Myself personally I smelled alcohol on my Manager breath one Saturday morning, there was only her as management for a Saturday with nobody to report to, I was disappointed when I received reprimand for not tattletaling until Monday. When I called to cancel the trip, I was advised that we could get only a partial weekend because the we were cancelling within 30 days of the trip. Since then, I have received numerous phone calls and emails asking me if I want to rebook the trip and every time I explain that my wife has cancer, we're not able to travel and she likely will never travel again. I ask for the a refund for the rest of our payment and they say, no we can't do that. But we can use it towards another trip. Even though I keep telling them that my wife can't travel and likely will never travel again. But they keep calling and emailing me. They've got my money and show no sympathy for our situation. That's who they are. Do business with them at your own peril.

Unwarranted Financial Burden: The financial strain of the timeshare is now substantial. This burden, coupled with the difficulty we consistently experience in booking vacations--making the product virtually unusable--has led us to conclude that the timeshare is not worth the expense. Loan as Barrier to Cancellation: Marriott is using the existence of a loan to prevent cancellation, which we believe is a tactic to lock us into a predatory contract based on misrepresented costs.

Walkable into town - really cute Main Street. Perfect location if you are skier (when season is open). Units were quiet for most part - however could def hear the folks directly above us. Cons: Couch beds like paper - do not recommend for anyone outside of tiny young children. Only a few elevators - super slow. Parking spaces are tight- had regular size suv and would not go any larger. They want you to run DW, take out trash, wash towels, gather linens upon leaving when you are an owner. While I want to be helpful I'm also on vacation, have paid for the timeshare, pay ownership maintenance dues for upkeep and should not have to feel like I need to fully clean upon leaving. We did help but the only trash cans were in parking level and we were on 3rd floor - very inconvenient. Didn't like the fact they asked all that.

There were hoards of people all with large groups. We learned that this is a vacation club & there were no perks. There is no breakfast, no club room, parking is $25 daily ... We were given a property map, restaurant recommendations, & told to go to the Welcome Center. At the welcome center we were given a packet with 10% off a few shops and restaurants. We were offered a deal to come back for 3 days paying $200 & additional $300 or $400 when we stay. Check-in was at 4 o'clock and check out at 10 in the morning . We drove in reverse to the underground parking lot & went to the Alpine lodge room 5408. There are 6 lodges with restaurants, a pool & fitness center at the other end of the property. Our small room had a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes for 2, a safe, an outdated drip coffee pot for one cup, 1 luggage rack & no view. I was surprised that a van was bringing guests from another Marriott to our hotel. The pool was packed with lots of children. The water pressure was good, the king bed was plush & comfortable, and the air-conditioning kept us cool. The ceiling fan over a bed was a plus. I discovered that a vacation club isn't for us. All of the amenities here we have at home. After traveling for almost a month, the room was very tight. There was no housekeeping nor refreshing of items in the room. We went to a local market to shop for coffee, milk, soap, napkins... Marriott provided a list of where to take out our garbage recyclables and how to change bedding... on the way to the garbage room there was broken glass.

Pros: -The rooms are nice and spacious -For the standard double you get a good size mini refrigerator, dishes, microwave, and toaster. -Nice bathtub and lots of room in the bathroom -Beds are soft (can be an issue if you don't like really soft beds) Cons: -Our patio door wouldn't open and even after calling down to the desk they said they could come and open it but the way the said it over the phone it was like we were putting them out. We tried to open it exactly as instructed on the door (and reverse order). No lucky they even told us to just try harder and don't worry about breaking it. Then when checking out the lady said they are french doors and difficult to open and again asked I followed the instructions... I'm sorry but when we have to explain that over and over that our patio door was broken and they don't care that's an issue. Besides, it was more annoying because we know doors.. my husband manages a building products business so don't give me that shit about 'they are french doors and hard to open'.. We wanted to go out in the evening and enjoy sitting outside, but that didn't happen! -10:30 an night and I was going to shower.. guess what no hot water. Wtf! I've never come across a hotel where they run out of hot water.. they told us they are aware of the problem and should have it fixed in 30 minutes.. oh that's nice! and the only thing they could do is waive everyone's fees who complained. -Everything in this area shutdowns at 10 pm (pools, restaurants, everything) -They do not have a space where you can buy something you may have forgotten. I mean come on all the hotels have those mini convenience store for emergency items. -The parking in the garage is a joke. We thought it would circle all the way around so when we went in and turned left, no parking but it came to a sudden dead end so we had to back all the way out then try the other side. Mind you there were several vehicles taking up two parking stalls because the stalls were slim. Next time we'll stay over by Park City Mountainside or Marriott Mountainside, it's worth the difference.

The map they provide isn't very intuitive, and navigating the resort often requires going down multiple hallways, taking a elevator, walking down another hallway, and then taking another elevator just to get somewhere. My suggestion would be for them to create a better, 3-D map to help guests navigate this expansive resort more easily.

I received a message at 3pm that my room was ready and exactly how to get access to my room keys as after 4pm there was no attendant on duty. The original email said checkin wasn't until 4pm. We showed up Saturday at about 4:10 and I was able to locate the lock box and gain access to my room keys. What I didn't know until that text at 3pm was there was an additional $25 per day parking cost! We took 2 vehicles so my husband could leave straight for work Monday morning. We paid $100 for 2 vehicles for 2 nights that was a completely unexpected extra fee that was not disclosed when booking. Neither was the construction going on disclosed. There was scaffolding everywhere! We arrived to our room only to find workers on the scaffolding right outside our deck looking into our windows. They also could have easily accessed our balcony and room if the door wasn't locked. Lovely. Our room appeared to have been updated in recent years, it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen if needed, a dishwasher, and washer & dryer available. And electric fireplace was in the room, however, it didn't work but luckily it wasn't needed for the summer. The room A/C worked great during the daytime, but come night set at 64 I can tell you it had to be 74+ in there. We were all warm at night. Saturday night it was pretty quiet except for a few door slams around midnight. Sunday night was a whole catastrophe in itself! Lots of door slams throughout the night, and the fire alarm went off at 3:30am and we evacuated. It took nearly 20 minutes for a resort staff to show up and 30+ minutes for the fire department who was literally 2 min down the street. We sat outside for an hour before the gentleman came out to tell us he thought incense was the case. Then about 10 min after that they allowed us back in and another gentleman claimed they had found the reason behind the low water pressure. So I'm still not exactly sure what happened. The rest of the night we slept horribly because doors slamming shut at all hours plus the elevator kept dinging and we just couldn't drown out the noise. There a fitness center, three jacuzzis and a smaller sized poll. Several restaurants within walking distance, a candy store and some shopping. It's pretty much next door to Concerts on the Slopes which was nice. This place has so much potential and I think could be an amazing stay during any season with a few fixes. I'd definitely come stay here again as we mostly had a pleasant stay despite a few setbacks, but with so many hotels nearby I'd probably try another resort first.

When I spoke to the manager, Patrick, about it, he tried to claim it was disclosed on the website. It wasn't, not in any meaningful way -- just a tiny line buried at the very end of the property description. Expecting guests to dig for that before booking is misleading at best. The room itself is old, worn out, and doesn't feel clean. Our outdoor space is littered with garbage, nails, and screws, an actual hazard, especially with kids around. When we brought all of this to Patrick's attention, his "solution" was to offer to move us to another property -- for an extra $200 a night. So the resort's own oversight becomes our bill to pay. It's hard to walk away from that interaction feeling like management cares at all about the people staying here. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else until this property gets its act together.

And then you get this bathroom that is so big have they just trimmed back the bathroom the room would feel better all in all it was clean and nice and we would certainly visit again.
