We recently hired Peak Pressure Washing to clean our roof and gutters. Their quote to do the job was very reasonable and, in fact, was half the price of one of the other companies that bid on the job. The job was very large and Dan and his team said it would take them from 9 am in the morning to 3 pm to finish the entire job. Not only was Dan and his team on time but they stayed an additional three hours to make sure they got the job done. Dan and his team are friendly, courteous, and hard-working. Dan noted we had many Japanese Maples around the house and came to us and told us that some of the chemicals they use can be detrimental to Japanese Maples and could cause some damage to them. Dan and his team went out of their way to vigorously wash off all the Japanese Maples to minimize the amount of chemicals left on them and mitigate any potential damage to them. We just had the peak guys here doing the full exterior cleanse. Huge transformation on our vinyl siding that I didn't think possible, frankly. I'm not sure anyone had professionally washed the siding since the house was built and my amateur attempts were just okay. My house looks new. All the moss and dirt is removed. Absolute 10/10, A++++++++ Dan completed a large scale power washing project for our townhome condo association in NW Portland that turned out (due to deferred maintenance that was our own fault) to be more of a "restoration" than a routine maintenance scope of work. He rose to the challenge and power washed all of our public and private walkways, patios, curbs, chimneys, and brickwork with amazing results!! Quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and strong communication makes Peak Power Washing a solid 10 out of 10! We can't recommend Dan and his team highly enough. An all round great experience! In simple terms, Dan is really nice guy who works hard, and cares about his work and making sure that everyone is satisfied with the results. From the very first phone call he was extremely responsive, calling back within minutes and coming out same day to take a look at the property. When we did the walkthrough, he asked the right questions and brought up things that we had not even considered and other contractors who had come out to do quotes had not mentioned. He quickly turned around a very reasonable, detailed quote which he was kind enough to rework as community feedback came in. He was understanding and patient as we navigated the process of getting HOA votes to approve the bid and answered our questions honestly every step of the way. We felt confident going into the project as he had established expectations well. The strong communication in the project work-up process continued throughout the work phase. He texted with any questions about the property as they came up. He and his two helpers were very careful not to damage our landscaping, and they minimized mess as much as possible. (Power washing is a necessarily messy process!) Precision was not sacrificed for speed. He was careful to pay close attention to getting every zone as clean as possible and mindful of not damaging surfaces and mortar by using too much pressure. Any time this became an issue he backed off pressure and let us know. Dan was gracious chatting with owners as they came up to ask about things during the process and he addressed everyone's concerns. After nearly 2 full days of hard work the power washing was completed and where we had become used to seeing mossy, dingy pathways and brick walls, we now saw clean surfaces that were glowing in the sunlight. Much to our appreciation, Dan spent half of the last day doing cleaning and touchup. He washed any splattered dirt off of our buildings, rinsed the parking lot of debris, and picked up straggling moss. We did an end-of-project walkthrough and multiple owners commented on how great of a job he had done. After he wrapped up, he sent a nice email listing any considerations that had come up during the project so we knew that if any areas looked different than others it was intentional and due to factors like not wanting to damage surfaces or mortar. Dan stands by his work and let us know that he's happy to address anyone's questions even though things are complete. It's this presence of mind and standing-by-his work that really takes Dan and Peak Power Washing over the top. There is simply NOT the "get it done and leave" mindset. Dan's philosophy of taking care of the customer, earning trust, and owning his work are admirable.
