What is ridiculous is that this money is more then 120 days overdue because the first bill that I got for this $8 came yesterday. That made me aggravated enough to share this review. I had had ongoing foot pains for years because I'm a nurse who spends 12 hour shifts on my feet. I went to this office first for a nail avulsion but also because I was wrapping one foot in lidocaine patches to deal with the pain. First sign of trouble...taking a picture of my feet with an iPad to provide me with orthotics. This seems to be a questionable practice because while my knee is on a rolling stool for the image to be made I'm not bearing weight on the foot. Who needs orthotics to be non-weight bearing? The orthotics eventually came and were basically mirror images of each other. This is wrong on a few levels which I will explain now. I picked up the orthotics and left with them, and at that point a reception staff tried to schedule me with a future appointment. Made some vague threat about insurance not paying if I don't return. It is my right not to return and you cannot try to scare me with that threat for future visits. X-rays were taken of my feet at one visit. Nothing found even though I was wearing pieces of lidocaine patch on my plantar foot side, my dorsal foot and along my arch. X-rays found nothing per report from staff. I will say that the nail avulsion done worked out fine. I saw this office on my way to a local academic medical facility. Once I started being treated at academic medicine my X-rays continued to show nothing but an MRI showed a whole lot. Multiple stress fractures, osteopenia, partially torn ligaments it was a disaster. Maybe I would have ended up with an MRI from this office eventually. Both my spouse and I had noticed the large lump on the dorsal aspect of my R foot. The new DPM immediately saw it, and although looking for a ganglion cyst (which was not found) did find a host of other problems. So I'm giving 2 stars for the nice avulsion, other stars are lacking due to billing and not noticing the lump on my foot that led to a MRI which showed how much trouble I was really having. Flash forward...much PT, and now being treated with IV infusions for osteopenia with unexplained fractures which equaled an osteoporosis diagnosis. The crazy part of the mirror image orthotics is that my R foot is a bit longer and definitely wider then my L foot that does not have any fractures. My R foot swells at times and I have to buy my shoes a 0.5 size larger to accommodate my R foot. The orthotics really should look quite different from each other but maybe that is just the style from this office. He said I had a bunion forming and some arthritis and to wear stability shoes and inserts. I had told him that I could not kick a soccer ball without it feeling like my foot was shattering and i was waking in the middle of the night in excruciating pain. I didnt know a lot about bunions so I thought maybe that was the problem, having not been given any other explanation. I tried for some time with exercises and toe spreaders to relieve the pain but finally went to a different podiatrist, got an MRI, and found out in addition to injured ankle ligaments, I have a Lisfranc joint injury which is causing my extreme pain. I feel like had I been listened to I may already have been treated and recovered from this but now I'm looking at 4 to 6 weeks non load bearing and pt which will hopefully resolve the situation.

It was tough to find and it sits on a corner inconspicuous. I finally found the office and parked on the street. The office is small. The doctor was pretty knowledgeable. He showed me a model of a foot and checked my issue. The doctor explained all the options to me and the reasons. I would recommend this location as a great spot for a foot issue.

The company told us that they would not make anything until they had (1) checked with our insurance to see if orthotics would be covered and (2) called to tell us how much our cost would be so we could either go forward with getting the orthotics or cancel. Someone called to tell us that insurance had approved the orthotics and we didn't need to pay, so we told them to make the orthotics. When we picked the finished product up, they said we were good to go and didn't need to pay. A month later they sent us a bill for hundreds of dollars. When we tried to resolve the problem, first we were unable to ever talk with the person in charge, despite calling multiple times and leaving multiple messages. When we finally got hold of the woman and explained what happened, she just said "well that can't have happened because that's not how we work." They also may have billed incorrectly, and the woman told us she'd look into it, and since then she has just ghosted us. The whole experience has felt like a scam to fleece elderly patients out of large amounts of money. We suggest you not bother to bring your business here unless you know insurance is not an issue and are just planning to pay full price up front.

He was the first podiatrist I've encountered who did not solve every issue with expensive orthotics. I've been seeing Mark Klein for many years for a chronic foot issue and have been very satisfied with his diagnosis and treatment.

I saw Dr. Klein last winter for some persistent leg pain caused by running. 6 months and about $600…read morein medical costs later, my condition is worse than before I saw him. Dr. Klein recommended a number of expensive treatments. Some treatments gave me significant pain and made it uncomfortable to walk and do household tasks. To Dr. Klein's credit, he did refund one pair of orthotics he prescribed, but that refund was a drop in the bucket. He prescribed expensive custom orthotics to the tune of $350 which failed to alleviate my pain. There were other failed treatments as well but you get the idea. Dr. Klein's website states he helps runners, but it's clear his focus is geriatrics. I've been to his office more than a dozen times, and I never saw a patient younger than 50. Most of his patients are old and obese, so this review will likely fall on deaf ears (literally, *wink*). My biggest complaint with Dr. Klein is his bedside manner. He dismissed some of my concerns and even disagreed that his prescriptions hurt me. At one point he charged me for an appointment that only lasted 30 seconds. I asked the front desk to waive the co-pay; they agreed and then went ahead and charged me anyway. When I finally decided enough was enough and stopped seeing Dr. Klein, he didn't follow-up with me to see why. I'm surprised that after 6 months he wouldn't recommend another specialist or at the very least wish me well. Then again, it's a fitting end to a truly frustrating experience.

Please make it easier to find caregivers! I literally have 25 people, and many are temporary people I will never see again - residents etc who should simply not be included. Be smarter about your caregiver list. Think the way your patients do. List the actual activities the caregivers DO. Not what some h&r person decided to call them. And this is my third try at getting a particular problem fixed. Sigh.

Their technology has not worked for me, ever, and I have to call and ask for supplies. I often can't call during the day. The automated telephone navigation system cannot hear me - on any of three phones I've tried. The website ordering system never sends me supplies, even if I get a confirmation email from them. The only thing that works is to call, on the phone, during their work hours, and to talk to a person. This sometimes means holding. It's frustrating. I've given them feedback many times, and nothing is done.
