But There are 2 secret menus you have to ask for if you are in the know 1. The dim sum menu 2. The Chinese specials menu This gem serves dim sum all day everyday. EVERYDAY! Get your sui mai and har gow fix any day of the week. There is a dumpling with pork and peanuts in the middle, which is unique to Grand Fortune, but super delicious! The Secret Chinese menu has the wide rice noodle dish, special roasted duck, pork in fermented black bean sauce and other authentic Chinese dishes you can't find in Omaha. Heard from a Chinese Food influencer, and I whole heartedly agree, Chinese restaurants should have a 3 - 3.5 star rating. Raters should talk about the "rude" service, but talk about the good food. Here, the service is given by people of Chinese Heritage who were raised to be efficient, focus on the task (take order bring food) and not be icky-sweet and waste time. This is that place. The waitstaff is on task - take order bring food. There is no fluff. I got served freshly made hot food that I really enjoy. I am rating on the food and the traditional Chinese service.

What can I say, transparency is an attractive trait on a restaurant…read more Started off with their Crab Rangoons, neatly plated with some great drizzle. Very little crab flavor, and its texture was damn near close to ricotta cheese but they were DELISH! Anyone else save the corners for a little texture in their next dish? No? Just me? Yall, I am telling you... their Peanut Butter Chicken was PHENOMENAL, and definitely have some real peanut on board. MUCH appreciated that. Their breading to chicken was by far, near perfection. More protein than breading is always a win-win in my book... it was like little puffs of breading, versus cakey/battery. Comes with your choice of steamed or fried rice, egg drop soup or hot and sour soup. Their Hot and Sour was SO good, with just the right amount of tofu. Highly recommended either honestly. Now the Sesame Chicken? Dare say I should've gotten that dish? It too, was AMAZING. Especially with those warm green peppers, onion, rich brown sauce that has just the right amount of garlic that made me ask kindly, with doey eyes, for a second piece off my husbands plate. SO good! We brought home a good amount for left overs tomorrow; assuming they last till midnight... We must've gotten in at the right time, because she was BUSYYYY with maybe 3 of the 15 (I could be completely off!) tables. Staff didn't just stick to one table, they were definitely tag teaming and that was neat to watch them work so well. We got checked on a few times and they're attentive as heck! We will DEFINITELY be back to try some of that Garlic Chicken and Cashew Chicken, extra cashews.

I ordered Kung Pao Chicken from their Authentic menu. He ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken from their Chinese American menu. We also ordered soups. Hot & Sour for me and Dumping for him. Both entrees were delicious. Authentic Kung Pao Chicken is the same as Chinese American Kung Pao Chicken except they use dark meat. That dark meat was so tender and moist! You must have their hot & sour soup. I think it's better than I've had in SFO or LA Chinatown. Go!

Nothing special to…read morewrite about the dine in portion since I think most of their customers are "to go" orders or delivery. The bao were good, but nothing spectacular. I'll try the other items on their menu if we ever get a chance to come back.

We had one of our Supper Club group outings at Hip Bao a while back, and I have ordered delivery…read moreorders from them many times since. Each and every time, it has been consistently delicious and affordable! The ambiance when eating in is very colorful and fun. The staff we interacted with were all great about any questions we had or recommendations we asked for. We started with the Pork Potstickers. They were juicy and full of meat (no skimping, here!) that was perfectly cooked, along with plenty of sauce for dipping. Another starter we tried as the Dumpling Soup that comes inside a dumpling and gooshes out when you cut into it. The soup inside was salty and delicious, and I loved the style it was served in. Our last starter was the Beijing Noodle Soup. It came with Asian noodles, minced bits of pork, and lots of shredded veggies. It reminded me of a few other ramens I've had, but with a twist on it, as the meat was minced so it was a lot easier to have a bit of the meat in each bite/slurp! After our starters and soups, we obviously had to get a few bao buns each - I think we probably tried all of them when all was said and done. They have both steamed and fried bao buns, and we tried both. They definitely had a different texture than each other, but I liked them both; they were just different styles. My favorite was the pork fried bao bun. I liked the chicken and the beef steamed options too, but the pork seemed to work best as the protein along with the fried bao texture. Everything we had on our first visit (and that I've had in my subsequent orders) has been absolutely delicious and cooked expertly - so I don't think you can go wrong with anything you try!
