Overall a lovely place to take the family. Lots of space for kiddos to roam, play, eat outdoors. I got a plain vanilla cone and it tasted very fresh and simple- you can tell there is no added junk. The service was good, it did seem to get very busy around 1pm and the workers did their best to keep everything straight. My only complaint is there are ALOT of ice cream choices! I got very overwhelmed trying to order for my family of 4- i guess I will have to visit again ( it was like trying to order at Starbucks for the 1st time, lol - I did not know what to pick!).

Really cute place for some ice cream or food! I really like their flavors and creamy ice cream. My only woe is the price, spending over $10 for 2 ice cream cones hurts a little

Love this local ice cream shop. The portions are big and their flavors are delicious. I really don't have anything to say other than you gotta try it. It's a good dessert place for ice cream.

The cube of ice in my peach ice cream at Zoe's

I can't understand why this place is so hyped up and busy! Especially when every flavor is so light it almost always taste like Vanilla with a few drops of flavoring that you can hardly tell what it is you ordered. At least when you order Ben and Jerry's Cherry Alice cream you can taste the cherries I couldn't taste any peaches in my peach ice cream this time! This trip there was more Ice Cubes then cream in my ice cream I couldn't taste any even take a picture of the ice cube! Last it very expensive! I couldn't taste any buy 3 gallons in the store fire the price of three scoops here!

I was expecting a lot more from this place. I was trying to find a homemade ice cream place, and I found one which was this place . It was a bit of a drive to get there, and then we gotten here the place was not packed at all. It was a bit on the expensive side. I decided to try two different kinds of flavors. I should have just gotten the vanilla flavor. The ones I got were cheesecake and peanut butter, it was alright. I also asked to try a sample, and the lady behind the counter said well we don't do samples , but since it's not busy, I guess we can give you a sample." I wouldn't come back here.

We found this place on our drive down from the catskills. Open on a monday so that was a plus! When you walk in. It smells like fresh ice cream. If you know that smell you know it They had some soft serve and also homemade by the scoops. So i ordered the chocolate raspberry. Had fresh raspberries and the peanut butter brownie was good wish it had brownie bits in it It is literally an old barn so the upper areas have little kittens (fake) that were on hay barrels which would typically happen in. A barn Place was busy with lots of seats outside and inside. Picnic tables The burgers looked good but we already had eaten a few miles away. Would love to stop here again on the way down to break up the drive back home!

3.5: simple foods and homemade ice cream They tout that they use local dairy products which is nice. The food is decent; the chicken sandwich was hearty (onions, tomato, cheese, lettuce, mayo, pickles, bacon, brioche bread) and the chicken not dry surprisingly. The burger was good but the server didn't ask how we wanted the burger so it was a little more rare than we would have liked; we also forgot to say, but attention to detail could be better on the server side. The fries were also disappointing because they were really thin and crispy, not plump and juicy. They have a selection of homemade hard ice cream and some soft ice cream, as well as premade ice cream cakes and pies, eggs, milk. I had the pumpkin cheesecake hard ice cream which was good but not super creamy. Good ice cream that's better than chains, but not the best. You order at the counter and they call your name. There are a few tables and it seems like they could do a better job wiping up the tables. They also sell maple syrup, honey and dog treats.

It's amazing how they make their own ice cream using fresh, quality ingredients and they have a great variety of farm fresh food as well. There's something for everybody. I got the orange pineapple ice cream in a small cup and they gave a good portion. There's also an option to add toppings for extra. I hope to come back next time to try one of their unique flavors in season!

Cute place with yummy hot dogs and fries. The burgers and ice cream looked delicious but we were just making a quick stop through. The staff was friendly and welcoming and as we were leaving the place was filling up with all the little league players, showing what a family place this is.

After the food came, asked for napkins 3 different times from the bartender and only got them when we asked a server walking by from the dining room. Also took forever to get water. Coming from a bartender and server, I have a lot of patience and understanding for wait times etc. However there was not one person at the bar. The bartender was training one person. As he made the drinks for the large party, he couldn't seem to quickly hand us napkins or get out water. After I asked the second time for water, he said "yeah sure" and went over and started to make a mojito or some other multi step drink. Again, if you know how to multi task you can just grab two waters quickly, and/Or at least communicate. No acknowledgment of these things and not one person checked on us.

Good place to get good portioned, slightly elevated diner classics in a neighborhood bar setting…read more My wife and I came in for weekday lunch, and found it to be a good experience. I had marked Junior's as a place to go for a meal while planning our Northeast US trip. Don't remember why, assuming I must have read it in a 'best of Poughkeepsie' guide on some webpage. So when we finished our tour of the Vanderbilt mansion around lunchtime, we took the winding path to get here in 20 minutes (located about 5 miles Northeast of downtown Poughkeepsie). The interior was newer, and wasn't too crowded. One waitress/bartender was running front of house and was extremely helpful and friendly. It's a townie bar, where everyone seemed to know each other. Restaurants like these depend on the mercy of delivery, and found out after we ordered that two of our choices (Clams Casino and Buffalo Wings) were not available. Instead, my wife got the Fish & Chips ($20), with me getting the recommended Ribeye Melt ($21). Blue moon was on tap, so got that (way overpriced at $9 for 12 oz). The fish dish promised us 3 beer-battered cod loins, and it delivered. Each piece was large and had been expertly deep fried. The fries were thick and crisp, and the same ramekin of cole slaw was perfect. Even though none of it was homemade, for me, it was one of the best fish fries I've had in a while. My recommended Ribeye sandwich was great as well. I really liked the crunchy and solid ciabatta bread, and the meat and cheese was generous, and tender/melty respectively. The fries were good, expertly prepared, not too greasy. This is the kind of diner I like...where the food comes mostly pre-prepared, but it's clear they have a really good food supplier, and are able to keep the food prices down.
