This review was long due. We had World Wide as our Title company for our first home purchase in August 2016. We are extremely happy with their professionalism and prompt response. We contacted multiple title companies and World wide was priced most competitively. They charged us only for Title insurance (state regulated fee), endorsements ($150) and closing protection letter ($125). While other companies charges for mailing fees or fax fees or money transfer fee; WW was very professional in charging what was right. We got estimates upfront and then we decided to work with them. They communicated periodically and were thorough in their research. Patiently explained title options and their research report. We were dealing with Todd who reports to Jon Love. Todd walked us through the entire process very nicely. One thing about Jon Love, he is not a person but a machine - his response time has always been under 5 minutes (really cray and super efficient). The only thing that could have been better was that on closing day neither Todd or Jon were physically present. We were dealing with the attorney directly. Jon dialed into 3 closing calls at the same time (like I said he is a machine). Though no issues, just first time home buyers nervousness. Second was that their post-closure team took a very long time to mail the original documents to us. Jon had sent us the e-copy immediately, just the original title was mailed very late. Our experience with this firm was exceptional. My wife and I plan to recommend WWLT to anyone we know that needs a title company. We liked that the principle is an attorney and was always available to answer any questions - and he answers emails and returns phone calls promptly. Our transaction was a little complicated, but it was great that I could pick up the phone and get the correct answers and assistance in no time at all. When the fake account scandal at Wells Fargo started making headlines, I felt uncomfortable continuing my relationship with them so I severed ties with the bank. Chose the firm to help complete our purchase transaction on a new home. I didn't want to use the in house company affiliated with the real estate firm although our agent pushed us to.
