The place looks very clean and well organized. I noticed that they had off to the side, the tongs and pizza serving trays. Go to any bakery in CDMX, and you'll see the same thing. We did sit outside after 5 and it got busy as folks drove in and walked up after work. So, for us..I told hubby he didn't need to buy anything because he already had sweets in the hotel room. However once he had a look at the cases, he just had to buy something! His favorite is the lobster tail and cannoli and I had to get the black and white cookie. We sat outside and since I had to be on a call, hubby went in for a strawberry ice. No chocolate until the weekend . A couple of bites of the black and white cookie for me right away. It's not overly make my teeth rattle sweet and the crumb is very much like a cake. I ate the rest after dinner and it quickly had hardened. Hubby LOVED the lobster tail. 5 out of 5. Hubby took a taste of the cannoli and gave it a thumbs up. He enjoyed the water ice more than Ralph's because it wasn't as icy. Local businesses are so important to the local community and it seems that La Deliziosa is holding its own. Regardless let's keep them going!

I believe they are the only bread bakery, still around this area, that bakes their own bread from scratch on the premises. Most Supermarket chains will tell you that they bake theirs fresh. What they don't tell you is, it comes in frozen and they bake it in the back, if that much. It's like a Pillsbury biscuit, you buy it at the store in a raw state, you take it home and bake it. Not quite the same thing, as truly homemade. They have a variety of baked goods, stuffed pastas, and Italian delicacies on the shelf. To me, the prices seemed very reasonable. The staff is always helpful and cheerful. There's sufficient parking and a few handicap spots near the door. It's clean and it's organized.
