I wish the texture was pillowy and the flavor of the donut itself higher quality (since these donuts are marketed as specialty/gourmet). They shine based on what fancy flavor is put on top. The Boston cream one was everyone's favorite. The cider donut was a great cake donut. The Homer was also a cake donut. I prefer a cake donut over yeast. But, the glaze was great. Spoke to the owner and it was a little late in the day for them. Most are sold to restaurants. I have to be back in Poughkeepsie Monday. She's going to save a half a dozen for me. The place looks very clean and well organized. I noticed that they had off to the side, the tongs and pizza serving trays. Go to any bakery in CDMX, and you'll see the same thing.
