All of the stuff that was written in the contract was NOT performed, nor was the work that his original assistant Darla, followed. His new assistant has completely changed the game as far as his original work ethic was concerned, and for this i will never be recommending his firm again! Way to lose a huge fan Gregg!

Our case had to do with obtaining managing conservatorship over our grandchildren after a tragic car accident killed our daughter. We tried to handle the legal filings ourselves through the court, but the judge advised us to get a lawyer to better handle the complexities. We searched online and selected this law firm mainly due to its dealings with the designated courthouse and reviews. Once we met with the attorney, he said all the right things that made us feel like the case would have the urgency that we felt. We signed the paperwork and sent in our retainer so we could get started right away. From that point on it was a nightmare. Specifically, the issues consisted of little to no communication unless we initiated it, egregious mistakes on paperwork, unprofessionalism and no urgency. Once we realized this, we decided it was not working and fired them. We even sent the lawyer a list of constructive criticism based on our experience to help them with future clients. He completely dismissed it and even said that was not the way he saw things. In fact, after obtaining zero results on our case this firm charged us almost the entire retainer! Yes, that's right and in hindsight it really felt like they only wanted to bill every penny they could instead of focusing on completing the case. We are grandparents just trying to do the right thing for our grandkids and feel taken advantage of. This is why we wanted to get our experience out there as a warning to those of you searching for a firm to handle your case. We made a terrible choice here and don't want you to do the same. We have retained a new firm and could not be happier as the experience has been a night and day difference. I only wish we would have started there and not had to go through this nightmare and complete waste of money and time.

What could have been an overwhelming and stressful experience was made so much easier because of their professionalism, communication, and genuine care. Brian, leads an exceptional team. His leadership and experience were clear throughout my case. I always felt confident knowing he was behind the scenes guiding everything and making sure my case was handled strategically and thoroughly. He fought hard for me and made decisions with my best interest in mind. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and the outcome of their cases. Tetiana was the one who kept me informed every step of the way. She consistently updated me on what was happening, explained things clearly, and made sure I never felt left in the dark. Anytime I had a question or needed clarification, she was responsive, patient, and reassuring. Her communication made a huge difference during a time when uncertainty can be very stressful. Kristen was always there to help me whenever I needed assistance. No matter how small the question or concern, she treated me with kindness and respect. She made sure paperwork, appointments, and details were handled smoothly. Her support made the entire process feel organized and manageable. What stands out most about this firm is how they work together as a team. They are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to their clients. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone to use them if you've been in an accident, or like my case that had multiple cars and 18 wheelers. I've practiced law in Dallas for almost a half-Century. I'm well aware of Personal Injury…read morepractice; those who advertise heavily have to settle quickly, cheap, in volume, to afford the tv commercials. Almost everything is handled by non-lawyer employees. Insurance companies know that, they make way-low offers, which are almost always taken. Two friends were injured in a classic wreck, they had the green light, middle of the intersection, a driver on his phone plowed through, hitting the Right-Side Door. Car video caught it all. One of the injuries was unusual, the passenger's hearing was dramatically affected. I called a couple retired PI lawyers I respected, described the case; after two of them suggested Marc Lenahan, I quit and called Mark. He has a reputation in the legal community of taking cases with unique injuries and pursing them vigorously. The clients were amazed: he called and talked with them for over an hour, explained how he practiced, their options to choose other counsel, talked about their damages, "If you do want to hire me, here's my address, call and make an appointment." The Insurance Company Adjuster made offers that were insulting, a couple thousand dollars, take it or leave it. Marc called, "We can reject it, file suit, that will likely get the attention of somebody above the Adjuster." Marc did. And, a couple months later called to say he'd gotten 100% of the Policy Limits. On both claims! Many PI lawyers only take "major" cases that may net them beaucoup bucks. This wasn't "major", just two good people whose lives were changed forever by a careless driver. Mark handled it the same way he would a million-dollar case. Dallas Personal Injury lawyers know about each other. I've never practiced PI, those I know and trust sent me to Marc. And he got my friends every cent available. He stayed in contact with them, kept them fully aware, gave them a complete accounting of how their payments were computed. Ethics are a major part in law practice. From what I saw, Marc's are of the highest.

Mark and his associates not only did a fantastic job, but constantly kept me up to date and involved, even bringing in a financial expert for what proved to be incredibly important advice on how to handle my end of the settlement. They were nice and easy to talk to. They decided to take my case and then pulled back by saying they had too many cases at the time. Which was fine. I really loved the initial contact with them so I came back in January and spoke with Teresa again who said she was pleased that I called back because another lady had similar experiences to mines with the same employer and would review my case and let me know. I received the run around for two months. I've called and got BS'd around why she couldn't talk or reasons why she was not in. I got told several times she left for the day early and I remained PATIENT AND POLITE. Today I called and, having a better relationship with the receptionist instead of the actual lawyer, I started talking to her about my experience. She tells me Theresa has notes that there are things I should be doing... that's basically her work ! I asked what they were because I have spoken to no one. I tell the receptionist that's what you're charging 34% for. All of a sudden the Teresa, who left for the day early, was available and I hear her in the background saying that the receptionist could transfer me. I get transferred and Teresa tries to tell me that I'm stressed. I informed her that I'm DEFINITELY NOT but I am frustrated because I respected her and her time and that was not done for me. I called several times and never got answers. Teresa. She NOW tells me (how convenient) that they have too much of a workload and that my case is denied. It was funny hearing this now that she's pissed because I'm telling her that it's ridiculous how long have waited. However, although I am extremely frustrated I never disrespected her. I remained true to myself and am proud of that. It's disheartening the way I was treated in this situation but life goes on. Without clients you guys would have no cases. So TREAT EVERYONE with respect because we give you jobs. I'm unsure if I can go to the BBB but I definitely will try because if there are deadlines for me to file my claim and I miss it... I just spent 2 months waiting on a phone call.

I finally had to file with the Bar. I have never wrote a review or took any type of action against someone's livelihood but this man is absolutely the most unethical, lazy, unprofessional, not knowledgeable, attorney I have ever came across. Attorney fees constantly change, very little effort or communication, in fact just plan on doing the work yourself. I could go on and on. He has lied to me about the work he was doing on my case to find out nothing was done. He then dodged my emails and repeated and repeated request for my own signed documents to be emailed to me were ignored. He's has his own personal court issues going on also. Which should definitely be a red flag. I will from this point always read reviews on anyone that I am going to spend a significant amount of money on. After talking to many people in the court system I have also learned his reputation and credibility is also shot. He's just terrible. I was so disappointed how he handled everything. Also expect 2 am text messages (very professional right?). Huge fail on our part for hiring him. He quit in the middle of our case left us high and dry. Luckily everything worked out for us without his representation but he is messing with peoples lives and it's wrong. I hope some form of disciplinary action is taken. It's cruel and unfair to mislead and cheat people just for money. Also his fees are outrageous and somehow the balance significantly goes up after payments instead of going down. Sketchy!

BE AWARE OF THIS INCOMPETANT AND CROOKED ATTORNEY!!!…read more After completely botching her DWI case, he actually told my wife she could drive on a suspended license and if she got pulled over she could just lie to the police and tell them she didn't know it was suspended. This was right after he had informed her that her license had been suspended! This was all on recording so we have proof of his illegal actions. This man is a con man and a liar, and because he made those statements will be reported to the Texas Bar and Texas AG accordingly. So to shed some light on how he botched the case, he told her license was suspended (until 11/4/2022) before it actually had been. As such she refrained from driving based on what Servando, her attorney informed her, costing us in lost income and other inconveniences, when in fact she could have driven that entire time. He failed due diligence and did not properly represent his client. After the time came and went, she was in process of renewing her license, when he reaches out to tell her that her license was suspended again (or actually this was the first time it was suspended, he previously provided incorrect information carelessly) Now her license is suspended (for real this time) until June 2023! Servando wants to wash his hands of the situation and could care less about the damages he has caused us in LOST INCOME and inconveniences due to HIS ERROR! We are preparing to file a civil lawsuit and report his ethical violations to the proper authorities. Below is the clip of the email he sent my wife, incorrectly informing her of her license being suspended when it was not: On Fri, Jul 22, 2022 at 11:48 AM servando@mchazlettlawfirms.com mchazlettlaw@gmail.com wrote: Your license suspension is set to expire on November 4, 2022. For the record, you should not be driving. There were other areas of the case he botched also, and when I reached out to him to try and amicably resolve the issues, he acted like he had done us a favor, refused to take any accountability for his errors and called me, a disabled veteran, an ungrateful b*stard. This "attorney" should be avoided at all costs.
