All the extra charges they like to charge. Dine in surcharge, card processing fee, BYOB fee.

When we walked in it smelled like cat pee... it was a Saturday night and no one was there eating. I seen lots of pictures of the food and it looked so good so we had to try it. The food was good but not for the money. 2 meals, summer roll and spring rolls $70?!?! They charge for BYOB, dine in surcharge, card fee, THEY EVER CHARGE 30 cents for a lemon wedge. Only 1 other person came in to dine while we were there. Between the 4 of us (went with another couple we dropped $140 at this place.) And the lady walks over and says 5 minutes before closing "okay we close now" while the other people were still eating beside us. Basically telling us to get out. Really sad because the food was good but not good enough to go back and deal with that again!

We have been eating here at least once a week for the past two years. We travel 20 miles one way. This is one of the best Thai vegan friendly restaurants around. The quality and freshness of the food is always excellent. Everything is homemade. It's a small independent owned business. It's always service with a smile. From outside looks like a small hole in the wall restaurant. When you eat their food you'll be glad you did.

This is not authentic Thai street food. Tofu needs to be reworked. Service needs to improve.

This place is quaint yet still trendy. Love the pork dish and the apps. Great service as well. Nice little spot. Will recommend to a friend!

Just finished a dinner with Thai hot noodles. Excellent flavor, very large portions. I highly recommend this place.

Drove 40 minutes from Harrisburg to try it out. Cosy and comfortable place, good food, good music.

Great food, excellent value, would give 5 stars but for décor and "relaxed" wait staff. A must try restaurant in York.

I enjoy eating thai food, and after going to another thai food place in York, my friend and I…read moredecided to try this place out based on the reviews. We were left extremely disappointed. I ordered the pad kee mao, which was also named drunken noodles on the website. When I got the dish, it was flavorless, with a brownish gray cornstarch slurry type of sauce. We called the restaurant, since this was a takeout dish. Upon talking to someone working there, she started arguing and explaining that the restaurant was open 10 years and the recipe was fine and that we should have specified Bangkok noodles instead. Every single thai restaurant I have ever been to, from the east coast to the west coast, makes a reddish colored drunken noodle dish they call pad see mao. I have never received anything that looks like it is made with a cornstarch and soy sauce slurry or tastes this bland, even ordered with their normal spice level. We were met with hostility during this call. Not once were we asked if we would be able to come in and have our dish remade. Instead, the woman insisted we were wrong and implied our palates were off. I would never go back here and wouldn't recommend any of my friends go here either. The food itself would have gotten 2 stars, but this interaction is what is driving the 1 star review. Edit: looking at pictures posted by people of their pad see mao, mine looks completely different and clearly wasn't made correctly. I guess whoever picked up the phone was so convinced that they gave the right dish that they didn't care to listen to our complaints.

I recently stopped by Sawasdee Thai Cuisine and had a great experience overall…read more To start, I ordered a Thai tea and their wonton soup. The soup came with Thai pork, vegetables, and scallions. It was very flavorful and came out nice and hot so good that I didn't feel the need to add anything extra to it. For my main dish, I ordered my go-to Thai meal: chicken and basil. It was super delicious. The chicken was well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and the dish came out hot and fresh just like the soup. Parking was easy since they have their own dedicated parking lot. It's not huge, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The restaurant itself is family-friendly, and they had music playing in the background that added to the atmosphere without being too loud or distracting. Service was a little slower than usual today it took about 15 minutes for someone to come over and take my food and drink order, but once the order was placed, the food came out quickly. The staff was still very kind and welcoming, and things happen sometimes, so it wasn't enough for me to take away from the overall experience. They also have bathrooms available, which is always helpful for families stopping in. Seating options are tables, booths, and table and booth combination, If you enjoy Thai cuisine, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!
