Josh and his team are the standard for automotive repair, tires, alignments and FREE FLAT REPAIRS!…read more They do free alignment checks, free brake inspections, FREE FLAT REPAIRS AND MUCH MORE. Thank you Big Brand Tire of Grass Valley for being the 1 stop shop for all automotive care.

We have been very consistent customers of the Penn Valley location and have spent thousands of…read moredollars with Big Brand, on tires, car repairs and maintenance, etc. We moved up to the Grass Valley location as it was closer to us. We purchased two new tires for our Tundra for a bit over 1000 dollars. Only the two rear tires needed to be replaced at that time. Upon replacing the new tires, they did not tighten the screws on the hub caps. We lost the first one on the way home from getting the new tires. We reported it to Josh, the manager who said he'd look for replacements. We checked in several more times with him, only to be told he couldn't find anything. He never once reached out to us, we had to initiate all follow up calls and visits. Several months later we needed the other two tires replaced, so we again, went in person to the location to schedule that appt and again inquire about the replacements. We spoke to the assistant manager as Josh was too busy scrolling on his phone to get involved in the conversation. She went out, took photos of the missing hub and promised to look for replacements for us. I finally asked if they were not able to find them, perhaps we could get the price taken off the new tires. They said that was possible. I again inquired a couple of weeks later about if they had found the hub, the assistant manager said yes, but they'd just take 30 dollars off the price of our tires. I asked why they hadn't ordered them if they had indeed found them. She said it was just easier to give us the 30 dollars. No concern that the hub cap was completely missing and looked horrible. It was apparently our problem to solve. We had much discussion about it, and I was very frustrated about the lack of concern or customer service on this. Again, no communication was inititated by them, all by us, and then we were told they found them, but wouldn't order them. We could order them if we wanted. My last conversation with Bri, the assistant manager, was that it shouldn't be my responsibility to do their follow up work, and they should be ordering these to finish the job and fix their error. She stated she didn't have a credit card and only the manager, Josh could do that. He was at lunch and she'd check with him when he returned. This has been weeks ago and I 've never heard anything back. After this conversation with her, I looked at what she said was the replacements that we could order. They were NOT the correct ones! The replacements she told us to order were for 6 lug and ours is 5 lug. This is not difficult to tell, especially if you are in the field! I called Auburn Toyota, which supposedly Josh had done, and they immediately found them, and ordered them for us. Oh, and a second one fell off after all of this, so now we are missing two! They did not tighten any of the screws and this is not a tool that we have, it's a specialty tool to tire shops. I called the corporate office and asked to speak to a DM to try to work this out. My call went un returned. This entire situation has gone on for 9 months!!!! I feel I've been more than patient waiting on them to fix their error. To say the service here was horrible, is truly an understatement. ZERO attempt to fix this seemingly EASY fix and retain a very good customer who has spent thousands of dollars with this company. I will tell everyone I get the chance to talk about this with to go elsewhere. I called Big O tires, who just opened down the street, and they are CHEAPER for tires and installation than Big Brand! In the end I learned a valuable lesson not to use Big Brand, AND I will save money going elsewhere in the future. According to the reviews, my situation is not unique with this company. BEWARE of this location!!
