I have never heated a house with propane…read morebefore so I had a lot of questions and Eastern Propane was the most welcoming on the phone taking a lot of time to answer questions that they probably get all the time. They went above and beyond to deal with a situation at our house that required the tanks to be moved and the insufficient copper runs (installed by the house flippers) to get completely replaced. They handled dealing with the town inspector and even dropped off a temporary tank to make sure we had no disruption to hot water while everything got figured out. I was very happy with how thorough they were to make sure everything was up to code and handled as "pretty" as two large tanks can be :) When I was shopping around I found that the prices at Eastern Propane were considerably cheaper than the previous chosen company the previous owner (flipper) had chosen. Akin to highway robbery if you ask me. I've met the delivery driver a few times and he also is very pleasant and welcoming. I feel like I'm in good hands and happy to be a customer!

Let me add the coldest day and day after snow storm. She called and explained she was out of propane to whom I believed was an answering service. About a half hour later she received a call back and was told they would be out and she said she had $100 cash and could you please deliver that much in propane. She was told he would come out and deliver for $390.00. ($100 for propane and an xtra $290 for coming out on Saturday). Again she is elderly and does not have that extra cash. She went without heat all weekend. When she called Monday told woman she was out and had $200 cash they immediately came right out literally at her house within a half hour. This woman froze all weekend it was literally 51 degrees in her house. Dunlap TOTALLY RIPS the elderly off and it's unbelievable that he can get away with this. Needless to say we are now looking into a new company a company that actually treats the elderly FAIR! This incident will now be passed along to friends and neighbors in this park in hopes they also make the move and don't deal with this ASSHOLE Paul Dunlap.

Truck was ready…read morewhen promised, the procedure was smooth and the ladies in the office are very friendly and easy to deal with. Just head for the side door labeled "Customer Entrance" and you'll find your way in! It's a little confusing, but someone will be out to help you. Not a huge selection of boxes and I think I scored the very last box of wrapping paper, but no worries - they called over to a U-Haul in Wareham and confirmed everything I needed. I took the insurance (it was the really rainy/tornado-warning day in July and I wanted to be covered for anything & everything) got some basic instructions on operating the truck, and they estimated an approximate total for the rental which was dependent on the final, actual mileage. When I was done, I just dropped the keys off and drove away, no problem leaving my car in the lot while I had the truck. A few days later I received an email with the final receipt (lower than the estimate, woo hoo!) and realized the most difficult thing about the whole move was trying to roll down the driver-side window - it's a manual handle in a slightly awkward position, so I was happy with the whole deal. In fact, I'm going to rent again to move some boxes into storage this summer - this was easy and cost less than I expected!!

Everything they have done to install a new setup has been substandard and on top of that, it didn't pass inspection. This company needs a top down review and should get their license suspended until they train their employees on proper procedures and codes.

The previous owners of the house were already using them for propane service, and for the past 5 years, I've been given no reason to switch to a competitor. They come regularly to deliver my propane and leave the bill, I pay the bill, world keeps on spinning. I've only called them a handful of times, but each time, I was greeted warmly; never have I encountered a rude person on the other end of the line. Today, I had a technician over to perform an A/C tune-up. Couldn't have been a nicer guy. He was polite, professional, and got the job done without incident. From what I can tell, my A/C is working great, so mission accomplished. To summarize, while others might have had a negative experience with Propane Plus, I've not once had a problem with their service or their employees. I look forward to doing business with them for many years to come!
