The designer Shaun that we used was horrible to say the least, after we were done with the designs and had a problem with them, he didn't want to be bothered and told us we had to call customer service. The manager Kate is horrible too, the most unprofessional manager I've ever seen. Her attitude towards the customers is despicable. our deliveries were all wrong, not just once but three times they delivered the wrong cabinets and counter tops. The team at the Newington store in my opinion should all be fired. Please don't fall for the pretty showroom. Once you sign that contract, they want nothing to do with you. Buyer beware!!! read more

I am at the tail end of our kitchen renovation and wow I feel like I've lost 15 years off my life. The only thing that was enjoyable from this entire experience was going into their showroom to pick out my kitchen. Absolutely every step every that has been a NIGHTMARE. My designer was Darien and after we paid and left the day of the designing he did not see anything through and we did not ever hear from him after. We had to use our own installer (that wren recommended, who was also horrible, our own plumber, our own electrician) all extra costs separate of the materials. Our fridge and oven we were told were back ordered the day of delivery of everything else. The following day they called to say it we in stock and they would deliver it one week later. Wren comes the day of the delivery to just drop them off and leave them outside!!! They stated they couldn't bring them inside. After spending hours on the phone with my contact at wren i finally got escalated to Angel who tried to do his best but could not do much for us. Finally, they sent someone the next day to bring the fridge and oven ... they couldn't get it through the door!!! LOL. They come out to measure the house TWICE but they didn't measure the door area to make sure all the appliance can get in? They asked me to sign a waiver in order to take the door frame down or I'd have to wait "weeks" for a fridge and oven again. They completely destroyed our newly painted door frame, as in we need new walls AND door frame surrounding it, all out of pocket expenses we will have to pay for. Now we're waiting for the countertop, which I'm sure they will trouble with that too. They already told us one date and changed it to a later date. Should be fun. I will never NEVER NEVER use Wren in my life ever again and could not recommend ANY other company enough. I've lived through a kitchen renovation during the pandemic and that was a smoother process which says a lot. read more

I was impressed with the Milford Connecticut showroom but it's a bit of a mirage, because their new factory is just that, it's new! they are inexperienced hacks churning out many defective products especially all of our cupboard doors and frames. What's worse is that their installation fees are high but their installation quality is low. My family and my neighbors family (bought in Newington CT ) paid a pretty penny for kitchens that we could have gotten for less money (although in a less impressive showroom) and had more respectful and skilled installers put our kitchen into our homes. In the end, we worked real hard (and long) with a UK company trying to make a quick buck in the US and we paid too much for too little. And from I have come to learn, the negative reviews on here are only tip of the iceberg. Shop around. Dont get sucked in by the slick commercials and hype. Get your deposit returned if you left one! read more

My wife and I had been discussing the idea of remodeling our kitchen. After thirty years it was seriously outdated. Just by chance we were in Wilkes Barre PA. and noticed the grand opening of a place called Wren kitchens. Looks like a really nice store, so in we go. First thing through the door we are greeted by some folks that asked a bunch of questions about appointments and designers. I quickly asked them if we could just look around. Sure! they said. We will find you a designer. So much for just looking around. The store is beautiful the prices are reasonable, and Our designer Chris was great. We bought a kitchen. We installed it ourselves. I build furniture as a hobby. The quality of this stuff is second to none. Our kitchen is about 80% done supply chain issues are keeping us from finishing the job. (can not get the windows we need for the kitchen) but what is done is beautiful read more

Wren was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Our salesman, Lance spent three and a half hours with us in the very convenient mobile unit. He seemed so happy for us as we made our choices. We were called within a few days and given dates for everything-measurement, delivery, and installation of cabinetry. We subsequently were contacted with dates for granite countertop measurement and installation. All dates were adhered to; no delays, no changes. Everything went off as planned. The other perk was the cost. Wren's cost was all-inclusive-cabinetry, hardware, granite, all installations and they offer zero percent financing for five years with Wells Fargo. This company is professional, the products are beautiful, and everyone cares. I can't say enough and highly recommend them for anyone considering kitchen renovation. read more

The work started in the Summer and is still not complete! Wren sent several different contractors to address significant flaws in the installation that "Steve's" company made. Then in November, Daniel from customer service told me that she would make sure everything would be fixed. She sounded sincere and determined...But it looks like it was all talk and NO action! When that didn't work, they sent someone to inspect the job and found dozens of instances of improper installation of cabinets, drawers, spacers, etc. Eager to get a new contractor to fix this mess so we can move on, and a copy of the report detailing the deficiencies, seven days go by after several attempts contacting customer support without a response. In fact, I have always received a response after writing a review and when I contacted BBB. Every time I see Wren's new TV ads that are currently running in Connecticut I feel sick. Do not buy from Wrenn unless you want nothing more than alot of grief. My $35,000 kitchen is still incomplete in December despite the 3 day install starting in June. I am going to start a lawsuit and will be pursing Wells Fargo fraud dept due to the fact I have thousands of dollars of appliances that didn't arrive as well as other costs due to the poor install. Experience in the store great however install a nightmare. I would never buy again from them and would never recommend them. I had to spend thousands of dollars in having a project mgr. oversee the install process. Please stay away-its been a terrible experience. read more

We had a major overhaul on our kitchen. The design process was pain free and super helpful. Went with the Georgian style in Winter Blue. The staff at the Newington location were all so courteous and knowledgeable about the products. Going into the VR suite in the design process made things so easy to move drawers/cabinets/counters around in a fluid and practical manner. The contractor they hired for my kitchen was the renovations contractor that built their showroom so I was put at ease with that. The build team (hired by Wren, included in the price) were super neat and asked for feedback on certain options on the fly. The very knowledgeable quality control team came in to ensure the build process was top notch, showing obvious trust in the team they put in place. The whole process from start to finish was absolutely excellent, and we never felt out of the loop or stressed out about it. Thanks!!! read more

Also every time I had to contact them I spoke to a person and was not put on hold or ignored. I would actually give customer service a 5 star review. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Do not get sucked in by the showroom! Our process with Wren started in October 2021. We had just bought a house and were looking to fully redo the kitchen, we had driven past the showroom before and thought we'd go in. We were overwhelmed with all the kitchens and design ideas and quickly found ourselves making an appointment. We closed our kitchen contract at the end of October 2021. We had to call almost immediately after because we noticed that the wrong end panels and cabinet fronts were in the order (the first of many red flags) Luckily I was quick to realize this and we got it switched. The kitchen actually came on time and the delivery team was lovely and worked quickly. Our FIRST installer came and got to work, he installed quickly, and ended up installing our island on top of the painter's tape we had used to temporarily mark out where it was (he didn't remove the tape). He was unable to fully finish the install and informed us he would have to come back for some quick finishes. we were told that all the wall cabinets were done. We were also told that we could return the crown molding we had gotten from Wren, go to home depot and get crown that matched the rest of the space, and that our installer would install it for us with "NO PROBLEM". THIS IS A PROBLEM. We thought we were ready for the kitchen to be finished so we contacted Wren to send our contractor back to finish and were informed that that contractor is no longer used by Wren, its a wonder why, he installed cabinets crooked, and LIED to us about what was still outstanding. Our SECOND installer had to spend a full day with 5 workers there to "finish" the kitchen. There were pieces missing and we were told that our new installer can not in fact install the crown molding because its not a WREN product. I have spend over 3 hours on the phone with Wren to get my kitchen finished. its horrible. Do not use them. Go to the show room, get ideas and then run away. I am almost a full year into this kitchen install and now they are telling me that because my initial installer LIED about what could be done I am on the hook for an additional $3000. DO NOT USE WREN Kitchen. DO NOT get sucked in by their beautiful, flashy show room. Also their measuring man was way off resulting in my entire kitchen being 8 inches shorter than my original kitchen which resulted in quite a few extras to try to conceal this issue. The quality of cabinets is not good, craftsmanship is LOW and their customer service is TERRIBLE! I have a list of 13 items that are significantly impacting the appearance and functionality of my kitchen, in addition to negatively impacting my wallet. I started designing the $14K kitchen in Oct. 2021, delivered and installed Dec. 2021 (not by their installers---thank goodness!) I contacted customer service multiple times via phone and email, starting in early January 2022 and sent a detailed list of 13+ items of issue and only one item was resolved properly which was receiving a credit for a sink they never sent. Also sent 39 photos repeatedly because customer service claimed to not receive them. Some photos I'm attaching show the dent on the top right of the range, the odd gray and even light blue on what is supposed to be white cabinets, a lighter gray on my gray cabinets, soft close drawers not properly closing without a hard push and can't show it in photos but the granite installers installed my counter so it has 3/16 overhang at one end and 12/16 overhang at the other end---my carpenter said the cabinets are floating and the counter guys just needed to slightly bump out the cabinets so it would be straight and my guy never worked with WREN before and says he never will again! There are MANY facebook accounts dedicated to "WREN kitchen disasters"...check them out and choose another company!!! read more

The Showroom was an illusion. $20,000 into the project and we are devastated. We have been going back and forth for weeks/months on what can only be described as a chop job. Crews have come to our house several times to "fix" what was a disastrous installation. On more than one occasion the materials they shipped us were wrong and the installers continue to fall short of getting the job finished. The last appointment to "fix" the issues they canceled. Customer service apologizes and promises to fix it, but it never geta resolved. Today we received a letter with their revised Arbitration Procedure. I'm sure this in advance of our complaint to the Connecticut Department of Consummer Protection, BBB and the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. This experience has caused consternation and immense stress in our household. At this point I want it ripped out! read more

There is a huge disconnect between the designers, and customer service. Once you receive your cabinets, they take your money, get them delivered and find that many are the wrong size, many are damaged, you are stuck from there... Employees at the showroom will not be able to help but the number you call for support is no better! We have been in the process of returning/swapping/receiving cabinets that were broken/incorrect for months now. Our order was placed in early February... Wishing everyone luck getting ahold of a supervisor, or a supervisor that can actually fix the issue. read more

The worst service , customer service. First they had the wrong address for the delivery of the cabinets, I corrected that before delivery. The delivery was late damaged and they could not fit the refrigerator in the house so they left it in the garage telling me someone would call and set up a time to remove doors and install fridge. Well that call never came, I had to call.Then they gave wrong address for the measure of the countertop, then they gave the wrong address for the countertop install. The faucet was damaged sprayed water everywhere I emailed three times no response. They are the worst go somewhere else. read more

I purchased my kitchen in CT for my new home In NC. My salesperson was wonderful and didn't even try to change my mind about no top cabinets to up sell me. The delivery to my home in CT was simple and very masterful with packing the POD to make sure the boxes wouldn't move. I did check the delivery and found I was missing one box. I called customer service and the replacement was delivered in two days. My kitchen is now on the way to NC and I'm confident it will all be installed by my contractor. read more

Currently having a Wren kitchen installed and having the most awful experience. The installers were nice enough but the site manager was absolutely awful and rude I suspect he was also racist. I overheard a heated conversation he had with a black delivery driver where he apologised and said some people don't get my sense of humour and he proceeded to tell the driver to not be offended. Later that day, I heard him confirm the time slot the kitchen was due to be delivered the next day and he confirmed that it was between 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM the next day, my partner also messaged me to let me know that this was the time slot, but surprise surprise the site manger looked me dead in the eye when he was leaving and said you should wake up early tomorrow the delivery is from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM it was quite chilling because I knew he was lying when he told me this and he made a point of confirming this with me three times. The quality of the kitchens is great but it would be great if you could request different contractors if incidents like this occur so you don't have to essentially invite a racist person into your home each day until your kitchen is complete. I think they thought I couldn't understand them but Google translate works wonders TIP: If you have any melanin in your skin have it recording while the installers work. Update - something's twigged and their now working in silence. read more

We ordered a beautiful kitchen from Wren Milford that included a 27" wall oven microwave combo. We signed the contract and started production. When we went to confirm everything was going to be delivered. We were told the combo would not be available until at least the end of May and couldn't guarantee that. We called other appliance companies who confirmed 27" combos are back ordered with no idea when they would be in stock. Essentially we bought a kitchen that either has no built in or pay additional for. 30" cabinet. Wren refused to let us out of our contract because the (wrong size) kitchen was already made. Customer service is horrible. Manager of the store would not help us. Designer wants to quit. A complete disaster for $14k read more

There are no words for how miserable this experience has been and how glad I am that it is over. The showroom was beautiful and the designer was very helpful. That's where the good news ends. Be careful and read the fine print buried deep within your contract. NOTHING is included in the price they give you - including debris removal (this includes your old appliances, old cabinets, AND the packaging and pallets your cabinets and appliances come in and on). I elected to use their licensed installer (under separate contract), thinking there would be some benefit to this. There was not. There was absolutely NO coordination between the Wren design plans and the installer. I paid thousands of dollars more than I should have had to, to plumbers, electricians, and HVAC folks because the installers literally placed cabinets over and BLOCKED existing plumbing, lighting, and heat registers. While I was fully prepared to hire a plumber and electrician to install the appliances, I was not prepared for having to have ALL my plumbing and much of my electrical moved. Regardless of measures and surveys by both Wren and their installer, no one could bother to tell me that the design created for me entailed moving existing plumbing for the sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator; moving an existing recessed light fixture (which, by the way, they simply installed the cabinet OVER the light fixture). This is only the tip of the iceberg. The quality of the cabinets themselves is decent, (although one was damaged and was finally replaced three months later), but I would not recommend Wren to anyone. And if you do use them, be sure to hire your own contractor who will carefully review the plans and work with you to be sure that all necessary pre-work is done. read more

CURRENTLY IN A NIGHTMARE! I would not recommend buying from here. The moment I walked into their store, I had a bad experience. That should've been the moment I turned around and walked right out but the showroom made me stay. Anyways the company itself and the contractors that they use have horrible communication. I am now currently dealing with my countertops. My kitchen cabinets have been installed for 3 weeks now with NO word on my countertops from Wren Kitchen. I've called their main line many times and they keep saying they'll call me back the same day with an update on who's handling my countertops installation and they never do. I waited a week and they still gave me the same response. Their communication is horrible overall. My tenants cannot move in with an unfinished kitchen. I started this whole process in the beginning of December. I am losing money as a Landlord due to Wren Kitchen and their horrible service. read more

Reading the other reviews, I think level of satisfaction really relies heavily on the installation team. In our case, the installation team was us...and honestly, who will care more about the finished product than yourself? Not our first kitchen install and probably won't be our last, but I get that a lot of folks don't have the time or skill to DIY a kitchen demo and installation. I'm sad that others don't have the same satisfaction that we have with our Wren kitchen. We are several months in and couldn't be happier. The finish still looks new and cleans up really nicely so far. We certainly put it to the test with our cooktop being in a bank of ultra-white cabinets! Splatters of oil and sauces just wipe right off. The soft close hinge, drawer slide, and pullout hardware is all high quality and working great. Hinges are a little finicky to adjust initially, as are all euro-style hinges. But once you've conquered the learning curve, it isn't hard to figure out. We did have a couple of quality-control issues on two doors and a panel, but the issues were resolved quickly with replacements sent in just a couple of days. We chalked that up to being a new manufacturing facility and hiccups as they ramped up production. All in all, I would use Wren again in a heartbeat. read more

I wish that I had read other reviews prior to purchasing my kitchen from Wren Kitchens. While the designer was nice, he made several errors. The person (WREN employee) who came out to measure for cabinets measured WRONG and we ended up with dead space on one wall. The manager of the showroom offered to have someone pick up the debris from the old kitchen - under a 'pilot program'- in return, they would ask for an honest review of the service. Well, disposal NEVER happened- and no one could give me any answers. When cabinets were delivered, 2 were missing the holes for shelves, and 2 were wrong - and the designed left one off of the order (which I missed, so had to wait on). When the installer attempted to install the hood, he noticed that there were pieces missing - WREN was USELESS! Ultimately, I filed a complaint with the BBB. In the end, WREN reimbursed me for the incorrect/ missing items, but not before I spent countless hours on the phone with customer service trying to get the issue resolved. I certainly do NOT recommend using WREN Kitchens - unless you have LOTS and LOTS of time to spend dealing with their ineptness and uselessness. read more
