Love this store! They have everything from furniture to wine and all your international snack needs. We spent a lot of time here, browsing through all the aisles.

Horrible customer service. I JUST left this store Online store hours says store closes at 7pm, I get to the store at 6:04pm and walk past a worker outside and enter the store. The same worker approaches my family and I, very rude, that we must leave the store because they close at 6pm. I respond by saying that we only wanted to take a quick look at couches (as I was already doing) and she proceeds to fuss at me that we must leave the store because they close at 6pm and the door was closed (if it was closed how did it get inside). She then gets the attention of an older lady with short blonde hair and she was just as rude even after I explained that we were already here. Yal, I left that store and the lady (heavy set white lady with dark hair) kept arguing with me and shut that door in my face almost hitting me. I walked back to my car and it was only 6:09pm. Completely inappropriate interaction with customer and around other customers (who were still in the store shopping!) I will not be retuning and urge management to train their employees appropriately. Poor customer service!!!!!

First time going today, it was very clean and organized. Everything is labeled and easy to find. I got some Japanese watermelon gummies and they were delicious!

Bacon Salt...it doesn't get much better than this.

I may have seen a classroom in the back, they definite have a small coffee bar in the back and sometimes offer free drinks for shoppers. There is more vintage items here and in better condition than I've ever seen in any other store of this kind (individuals rent booths) so I suspect someone in management is keeping an eye to variety and quality. Everything was amazing, and I found so many amazing things that I will have to come back and get! Lots of furniture, vintage pieces, trinkets, and handmade stuff as well!! Everything was reasonably priced considering their origin and man! I gotta go back! The staff was absolutely sweet and we even held a nice long conversation and welcomed us to the area! Overall, I know I will be frequent customer!

CUE THE BOLLYWOOD TRACK!…read more I was drawn to this store as I was leaving another store. It had two very large lions sitting just outside of the front door so my friend and I went inside. This store is all about big bold pieces that make a statement. It is the type of store one would visit if decorating an estate. Some of the items are rather tasteful while others will remind you of Bollywood or Vegas. Many of the pieces remind me of Middle Eastern Decor and will set you back a penny. They had a full sized butler with tray for $800. A simple chest with three drawers will set you back approximately $1700 and prices go up from there. This store also holds auctions so that you can bid on various items for sale. The good news: looking is free!

The majority of the items are quite eccentric and remind you of an 80s tv show or movie. I'm not saying it's bad! Everyone has different tastes and there are a few pieces which would add some variety to your house for sure. The furniture is quite expensive - they do have auctions, but you would still end up investing a lot. The paintings run around $100-$250 plus in the auctions - there were mostly oil paintings available. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find something for our mate, but it was a fun visit and a totally different experience.

I didn't find a house that weekend, but my realtor sent me a link to a home and said it had me 'written all over it.' The home was beautiful but what really sold it to me (sight unseen in person!) was that I could really see myself and my family in it. Come to find out, the house was staged by White Dog Home. There was a mix up with one of the rugs that was used in the staging, and when they came back to the house to pick it up after I moved in, I asked off-handedly if they would consider selling it to me. I bought the rug and in the next couple of weeks, spent time looking through the original photos of the house and trying to find similar items that they had used to stage it. Finally, I realized I could probably buy the actual items from where they came from and called White Dog Home. I love the style, and I loved the way White Dog Home staged the house I bought. It wasn't too fancy or stiff - it looked like an HGTV home, a dream home, a place where I'd want to live. I bought a house they staged sight unseen in person, bought a rug that they staged in my home, and I'm planning on working with them to decorate and style it now that I live here. It's a crazy, random, and fun story, but I wanted to tell it because it's a true testament to their work. I should also mention that I have only spoken with Malinda over the phone, but every interaction has been easy and accommodating, which, if you've ever moved, you know is so important when you're finding new people to work with. People who just understand how to treat people/their customers always win me over!

One of Alpharetta's older buildings, The Cotton House is located slightly off Main Street on Milton Avenue. The interior rambles from one room to another and around each corner is something new and interesting. This is a combination of antiques-dealer stalls and a consignment shop so the finds range from custom Christmas ornaments to refinished 1950's end tables, from handmade soaps to farmhouse dining tables and everything in between. In my last visit, my cousin found a vintage milk bottle set and a refinished (distressed) side table for a bedroom all for less than $100. This is a place where - when you find a piece you love - you'd better snap it up right away or it'll be gone the next time you circle around to it. This is not a place you pop into/out of - it's a place where you plan to spend a couple of hours browsing. There's just too much to see and if you rush through, you'll miss all the interesting little items. Look up, look behind and look above - there are decor items everywhere! Some are cute, some are kitschy and some are absolutely must-haves. There is parking available on the street in front of the store but it's limited and requires you to back out into traffic. I recommend parking in the (free) gravel lot just behind the store. Another good parking option is the deck at City Hall (only one and a half blocks away) - parking is free there, allowing you time to browse and then have a nice lunch at a downtown restaurant while you contemplate your purchases.

It's one of those stores where you can walk away with a neat or charming piece of furniture, wall decor or gift and you never know what you'll find. There's something so satisfying about this kind of shopping. I often come here without any specific piece or need in mind, but I always walk out with something that is perfect for my home ... The staff is so friendly and you can tell they love working there and are proud of their artists and vendors. Since there are no shopping carts/baskets, they can hold your items for you at the front when you're ready to check out. I highly recommend signing up for their newsletter so you can keep up with their sidewalk sale dates or other fun events. I came unknowingly on a Valentine's week event and sipped on a free mimosa as I shopped - how perfect is that?!!
