RAD Testing and Mobile Collections is a facility in the Quest Diagnostics network located closest…read moreto me, although alternate sites listed included ARCpoint Labs, Collection Plus, and actual Quest Diagnostics locations. Was sent in for pre-employment drug screening. Drug screen hours are 9am-4pm M-F. 2.5 stars. I've seen better (have gone to actual Quest labs and Dignity Health before for these things), but overall OK. The other reviews so far are either only 1 star or 5, and I was wary before choosing this site, so I'll throw in my two cents. Easy enough to find, in a business park past the KAIA Fit, parking spaces fine. RAD? More like sad little office, not sure if it's the building's actual age or just the decor/lighting. The waiting room wooden chairs were creaky and the doors to the rooms were squeaky too (the girl apologized for this). Fake plants, some magazines on a table at the center of the waiting area. Staring at the dull gray carpet too long will start to suck at your soul. The brunette checked me in no problem, I brought the necessary ID and printed barcoded form for the clipboard so just had to wait my turn. One person ahead of me and one after, around 10am on a Tuesday. The guy behind the window didn't interact with donors at all, mostly on the computer. The guy ahead of me was provided cups of water, I presume he didn't drink enough the first time or had to go again for a second time. Only one bathroom which meant longer wait. Shylo was my collector. In the front room you lock up your belongings, remove items from pockets, outer clothing layers, etc. in a wooden box and verify information on the tablet. That room also seemed to be used for storage of boxes of Quest supplies and was immediately to the left of entrance accessible directly from the waiting room. The process was fine, washing hands observed and seat cover offered, no TP. Cup had no lid as it would be transferred to the smaller tubes and signed off and sent to the lab (this is strictly a collection site). Sample/specimens had to be the right temperature, color, odor (seriously?). Results in a few days usually. Chain of custody form donor copy available via printout, email or text. I did feel like I was there at least 20-30 minutes though. Not rapid like their name says. Strangely semi-professional at best I would call it.

Tori is amazing! I've been using her for seven months now and appreciate her so much. She is always…read morepunctual, communicative, efficient, and well prepared. She checks with the labs to make sure she has the correct tubes as the tests I tend to need are very rare and complicated. I have really tough veins to the point that many times they've had to use ultrasound to find a vein, she's never had difficulty. As someone still in isolation/very high risk, being able to get lab work safely is such a sigh of relief. She is really respectful of that, wears an N95 and will do whatever I need to stay safe. Highly highly recommend!

Satori came to my home for my lab tests…read more She was prompt and in good communication - texting and phoning. She has a relaxed easy manner, and even my yappy mini schnauzer loved her. My medical practitioner chose Hands of Care for the blood draws, because she knows that Satori is skilled at gathering, documenting and sending in your lab specimens with integrity. And at a very reasonable price. She was well gloved and masked and in lab uniform. She used a foam arm ramp .... The first time I have seen this kind of arm support , which stabilized my arm with the perfect support and made the entire procedure go flawlessly, with no problems.... Though there were ten tubes drawn ... this entire procedure only took a couple of minutes ..... The ramp is a very nice touch!, Satori! I barely felt anything. She posted all the lab tests for me. Best phlebotomist, ever! I would call Hands of Care, again, Jessica Denning

ZERO stars. She stuck me twice and couldn't get it done. Because of her incompetence, I was referred to their Scripps location where I had a completely different experience! Tae B. was kind, patient and caring. She made sure I was comfortable (I'm a hard stick and I HATE getting my labs done) and gave me all the tricks of the trade on how to make future blood draws a positive experience. She went out of her way to reassure me and she is excellent at her job. I felt a tiny pinch, but no pain. The gentleman at the desk was a hoot as well. He made jokes and it seemed like he understood that blood draws cause anxiety for some. The whole experience was easy going even though I was a bundle of nerves. I won't forget how I was made to feel at this location. I was filled to the brim with anxiety and Tae made me feel seen. She said she's been a phlebotomist for over 20 years. It was a great experience. Thank you Tae.

BEST Labcorp operation in their system. From check-in to the blood draw, everything runs smoothly…read more There are a lot of people needing labs, so I recommend making an appointment online. The online appointment process is simple & you can check-in virtually from the parking lot. One if their greatest assets is the technician who checks you in (haven't got his name). He is very friendly, kind, tries to make you smile, and super helpful. When the other technicians are busy, he also steps away to draw blood as well. He is very skilled and makes the entire process a breeze. I actually look forward to coming back whenever labs may be due again. I've been to other LabCorp locations in CA and AZ, and can affirm that this location at 1 Scripps Drive is the best. Their operations & genuine friendly care for patients should be replicated throughout the LabCorp network. Kudos LabCorp!!

I told her I chose this one because it's cleaner, friendly and less crowded. Well our experience today confirmed my position in choosing this location. We were helped by a young man named Miguel who was kind, caring, attentive, and patient. We did not have our typical Jack in the box drive thru experience as we usually do at our former location (Howe and Fair Oaks). Kudos to Miguel and who ever manages this location.

Unacceptable 15-Minute Notice Cancellation…read more I arrived at 7:00 AM for a scheduled 7:30 AM fasting blood draw. There was zero physical signage on the door indicating the Quest lab was closed for building maintenance. I only received a digital cancellation notice at 7:15 AM. Furthermore, this happened on a Monday morning. There is no excuse for corporate management not to notify patients over the weekend that scheduled building maintenance would close the lab. Because this building offers a 20-minute parking grace period, a simple sign on the front door would have allowed patients to immediately turn around and exit the parking lot for free. By leaving no physical notice, waiting patients were forced to exceed that 20-minute window and pay for parking at a closed facility. A last-minute cancellation like this is completely unacceptable for patients who are actively fasting or relying on strict medical transport and family schedules. Leaving patients stranded outside with no physical sign on the door is incredibly poor management.
