I'd like to give this place 5 stars for the space, 3 stars for the food and 3 stars for the service. Food was good but wasn't stand out which was disappointing. We had the pretzel to start and the cheese sauce served with it was like a chili cheese sauce you get on a hot dog but the pretzel was soft and good. I had the Prefunk burger and my husband got The Pig tacos. The waitress didn't ask how I wanted it cooked so I assumed it was well done because of food safety but my burger was bleeding and had a red center. It was a good burger even if it wasn't to my exact preference and was messy. The sweet potato fries are good, waffle cut. My husband was impressed by the size of the 3 tacos he got, but was not impressed by the flavor. I tried them and they were room temp and bland. The hostess that sat us wasn't exactly upbeat or friendly and it was the same for our waitress. The table next to us, sat down after us, got their drinks before we did. There just wasn't any personality to the staff that I could see. The space is amazing though. While I was freezing sitting next to a window in November (they seemed to have the AC on) the outdoor space looks like it'd be great in summer. And the restaurant goes on forever, there's a second level outdoor deck and other sections you don't even see from the main entrance. Lots to look at and we'd be interested in doing a tour. read more

Definitely belongs with the top breweries in Bend. I stopped here for dinner after a day of Central OR fun. The first thing that jumps off is the scale of the place...it's massive! It's a tad too polished for my taste, but maybe that's just me. We bypassed the wait for a table and bellied up at the bar. The Worthy IPA is worth the hype, very tasty and perfect on a hot summer day. I had the burger to go with it, and it was absolutely delicious...cooked & seasoned perfectly. Another cool fact. The wood used in the building is from the old Oregon Insane Asylum, where they filmed "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Great job Worthy...looking forward to my return visit. read more

Wonderful space, good food and nice range of beer. I can say, categorically that this is probably the best looking brewpub I have ever been to. From the full parking lot, to the hops growing outside all the way to the building itself, this is a place that means business in terms of establishing itself and extending out to become a great multi use space. The interior is wonderfully decorated, spacious and takes that typical brewpub aesthetic and turns it up to 11. The real star, during the warmer/dryer days, is the outside area. picnic tables all well shaded and spaced appropriately are placed throughout the patio and a new area for music is placed outside. Presumably for bands to come. The beer selection at Worthy is quite tasty, though heavy on the IPAs (this, I don't mind, but if you aren't an IPA fan, your selection will be reduced). The menu is really respectable, but the star are the wood fired pizzas. If I have any complaints about this establishment, though, it is that the service was not quite what I hoped. We were outright forgotten for the first 15 minutes we were there (no water, no nothing) and the pizza, while tasty, could have used some tweaks.. We ordered the Homegrown, and though the menu says "roasted garlic" what we had were full cloves that were just cooked, not so much roasted. While we are garlic fans, I can say that this much concentrated garlic was just overpowering with each bite. Even chopping the cloves would have went a long way to helping execute an otherwise tasty pie. Overall, a very positive experience and one we can't wait to live again. read more

I'll be honest, I only know their beer and their IPA gets 5 stars hands down. We were fortunate to win a kegerator at the kids annual fundraiser two years ago, it came with a 6 barrel of Worthy IPA, we've never deviated from this. Worthy donated the keg for the fundraise. I'm so glad it came with, because I don't know that I would have every tried it otherwise. It's a little hard to track down, we buy it through a local distributor, Worthy doesn't sell directly. That said, the distributor always takes the time to track one down for us. Great beer. I did go in a couple of weeks ago to buy some pint glasses, $3 a piece - I bought 6, plus a t-shirt. The gal helping me was very nice, very helpful. I left with a great Christmas gift for my guy for $30. All good in my book. If you haven't tried their IPA, it's worth a look. read more

Eating at Worthy on a sunny afternoon was the perfect (and I mean PERFECT) ending to a day of exploring Bend. We got to sit out on the patio under an umbrella with the most perfect breeze, and sip on their wonderful creations. Although... I don't think I can rightfully take the credit for the beautiful weather from the Almighty and give it to Worthy... but I can give them credit for capitalizing on it with an awesome patio setup. Their food was da bomb diggity. We ordered the pear, prosciutto gluten-free pizza with goat cheese (not my usual jam), and it was delish. I'm a cider girl, so I don't have much feedback on their brews. However, their cider was blissfully tart and was most definitely conducive to mass consumption. Which of course I would never do... because I'm a lady. If you're in the Bend area, I highly recommend checking out this brewery on a sunny afternoon. read more

New menu is not so great. Awesome staples we would go there for such as the coconut chowder have been replaced for pub style mediocre food. Chowder today was literally flour water with no seasonings and no flavor. Super sad. read more

As a Bend local, Worthy is one of my favorite breweries. Their Peace Pipe Porter is incredible. I look forward to it's appearance each winter. The Lights Out Stout is also great. The pizza is delicious and I appreciate they have a veggie burger too. Service is usually awesome. The one time our food took too long, the manager made sure to make us happy. Worthy FTW!! read more

Recently went to worthy while traveling. Was recommend by the hotel we stayed at, and we regretfully wish we didn't come here. The service was good, nice employees but the management is horrible. A server was dealing with a very difficult customer and NO manager came to help her. Guy was yelling and making us feel uncomfortable because he was so rude to her. Poor girl just had to take it and hope for the best. HELLO where is your management support? We went back to the hotel and told them maybe they should recommend a different place. read more

This was our first time at Worthy, and we had a pretty great experience overall. We had a large party (20 people) and they seemed to be VERY willing to help us with any needs. We began outside, GREAT patio area. Live music was a plus. It got windy and chilly so we were able to get a table inside. We ended up having to split the table between two servers, which was odd because that meant our food came out at separate times, but not a big deal at all. I had the baked mac with bacon, and a salad. Holy crap it was amazing!!!!! My husband had the steelhead tacos. Spicy, But good! My little one had the kids Mac. Not quite as tasteful as mine (lucky me!) but he loved it. Our server was super nice, and was quick with our drinks and tabs when ready. I wish I knew her name. She wore a cute sunflower print shirt. All of you wrinkling your noses up and turning into a five-year-old at the mere mention. Forget the days of yo momma boiling them and force feeding you for it is 2018 and this is the place to go, order them and indulge. I'm thinking we need to start a roasted brussel sprout competition right here in the high desert. Bring your fancy chefs in their fancy hats and fancy ways and let Worthy show you how it's done. Came here for lunch on 4/17 and had an excellent visit. We were seated right away on the patio with our dog, and they immediately brought out a bowl of water for our dog. Ordered a couple of beers and some Brussel sprouts (highly recommend). We shared a burger and some sweet potato fries and everything tasted great. They even had food for our dog, we got him chicken with carrots and cucumber. To top it all off we got to charge our car for free. We will definitely be back soon. read more

Stopped in for dinner during our short stay in Bend. There are so many great breweries in Bend, which one do you choose?? Well, Worthy has excellent food to accompany a nice selection of brews. Stopped by for lunch on a business lunch, and I will definitely be returning. This place has character, class, space for everyone, nice/plentiful patio seating, and great beers. The brewers are from Laurelwood in Portland, and it shows! Well done on your IPAs!!! The food menu is great: there are stone-fired pizzas, brew apps, burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and a kick-a$$ clam chowder! Yum!! Our first stop on the Bend Ale Trail, Worthy was a good way to start our trip through the breweries of Bend. The place was pretty busy, and the service was "ok". It seemed like they had so much going on that the wait staff couldn't be bothered. However, those slinging beer at the bar were professional and courteous. The beer was a little better than mediocre, but still not in my top 10. I tried the sampler and found it to be a nice range of light to dark goods. I made the mistake of drinking the wickedly hoppy IPA far too soon in the tasting (just to get it out of the way), which kind of soured the taste buds for the other beer and turned my stomach a little (as most IPA's do). Not their fault, just way to hoppy for my liking. I think the Light's Out Stout was a little bland as well. If you come by, be prepared to wait and expect the same sort of scene as though you were hanging at the Deschutes brewery. read more

But the cheese and grits cake was delicious and the squash was superb. Not usually into a darker breading but it was crunchy and didn't fall off. The aioli was not to sweet with the right amount of spice. Still juicy when I reheated the leftovers the next day. Will definitely be back for more fried chicken. read more

This place was really nice. We were lucky to get a table on a busy weekday evening. Plexiglass between each table and everyone is masked up. The kids pizzas were awesome-not those half ass pizzas other people serve to kids. Real, wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients in miniature. I had an amazing bowl of mushroom soup and loaded fries both of which were fantastic. Hubs had a burger and loved it. Beer flight was successful. Service was friendly and the vibe was great. I'm only docking one star because I felt like the menu was pretty limited. Great if you want burgers or pizzas, but not a whole lot beyond that. read more

But when the food arrived, the fries were cold and the hamburger (which we asked be medium-well) was raw on the inside. We were seated right away but then waited about 15 minutes to place a drink order. When we got our drinks the lady forgot my wife's beer and we waited another 10 minutes for her to come back. When we asked her about it she said oh I thought you ordered a water. When finally were able to order food which proceeded to take an hour to come out to us and that truly isn't an exaggeration. Once it arrived my corned beef was dry like shoe leather my wife's fish and chips were iced cold as well as the kids burger and fries. My nephews ribs were the only thing edible and warm. Everything was so bad that we left and went to the Bend Brewing Company to get some edible food. I will be shocked if I ever go back here. If I could leave zero stars I would have read more

We have been here twice and neither time wowed us. The service has always been just so so. The setting is great - a huge outdoor patio with lots of seating, dog friendly, everything we look for in an outdoor space. But somehow the atmosphere still does not feel very inviting. I can not put my finger on what is missing, just a vibe that does not feel great. The beers are not bad, the Mr had the Saison and this visit I got a sangria that was very yummy. We have never eaten here, menu is varied, but looks a little overpriced in my opinion. We sat at the bar for dinner. The bartender knew we were ordering food, as we advised when we ordered beers. The bartender didn't come back over for at least 20 minutes. He was too busy chit chatting with other staff members. I ordered a burger and it was dry and flavorless. We wanted to order another beer but the bartender just came by once after food was delivered. Then to top it all off, when we cashed out, we had to select a tip right in front of the server off of a little machine. Good thing my husband signed because i would not have left a good tip. When Worthy Brewing first opened they were top notch. Great food and great beer! Great service too. In the last month, their food quality has declined. They had the best BLT in Bend. Now, it's not even on the menu. They're Pangloss Porter was one of the best porters I never drank. Again, no longer on the menu. Their coconut milk clam chowder was to die for. Now it's some fish conglomeration with dairy. Can't eat it. The wait staff was very consistent with good service. Now, seems like a bunch of new hires who aren't interested in the business. I work a wonderfully rewarding job that requires me to venture across this wonderful state on occasion. I have been traveling through Bend, OR the last couple trips and my co-worker (not my mistress, yet) took me here for dinner. It was purely professional and I dare you to say anything else! We were with a group, and to even think there was anything other than joy strictly from the food would be drastic. We gazed into each other's eyes while we one-throated chicken wings the size of baby arms. Sure, we were thinking that later that night we could rendezvous in the hotel our employer paid for, but in that moment, the wings had us feeling pure ecstasy suitable for the workplace. I would be reminded of my happy marriage by the marriage of sauce and chicken meat in my mouth. I came back to reality and decided that if I ever wanted to go on another work venture to Worthy's I would have to limit the sucking of meat off the bone to the restaurant and not the beautiful hotel across the street. read more

After a little encouragement the four of us went back to Worthy after a day of geocaching :). When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff and chose a nice quiet table. The beer was great, but this is Bend so you have to be great. Our food was well prepared and yummy. We split the fish and chips which was flaky with just the right amount of batter. We also had the slice and salad and again spot on as well as salad with quinoa! But the most important thing was the attentiveness of the staff. You could really tell that they wanted to make sure we were taken care of and it showed up big time. Thanks for a great experience, we will be back! read more

This place is pretty great. We come to Sunriver/Bend every summer and we make it a point to hit up Worthy every time. Love the food and beer. The burgers are tasty and the Far Out Fries are flipping delicious. It's got a great vibe and the outdoor area is really nice. Just try to get a spot under an umbrella or canopy because that Bend sun is blazing in the summer months. The only knock I have is the service. It wasn't bad this last time but it was pretty slow and our server could have checked on us a little more often. If not for that, I would've given them 5 stars. But I'll keep going back and it's well worth a try if you've never been. read more

Stopped in for lunch today (Wednesday, June 10, 2020); my first time visiting Worthy. Don't let the crappy location (surrounded by strip malls and apartment buildings) keep you away - this place is good. The grounds are really cool, especially if you like nature and organic concepts. It is really nice to see a business with landscaping that recognizes Bend is a desert. There were a fair number of people at the brewery, especially on the patio, but social distancing was being practiced by all. COVID precautions are in place. You will be seated by a hostess in an appropriately socially distant manner. We were handed three menus: one for beer, one for wine/cocktails/desserts, and one for food. The expectation right now is that you order and pay at the bar then the food is brought to your table. The ladies behind the bar were all very friendly and efficient. I ordered a Worthy Lager and my wife ordered the Sangria - both were tasty. For food I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich (delicious) with fries and my wife had the summer salad with chicken. For dessert I had the root beer float and my wife had the brownie (she really wanted the Marion berry hand pie but they were out). I'll definitely be back. read more

First of all let me say I don't drink beer so this is purely a review of the restaurant. We stopped here for lunch and the service and the food was excellent. I have the chili and a Caesar salad with chicken. The chili was terrific spiced just right. Cesar salad was good other than the chicken was a little bit pain. We sat outside it was a lovely day the venue was nice and we were certainly not forgotten as several different wait staff made sure to take care of us throughout our visit. First time trying out Worthy Brewing, the one star was for the Sparrow Backery pretzel and beer cheese and the beer. but the food was awful. My hubby ordered their burger with the beer cheese on it. The burger was unseasoned and looked and tasted like a costco brand frozen patty, I had the chicken sando, also no seasoning was a very boring tasteless sandwich for 15 $$. The waitress never asked how our meal was and at the end when we said how awful the burger was she gave some tokens. That is nice but hopefully they fix the issue of tasteless food. read more
