I normally hate being trap in a small space ( little claustrophobic). But I was so distracted. I had such a wonderful time. The owner was extremely helpful in every step of the way. we had a big group so we were separated into two different rooms. I was in the group that was in the mommy room. The puzzles at Wreck are challenging, yet never sacrifice logic to increase difficulty. The guide helper we had was great at suggesting missed lines of thought rather than spoiler solutions. This wasn't my first escape room, but it was the first the rest of my family had done. My kids are 6 and 10 and absolutely loved it. We love Stranger Things so we tried out the room with that theme. And let me tell you, it was perfectly themed. Everything fit with the show so well and everyone had so much fun. We did the Area 51 room (2 adults and 1 child) and it was extremely elaborate and challenging, but lots of fun. We couldn't quite finish within the hour, and for the casual escape game player, this room has some great puzzles. Shane gave us helpful hints when we asked and this place is highly recommended. Exceptional experience! We've done many escape rooms around the state of Colorado. This one may be our favorite. Everything worked, puzzles were creative and the clues made sense without being too easy. It was just right for a family. Our youngest is 7 and was able to follow along and help solve the mystery. We have done upwards of over 30 escape rooms, and I am absolutely loving everything about Wreck Room. We have done both their Upside Down (very cool homage to Stranger Things - if you are a fan this will make you squee!) and the Jail Break room (such a fun concept with your group being split up between those brought in to jail and those who are trying to break them out). Loved them both. The puzzles flowed well, are challenging but not impossible, and there are so many pop culture easter eggs in both rooms - just serves as an added bonus to their already well thought out rooms. Immersion - 10 Puzzles - 10 Owners/Staff - 20! I love the fact that they also will not force you into groups with strangers, if you book a time (even with 2 people) it's your timeslot - so very fun to do with your significant other. Jail break requires 4 people min for the game play. Legit one of the better escape room experiences in CO! read more

Finished our 90th escape room with the Mummy's Tomb. Have done several with an Egyptian/ mummy theme, but this one, stood out with the immersion factor mixed with some technology of a second gen. Better than any other Egypt theme we've done in Denver and the puzzles both made sense and were challenging. Definitely 5/5 for both the Mummy's Tomb and Area 51. Been years since the Upside Down, but will try that one again shortly as the owner says it's upgraded. read more

Shane was great and he helped to make the experience more enjoyable. It was obvious how much attention to detail Shane included in the rooms. Plus, we loved the fact that we were not put in a room with another family (as some of the escape rooms do to make it more profitable.) This is SUCH a fun thing to do and it was really well put together!!! Sometimes it can feel like a fun desert by our house in Aurora, but the Upside Down room was SO creative, well thought out, and enjoyable. The owner was awesome, and he came to talk to us afterwards to download how we did. It was tough, but doable, and I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone for sure! The on-theme aspect was just so great as we loved stranger things, but you dont have to know it to do well. I came here about a month ago with some family. I live out of town and have done around 100 escape rooms. I definitely appreciated the flow and blend of old school and new school escape room concepts. All of the puzzles had logical ways to solve and figure out how to get from one to the next.
