Everytime we come in here the prices on the end caps are never correct. You always pay more money at the register. The lazy workers won't go check 3 of them standing around doing absolutely nothing. We had to go take a picture ourselves and bring to them to prove once again they are false advertising. They don't honor it and we won't come back anymore. I had not shopped this Target before (or at least in memory) so I thought I try to get a few things to help me in my move to an apartment. For the most part, I found them! The soles are wide, but there are no "end" signed to tell you what's in them. They are numbered, but without a guide....I guess I was supposed to look things up to find the aisle number but I didn't have the time. Fortunately, all of the staff is very helpful! Off my list, I could not get the brand of deodorant I use or smaller packages of bar soap, but I did find several useful items--including an over-the-door four hook towel and robe hanger. I really needed that! The pharmacy is a CVS and there's a Starbuck's as you enter. So, I will be back as I make another "useful-items-to-have" list. read more

This was an impromptu stop to this particular Target. Why you may ask? Because I heard that with supply chains, shipping, etc. problems, holiday shopping is going to be a nightmare, and I noticed in their weekly ad that they were giving you a $10 gift card if you spent a certain amount on Legos. Anyway, I walked in, browsed at the dollar bin, but didn't find anything that struck my fancy, but then we went back by the toys section and that's when I saw the popup Disney store at this location. I have to say, I really miss the Disney Store that was in the town center. This isn't exactly like it, but I liked the setup, just wish they had more stuff. Then I headed over to the Legos section. I found two sets that would be perfect, I didn't really dilly dally, I looked around at other sections, getting some candy and some Halloween items, then headed to the register. The reason for this five out of five rating is for the customer service I received from a front end manager, Caleb. We ran into a bit of a snafu when an item didn't ring up the price it was listed on the shelf. Upon checking it, he was able to do a price adjustment, but even if he hadn't done a price adjustment, he was just so nice and did what he could to help the situation. He then had to ring up the $10 free gift card. He also stayed close by the register, because our cashier wasn't able to do the gift card and because my mom was buying $50 worth of legos, she'd also need the $10 gift card, so he stayed there until her transaction was completed, so he could ring that up for her. I could tell he was being pulled in a lot of different directions, but not once did he lose his cool, seem rattled, he kept a smile on his face the entire time. For that reason alone, if I'm in the area and need to do a Target run, I'll head to that store. I came to Target Pharmacy because they accept the Good RX Gold card which is discounted prescriptions. Publix or Walmart do not accept this card...no idea why but CVS and WD Pharmacy do too. If you get the card it show (all "on line") the pharmacy in your area and the price for that specific prescription. With the discount my prescription here was $16.08 but at CVS it would have been $38.65...why I don't know? I know there is great debates why prescriptions are SO expensive but I feel profit is their motivators. With this card it discounts even more then the regular Good RX, for me over 50%! This Gold has 30 days free to try or it cost $6.99 which I paid-I think for a year?!? Whether I keep I'll decide; I don't have any regular prescriptions but things come up and one might need one so...? read more

I usually avoid Target because of their high prices, but every now and then I'm dragged into a Target store. This store is nice and clean, everything is organized, and it's not all that crowded. The staff is nice. But like all Target stores it caters more towards females and kids; hardly any men's shoes and sandals. Then clothing for men in this store are more for the petite built men; not men with added life experience around the waist like me. They have plenty of other stuff in other departments like health & beauty, toys, sporting goods, etc; but they also charge a lot more than the other department stores. read more

I came here the other day to pick out a new laptop as a gift for my sister. I grabbed the Acer Aspire 3 and it was labeled on sale for $299. I went ahead and jumped on it because of the awesome price! Went to the counter to find out that the sale tag was on the wrong item but I was happy to hear that they'd price match it for me! I went home and gave it to her and helped her set it up. It was super slow and very difficult to set up and I was questioning why when I had bought it not even 2 hours prior to opening. We finally got it to start working and didn't think too much about it. Less than 24 hours after the purchase, the laptop wouldn't even turn on. How frustrating!! When spending that kind of money, you expect for the item to at least work correctly! I came back 2 days later to try to exchange it. The woman at the return counter was super nice and understanding but, she informed me that I couldn't do an "exchange", I would have to totally refund it and buy it again instead. I agreed. She then informed me that it could take upto 7 business days for my refund money to hit my account! How am I supposed to replace it when the money I used for it was in thin air for the next week? I walked to the back in the electronics section to go grab another one of the Acer Aspire 3s. I was told to continue to check my bank account to see if the money was there- which it wasnt. I went back to the return counter and was pretty frustrated. The second lady who helped me during this transaction was very kind and told me that they could cancel the refund and put it fully on a Target giftcard so I could easily rebuy! I wondered why this wasn't the first option given. I was able to walk out with a brand new one and was satisfied! When opening this laptop, it was the same one but had different packaging, stickers, etc which leads me to believe the 1st one I came home with must have been some kind of defective one that was refurbished and sold a second time. This is a good Target store. It is conveniently located on San Jose next to Publix and has a Starbucks located within the store. The store itself is a regular Target with fresh groceries and while it is not a Super Target they do carry a little bit of everything. There is a pharmacy within and it is now a part of the CVS network. They also have a photo center and a cafe. The store is well organized and has great weekly sales. Using the cartwheel app, you can save even more. The associates are pleasant and helpful when asked to help. There is a good selection of clothing for all sizes (Thank you Target) and they also carry the usual home goods, kitchenwares and electronics. If your in the neighborhood this is a great Target to run to when you don't have time to run to a super target. read more

One of the smaller Targets I've been to. It's not a SuperTarget so their selection seems to be limited when it comes to food items. Went in to use my 50% & 40% off Cartwheel deals for Campbell Princess soup, Lindt Creation bars, and Nathan's hotdogs - no luck. They didn't carry any of these items. I don't like how they don't have a designated customer service area. It's up by the reg. register so u can make returns or cash out at the same line. If u have only 1 item to return, you have to wait in line with other ppl cashing out. Think it's a standard that all Targets have recycling bins so I don't think this location is special when it comes to that, but still glad they do since the apt complex I live at doesn't. It's Target so you have the expectations of any other Target. What I have seen over the course of the last year is that this particular location seems to have less registers open than what I am accustomed. I've been at various times of the day and various days of the week and the lack of registers has been consistently lower than normal. read more

Visited this store to get dairy creamer (half n half) and paper towels because we had 2 $5 coupons. All of the quart containers were expired on 1/19, or 5 days previous. Apparently no one from management looked in the case for the last 5 days? Wasted my time and offset the happiness of using the coupons. Also, what does this indicate for Targets inventory control? Visited Target today and most of the staff and customers were wearing masks. However, the aisles were not marked as to the direction of flow so people were passing in narrow aisles. Even worse at check out. They have checkout counters two deep and people are trying to pass to get to the front checkout counter. Felt very unsafe and very stressful. The staff is not trained to deal with this. One rude young lady was very condescending about my anxiety of having people come close.. Please work on staff training and have them take customers worries more seriously. It is important to some people to stay for at least 5 to 8 feet apart, including staff members. I just have to say that I love this store. I usually don't have a chance to go shopping, but when I do, I come here. They have everything here. Today I bought some Starbucks, clothes, accessories and a few home decor items. AND THEY DON'T JUDGE YOU WHEN YOUR KID IS JUST BEING THE WORST, and you need to verbally discipline your brat. I decided to stop in at Target to do some last minute baby shower shopping and I'm glad I did. I was able to find everything I needed and what made the scavenger hunt that much easier was the fact that on the print out it list the isles that you would need to look at in order to find the product you intended on getting. It wasn't like other stores that would say it'd be in one spot but ends up being on the opposite side of store either. This store was organized and very clean. Walking in you get the wonderful smell of Starbucks and, if you're lucky, the popcorn! I must say the smell of popcorn is one of my weird smells that I love. Depending on the time of day you go I'm sure they have workers in there walking the floor willing and ready to help if you ever are having a hard time looking for something. During my visit I seen most of them just reorganizing their section of the store. If the lines get long they don't mind pulling people in to help speed up the checkout process which was even better. read more

I used in store pickup and got the alert to come pick up my items. The girl helping me realized that a part of my order had not been included. She was quick to go back and grab the missing items. On my way out two other employees apologized again for the error then offered a target gift card. The girl who originally helped me get my missing items also came up to me again to apologize. Balance showed zero, should have been $50 per cardThey gave me a balance of zero on two of the five cards and said they had already been used. Would not help me. Made two trips to the store with receipts, numerous phone calls over 2 1/2 hours on the phone kept getting disconnected, store was no help at all. Store selection is good have always been obsessed...I mean had a love of Target. The Starbucks inside is amazing the baristas are more polite and knowledgable than the free standing locations. Thank you Target for brightening up the day of the nurses and other staff at UF Health Jacksonville. A health professional(whose husband works at Target at Mandarin) brought over care packages for the nurses and other staff. It was filled with individual hand sanitizer, Emergen-C, hand moisterizer, and other "pick-me-up" items. The staff at the hospital was very much appreciative of the kind gesture and wanted to recoginze Target for their efforts. They got me again! I went in for sponges and ended up spending $150! This store is so cool. I love the plus size mannequins in the Ava & Viv section and the accessories area is pretty cool. My new favorite addition is the big screen by electronics showcasing new books. One ad made me download a book in the store to my Kindle. It was busy but it was also Saturday. Even though the lines were long, I didn't wait forever. I love Target. read more

So much for social distancing in this store. I ordered on line waiting 4 hrs. I then go to the drive up spot call the store an they tell me I have to come inside. That I not only didn't pick curbside but some of the product they couldn't bring out. Ok firstly why couldn't the lady change that as I was speaking to her in the parking lot? Driving down San Jose, this is an unassuming, run of the mill Target store. It is, but it isn't. The store is generally set up like the other Target stores in the Jacksonville area, but it's the pricing and the service that makes it stand out. All the employees that I've come across are always friendly and acknowledge our presence whenever we're perusing the aisles. The cashiers up front are super nice and chatty. One of them will even try to help you save money by encouraging you to download the Target app while she's ringing up your items so you can pull up any potential coupons to be scanned. As for the pricing, most items are generally priced the same as the other stores. I have noticed (and found interesting) that certain things are a little bit cheaper at this store than at the other locations (SS and SJTC specifically.) for example, we buy Annie's snacks. We found that their animal crackers and fruit snacks are (on average) $0.30 cheaper than the other locations. And this makes sense since Whole Foods is directly across the street and carries those same items, and because it seems like those other 2 stores don't have that kind of competition and are in a more popular area. The only complaint I have about this store is the location. Sometimes getting in and out of the plaza can be a pain b/c of the never-ending traffic on San Jose and b/c of how close it is to the interstate. read more

Their clothes section for women wasn't bad but the children's section was horrible. If you're searching for anything baby don't bother here they have next to nothing for your baby. Well, this is now another offensive visit to Target for me today! They claim they accept personal checks but will not accept mine. More than plenty funds are available. When I called the phone number that was embossed on the back of my check declining the transaction I was told by the agent that it's because I was a first time check writer. Huh!?! I had been writing checks to Target since at least February 1998 (that is when I started to use Quicken on my computer for my checking account and my search took me back that far). I had written at least 120 checks during that time. My check number on the check I had written to them today was 7982. So, I am shocked that they stood firm on this situation and had offered nothing but "sorry". So, to sum it up: I will not ever shop at Target again. There are more than plenty stores available that will suite my needs. The customer service is great at those other stores and they have always accepted my check without issue. Many of you wonder why I am still writting checks? I prefer not to use debit cards due to security issues. I did pay with a credit card today at Target but in retrospect I should have just walked out of the store without giving them my business. read more
