I just want my money back. I regret joining this club. I went against my better judgement for reasons I do not wish to disclose. The club saves you a little money on hotels but not enough to make the price of the club worth it. And on top of that the annual fee is almost due and I cringe at the thought that I have to give them more money. I basically paid these people $6000+ of my hard earned money to save me a few bucks on hotels. As I read the reviews I envy the people that didn't join. If I could get at least get part of my money back I would be happy. Think hard before you sign the contract. Make sure you can afford it and you aren't struggling to pay this bill. If you can afford to take many vacations you probably don't even need this club. read more

My partner and I agreed to the WDP pitch as part of a free Paradise Cove Luau. We had every intention on sitting through the pitch, politely declining and going on with our life. However the experience was awesome. The sales staff were wonderful. It was a low pressures the entire time. The presentation really is what sold me. When I saw for myself the discount I could save over a life time for hotel rooms alone I was sold. We travel a lot and to see 10% - 60% discounts on average to some of my favorite places I was sold. I still wanted to see what I would be responsible for. After doing the numbers I realized I spent more on eating out every month than I would for this program. We signed up after crunching the numbers and witnessing the savings ourselves. Since, I have used the WDP site to book multiple hotel stays for myself and family. Depending on how you travel, how big your family is and your budget I would say this is well worth it. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Rich and everyone else we interacted with along our presentation!!! I personally have been through so many of these vacation club presentations costing 20k plus and more timeshare presentations than I can count. We purchased 2 timeshares and sold them back within 2 years. I was surprised and pleased at the pricing and options available to us through World Discovered. I trained recently to be a travel agent and I have access to hundreds of sites to find vacations all over the world for myself and others, the rates I have access to do NOT compare to the rates I am finding on World Discovered! YES ! You saw that correct! My rates as a travel agent DO NOT compare. I am so excited and we are already planning trips with our new membership. Rich went above and beyond to work with us financially as we have been furloughed since March. We found flights round trip to New Orleans from Dallas for $59 !!! This is unheard of. Absolutely scummy sales team and tactics. "Travis" at the Aloha swap meet set us up with a discount on an activity in Waikiki in exchange for what he described as viewing a short commercial about a new website that does travel discount. He said it would be about 45 minutes, 90 at the very longest, and we would be out of there no problem if we didn't want to buy anything. We show up on a beautiful Thursday morning and are sat with "Val" who tells us she's not a salesperson and that she will just be asking us some questions about our travel preferences. Well, long story short, a lame, likely coked up guy with a bad tan gives a presentation about about this program where you pay $8500 + $200 a year to access a website that lets you buy travel at what describe as "cost." They make you turn off your cell phone and don't let you leave the room to use the restroom during the presentation, so you have no way of doing even a slight verification of the facts (pricing on hotels and discounts) the guy is claiming on the screen. The guy doing the presentation was about the most cringe worth character you can imagine, and even though I corrected him on the pronunciation of my name when he met me (it's not even hard, trust me) He kept calling me by the wrong name. At the end of the presentation "Val" was back and started asking us more questions, insisting she wasn't a salesperson. I told her that the 90 minutes are up and thank you but we aren't interested and she said that to get our reduced price activity we were committed to "not having anything scheduled for another hour" which I told her that I don't have anything scheduled, I filled my obligations to you for 90 minutes and I don't want to spend any more time here. She told us we are free to leave but we won't be getting our gift if we don't "complete he process." It escalated to a light confrontation with some pony-tailed manager who after some back and forth told us we could go claim our activity tickets on the 4th floor below. It was pretty sketchy walking out of there empty handed but indeed there is a small office on the 4th floor with some girls at a desk inside. The one star rating is because the sales tactics these people use are scummy and deceitful. read more

This spot offered texting them for any extra supplies because of covid. The room was somewhat dirty when we first got there, the floor was terrible with crumbs and dirt. Other than that we walked downtown to everything. We really enjoyed Gatlinburg. read more

Pro: Kery is very fun and entertaining presenter to potential customers for introducing this travel services. Cons: Michael misleading the Boomerang Reward program of referring others to join the services and members will get money reward. In fact, members only received "credit reward" for future use of services not money $ cash reward. Elina is very friendly and charming but since she is a rookie of the company so she could not answer most of the questions asked by potential members. Elina kept referring to attend the Webinar later on for questions about the services. Members were rushed to sign off all kind of contract paper work to leave the office for other potential members waiting right outside the office to come in for signing contract paperwork. Members were not informed clearly during the rush signing contract about the 3 days Rights to Cancel the contract. The so-called "110% Price Guarantee" was misleading and misrepresented again when Sales Associates (Either Kery, Michael or Elina) did not mention that it was another "Reward Credit" only not in cash money. Although it claimed that Credit Reward is the same as cash for future use, but they did not mention the credit fact during the presentation and on the company brochure flyer. Furthermore, the claim for this 110% Price Guarantee have to be within 24 hours after booking with World Discovered Pacific and only accepted the website links online of the competitors, not the actual receipt price from brick and stone travel agencies. Members do not have time to know all the details (credit vs real cash money, 3 days rights to cancel the contract, etc.) because they had to rush through the signing contract papers and had to leave the office for others to come in continuing the signing up contract paper work. We have our attorney office to proceed canceling the contract for misleading and misrepresenting the services both in person and in print from the World Discovered Pacific Sale Associates. Hope Kery, Michael and Elina would present the services for member clearly next time before members sign off the contract (tell members about the 3 days Rights to Cancel contract too) and do not rush members out of the office for another potential members to come in for signing off contracts. read more

The salespeople here are not high pressure and let us decide whether or not we wanted this and would fit our travel needs. They gave us different options and let us choose. Completely worth the money if you love to travel and save money at the same time. Paperwork is quick, and they showed us a tutorial on our own membership so we were comfortable with our purchase. read more

Update to my issue below: I updated my review from 1 star to 5 stars due to how Kate and other customer service handle my issue after addressing it to social media. Though it was difficult to contact the right people regarding my issues in the beginning, I was still pleased after they found out my frustration finding the right people to talk to. Kate apologizes and assure me that they will handle my situation as soon as possible which she did... Few hours after suggesting the best solution she came out with, Eric, from reservation department assisted me in booking the hotel I'm looking at using the rewards credit I was given last year. On top of that, I was given another year of membership due to some inconveniences I had. I am thankful to Kate for taking care of me and the trouble I am having to deal with. This pleases me since travelling and planning can be so expensive and stressful and for someone to assist me with the additional frustrations I encounter, I am very grateful. I already booked our 3 adults and 1 child international airfare ticket for the cheapest price I can ever find, even cheaper than the other website I go to when I'm travelling ($20 -30 cheaper per person). I also booked the hotel for 2 rooms 5 adults and 1 child for free (using my rewards credits :)) Again, thank you Kate for helping me solve my issue. Issue: I tried to cancel my membership last year, the 2nd day after I signed up for this membership but I was convinced to stay by giving me 20,000 rewards credit. So now, that I was going to use the rewards credit that they gave me, customer service told me that I couldn't use it not until I pay the $199 renewal fee. This doesn't make sense! I paid more than $4000 in the beginning and now I have to pay another $199 every year! then what is the purpose of the $4000.00 plus that I paid for! then I couldn't use the 20,000.00 rewards credit they use to encourage me to keep my membership going! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! mind you that I keep calling Kate, customer service, Don, and nobody is getting back to me with an answer and only direct me to voicemail! I NEED ANSWER!!!! I keep leaving voicemail with my phone number so there is no reason not to get a call back from World Discovered Pacific! read more

I know what you're thinking... is it a scam. Well, So far I can say that everything they promised has been delivered. I've booked a rental car and compared it online side by side and saved $40. I booked several show tickets in LV and save at least $20 form the next lowest priced ticket but on average around $40 per ticket though I was not able to pick our seats as a trade off, we are still lower lever in the middle and I don't have any problem with that. My calander has been hectic with work, but each time I look at hotels (which are probably more expensive than the weekly stays option they were pushing) It was a minimum of 25% off in Chicago. That's amazing to me, and with travel being more afforable, and my confidence in the program I'm using it more and more and inviting my family and friends to use it (and help me build points.) If it saves them money, they're happy! I'm getting more and more excited about this and how much it will save in the long term given the steep upfront. I have no doubt in a lifetime I can make that back and more especially on the bigger trips! I say if you have the moneya nd travel every few months, it's worth it no doubt. read more

My fiance and I had a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to Hawaii to celebrate our getting back together and being engaged again after being separated for the last 45 years when we were engaged in high school back in 1974. We went on several tours with World discovered Pacific to include a fantastic luau, a ride on a glass bottom boat, a midnight tour and dinner around the island on a boat with live entertainment, all at very reduced rates! We are so very sorry will never be able to do it again but thankful for the once in a lifetime experience! They say they're not a timeshare, but they use the EXACT tactics to get you to become a member. And then when you don't, they want to short you on the gift to get you in the door. It might be a good service, but this "get it now or the price is higher" approach is the same as a timeshare, without the benefit of a trip. All we got was a discounted activity and some salesperson asking me to write a positive review about a company I've never heard of. I have a review for you, and it isn't good. Yes everybody at this company is helpful, cheerful, friendly and seems like they enjoy their jobs. We got everything promised ($100 cash) for listening. We did enroll in the program, but afterwards had second thoughts. Being from Hawaii, our highest expense is airfare, and the travel website didn't offer the greatest rates. So we cancelled within 3 days which was fairly easy (thank you). We did read online that you can go directly to the Saveonresorts.com for same services. read more

Alina and the rest of the team were amazing. My boyfriend worked in timeshare and so I have been to a few presentations but at World Discovered Pacific the presentation was so different and we were so impressed. Alina didn't pressure us and they were so supportive of where we were in life. There were so many options and the value of what they are selling is really beyond anything we have experienced in timeshare. Unfortunately we weren't able to commit due to financial reasons but Alina again was so kind and understanding, which is why as soon as this is feasible for us we will be back. zero stars! this company sucks!! we are paying for membership services each month which we cant even have access to because they are asking for us to pay more in order to have access to our membership!!! unreal!! i suggest ppl stick to goggle and other trveling free websites! not worth the money! we made a loan and yet the loan doesnt even cover the "access" to our paid monthly fees membership. bascially until we pay a yearly access fee we cannot access our membership that we pay for each month unbelieveable i dont know how ppl can even work for this company. read more

My husband and I are very disappointed with this company and would not get involved again. We were laughed at by the Manager when we decided to cancel which we thought was outrageous and was charged nearly $500 which was certainly not told to us at the time. On the cancellation paperwork it reads, You may cancel this transaction, without any penalty or obligation within three business days from the date of sale which we did. All the Manager could say was he was sick of Australians cancelling. On receiving our refund it was less nearly $500. We were in Waikiki for a 10 day holiday and on booking a tour we were talked into going to this presentation and in return they would upgrade one of the shows we booked which they did. We did think at the time the program sounded very good . We did sign up with them but after returning to our hotel and looking at what they offered on the internet, we felt it really didn't suit us and did not consider their prices to be that good The next day we went back to cancel and was not impressed with the way we were treated by the Manager. All the staff were great apart from this Manager. My husband explained to him he also had a couple of health issues and he didn't think he would get the use out of the program and he just laughed at him and walked out of the room. TRAVEL COMPANY SCAM worst then timeshare. A friend of mine went to Hawaii recently and they did a presentation and lied to them got them to buy a program. Promised 75% savings blah blah blah. My friend came back home searched the program and couldn't find any savings. They are frequent travelers and were looking to book right away for two vacations for the remainder of the year. They found 10% savings not one savings of 75% at a resort worth staying. I traveled a month later and let them do the presentation for us not telling them we are friends of people they lied to and wrote down word for word the promises and it was all lies. This is a pure joke. STAY AWAY from this SCAM. We are spreading the word and will be writing reviews on every platform to warn people. read more

I'm not sure what I was thinking. During a visit to Hawaii last May, I was lured into the WDP presentation in order to save money on a luau. These sales people are good...really good. Next thing I knew, I was signing on the redline and committed to paying $8000+ over the next 4 years. I'm not in a position to travel and when I do, it's work or to see friends/family. I've tried to book airfare and car rentals, but find them cheaper on other sites. I'm sick to my stomach that I'm trapped in a contract that I can't get out of. We looked on their website & found many condos we have stayed in, in the past, for quite a bit less. This membership fits well with our desires to continue traveling. So... went to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet and got flagged down by a shark of a sales man who works for this World Discovered Pacific company. He gave us the usual spheal, you ladies on vacation, bla, bla, bla, are you single, have kids, time share, what would you like to do while in Hawaii, bla, bla, bla then proceeded to sell us a Luau or any activity of our choice. We opted for the Luau for 10 bucks each, not a bad deal considering that they usually sell for 100 each! We of course grabbed the deal but wait?! the catch...had to go to some hour and a half seminar on this site they have (not time share) but close enough. In the end they tried to rope us in to buying a membership for a mere price of 10g's for the premium package, bla, bla, bla, and loads of buying pressure. Very unpleasing and annoying. We were approached by a travel agent while walking on the street about sea life park and Luau tickets on sale for 20 dollars each. We told them that we also had to bring our parents but only till later was told that since they weren't fluent with English they couldn't get the discount because we had to sit through a 30 minutes sales pitch about a website. I told the travel agent that I don't go back and forth and could just leave. He then conceded to the original price of 80 bucks. We went to the world traveled pacific inside the bank of Hawaiian building and was told the presentation would be at least 1.5 hours and no breakfast as the travel agent said. I had to run out to grab some food. When I came back 30 minutes later they got us into a room and told us we had to pay 170+ instead. They claimed they tried to tell my husband but he went to bathroom. He was just outside and they apparently didn't bother. Thanks for ruining my vacation morning. Please be warned if you were approached on the street of wakiki especially by this company's agent. No matter what they are selling I can't believe it's be anything good - it appears they were selling a site more fantastic than orbitz. Yep. read more
