned, I was told the supervisor was too busy but would try to reach out the next day. I contacted the ombudsman, but they weren't much help either. I was given the runaround. Bottom line: be very cautious of Sutter Health. It seems that the organization's culture prioritizes revenue from monthly premiums over genuine patient care, especially for patients of color.

The front desk person was professional, attentive, and friendly. The location is convenient with easy access to the freeways as well as other stores. I arrived shortly after they opened on a weekday and was fortunate to be seen within a few minutes. The medical assistant and the physician assistant were both wonderful. It was a relief to be treated with such care and consideration. I also appreciated how they took the time to listen to me as well as explain what they could and could not do. They did not rush which made me feel more comfortable being in their care. When I arrived, I could not hear out of one ear and the other ear was slightly clogged. They clearly communicated what they were going to do beforehand and also what I could expect. They were gentle in evaluating my ears and irrigating them. They knew I had just been to the doctor the previous day and had a painful experience resulting in inflammation in one ear. I appreciated their empathy. I would highly recommend this urgent care!

This new location, is also a brand new building over in the Arden/Cal expo area. It's literally right down the street from costco, and wedge between a state department building and other medical buildings. The Urgent Care moved from their old location on Alhambra, along with some other Sutter clinics into the brand new building. Urgent Care can be rather tricky. It's pretty much walk-in and sit and wait. Timing is everything. The seating area is oddly shaped, but plenty of spacious. The patient rooms are kind of cool. They have those sliding barn doors, and the rooms are bigger than they were at the old location. I was pretty much in and out in under an hour, which is pretty amazing! Dr. David was great; he had a great bedside manner, and took care of me and my head cold perfectly. There's plenty of free parking, which wasn't available at the old location. They've only been open for six months, and it really is a lovely facility

Parking here is relatively easy to find as the dedicated lot is spacious enough to accommodate a few dozen vehicles at any given time. Their hours are also quite reasonable as they are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm while being closed on weekends. My most recent visit was during the morning of Friday 12/11/2025 at around 9:00am. I checked in one day prior on the My Health Online app through Sutter Health which was a very seamless process as they had a ton of open timeslots available. After entering the facility, you make an immediate walk to the right, sign-in, and wait (which was less than 5 minutes). And since this was for Lab bloodwork, I made sure they did a Lipid (cholesterol level) profile, comprehensive metabolic panel, prostate antigen test, and complete blood cell count. Once I was seen by a medical specialist, they checked my vitals (heart & blood pressure) and weight. Since I fasted 12 hours prior to coming here, I got a syringe in my left arm (which was just a slight "pinch") and was on my way. Total time from when I arrived to when I exited the building was less than 10 minutes. Overall, the front desk staff and nurses were all very friendly and accommodating. All in all, the "Sutter Medical Plaza Greenback Lab" was a fairly positive experience with no hiccups or issues. My rating, an above average four stars.

(helps to have an extra copy just incase your employer needs it/ anything like that) the whole process time is effective and professional. they are payient with you and help to make sure you have everything completed correctly. definitely recommend!!!!!!!
