Several other vendors didn't respond, or didn't get me a bid promptly. Dennis was all about good customer service. Compared to going and renting a machine, and taking time away from work to do this myself it was a big savings of my time to have our driveway done. The machine rental alone would have been more than half coolbright's cost and would have added even more time as I drove back and forth to get it and drop it off. Dennis left everything looking great and cleaned up the mess that results from blasting crud off the driveway, too. I checked Coolbright out on the Washington dept of labor and industries website before I hired him and he has his license and more importantly his liability insurance in order, so I knew if something unexpected were to happen, his insurance would be there to pay for it. You should always check on a contractor's insurance. A very positive experience and I'll definitely call Dennis again.

Each time he has left debris all over our driveway. Each time, he has not come over and extended a courtesy of asking us to move a car so he wouldn't cover it in dirt & water. Last time, he didn't at least sweep off our drive. This time I asked him too. However, he had already destroyed the detail on the car. Since this is the second time it's happened - I'm going to leave a reminder here. The car was literally detailed yesterday & now the whole side and top is covered in dirt / debris. I personally would never hire someone who has no regard for liability and neighborly concern. Sorry to have to do this. But, this is why Yelp exists - to see all sides of a business. I am hopeful in the future that the experience will be redeeming. Side-note: I understand that small businesses are struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic and need to survive. I support small business and think that landscapers & business such as these that are outdoors and isolated are fine. However, I don't think "pressure washing" is on the essential business list. So, there's a risk to the business if he gets caught right now.
