This is actually my first time at a Hobby Lobby- and it is a very cute store, and has lots of pictures, art supplies, arts and crafts items, and indoor and outdoor decor. This one even sells yarn and fabric! Anyways, i liked some of their selection of outdoor furniture- as there was lots of yellow and sunflowers. Even saw a nice sunflower pillow, that was far up upon the shelf- and unfortunately, no associates in sight to help us. Oh well lol. We continued looking around the aisles, and found a nice flower welcome mat for outdoor use. We also browsed the kitchen aisle and came across a bowl set that was on sale. We needed some serving bowls here, so that was handy. We then looked at the photos, and nothing really was of interest. They had lots of cows, Religious pictures, but nothing bright and yellow, or of colors like blue or green. After looking around, my mom went to the restroom, and when she came out, she spotted something that was Navy Blue, a decor that matched! Although with some of the lighting, it looks black! HM, Anyways, while my mom was in the restroom, my aunt returned some items that she didn't want, and it seemed like an easy process. Then, after looking at the color, my mom checked out and paid for the navy blue decor, the mat, and the serving bowl set. Cashier was pleasant throughout the transaction. We paid via a credit card. Maybe we'd be back to check out more items!

The design features are all put together well from the pillows to the shams to the throw blankets. They do a wonderful job of all the set ups and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were looking for a specific table, but we were not able to find exactly what we were looking for. The store carries quality furniture and all the accessories are beautiful. Really enjoyed browsing and looking today. If I had a stupid cash laying around I would purchase several things from this store.

Not one smile or even a glance in our direction. The store only had a few people so it wasn't like staff was busy at all. The salespeople talked amongst themselves but never approached us, never said hello, never asked if we needed help....nothing. In today's world when a customer takes the time to visit your store, not just shop on the internet, it would serve you well to at least be friendly. Well, you just lost a $1000 rug sale! So many people may ask- what is Carolina Pottery-- I would call it a home store that has floral arrangements, pictures, outdoor furniture, wine, kitchen supplies, decor items, and plenty more! It is quite a big store and located at the Tanger outlets on 501. Because this is a mall, we found plenty of parking and parked. Walked in and within 5 minutes saw a canvas sunflower picture! I was excited because I've been looking for something like that, and never found it in any of the other furniture stores! So then I grabbed a wagon, and put it in the wagon. Oh, and they already had fall/halloween/christmas stuff out already. Why do retail stores rush this kind of stuff? Anyways store was clean and organized. What i also loved about this store is that they had plenty of selection of color items like if you need a red candle holder- guess what, they have it! Even their wall hangings are more colorful, and have colors that pop. My mom also found a blue whale and green turtle. The only thing about this store is that the prices can be expensive- like 60.00 for a fourth of july/american flag for the garden. When we were done, we went to the cashier. Cashier was pleasant, and we paid via credit card- 35.00 for the sunflower picture, and in total we spent 61.53. Oh, and i noticed at the register- there are pictures of people, and then the words Jailed with a smiley face. While it is good that they condemn stealing, and that definitely might deter from-- a responsible paying customer doesn't need to see that. Also while we were shopping, there was hardly anyone in the store, as far as customers. If one hasn't been there, highly suggest to check the store out, especially if you like items with color! Marshall's is always a hit or miss on finding what you need, but this location is a win more often than not. It's on the way to family's house so anytime we're heading in or out of town and feel like killing some time, we always stop here. Marshall's also has men's shoes (which TJ Maxx does not) and I've had some great sneaker finds at this location too. I will say the men's shoe dept has gotten smaller recently and hopefully that's just based on stock or season and will increase again soon.
