I now just lay in wait for the scheduled yearly delivery for my propane stove and pounce on the driver and ask him to top off my generator tank while he is here. The local driver is great and alway very accommodation and happy to do it. When I signed on It was still Kingston Propane and I spoke directly with local folks. Had I known they were going to be bought out by AmeriGas I would have gone elsewhere for sure. Also I believe that there is supposed to be some sort of tank testing at 10 years, which my tank is now. Hmmmm, I haven't heard about anyone coming to assess the tank, I guess I need to get on the phone...wish me luck.

I have never heated a house with propane…read morebefore so I had a lot of questions and Eastern Propane was the most welcoming on the phone taking a lot of time to answer questions that they probably get all the time. They went above and beyond to deal with a situation at our house that required the tanks to be moved and the insufficient copper runs (installed by the house flippers) to get completely replaced. They handled dealing with the town inspector and even dropped off a temporary tank to make sure we had no disruption to hot water while everything got figured out. I was very happy with how thorough they were to make sure everything was up to code and handled as "pretty" as two large tanks can be :) When I was shopping around I found that the prices at Eastern Propane were considerably cheaper than the previous chosen company the previous owner (flipper) had chosen. Akin to highway robbery if you ask me. I've met the delivery driver a few times and he also is very pleasant and welcoming. I feel like I'm in good hands and happy to be a customer!

Let me add the coldest day and day after snow storm. She called and explained she was out of propane to whom I believed was an answering service. About a half hour later she received a call back and was told they would be out and she said she had $100 cash and could you please deliver that much in propane. She was told he would come out and deliver for $390.00. ($100 for propane and an xtra $290 for coming out on Saturday). Again she is elderly and does not have that extra cash. She went without heat all weekend. When she called Monday told woman she was out and had $200 cash they immediately came right out literally at her house within a half hour. This woman froze all weekend it was literally 51 degrees in her house. Dunlap TOTALLY RIPS the elderly off and it's unbelievable that he can get away with this. Needless to say we are now looking into a new company a company that actually treats the elderly FAIR! This incident will now be passed along to friends and neighbors in this park in hopes they also make the move and don't deal with this ASSHOLE Paul Dunlap.

Great experience with Devaney Energy when they upgraded our oil tank recently…read more We are remodeling our basement and needed to move the oil tank while work is being done, so we decided to call Devaney to discuss what would be needed to get that job done. Stephen Smith and the team made the process very simple. We had clear communication with their technician while onsite evaluating our options to move the tank. The technician provided good information for us to consider, and in the end, it was an easy decision to upgrade our tank and protect our investment into the basement remodel. It was great to learn there was an option for zero percent financing (pending qualification) which helps, especially around the holidays! We are very happy with the job that was done, Thank you to Stephen and the folks at Devaney!

Just head for the side door labeled "Customer Entrance" and you'll find your way in! It's a little confusing, but someone will be out to help you. Not a huge selection of boxes and I think I scored the very last box of wrapping paper, but no worries - they called over to a U-Haul in Wareham and confirmed everything I needed. I took the insurance (it was the really rainy/tornado-warning day in July and I wanted to be covered for anything & everything) got some basic instructions on operating the truck, and they estimated an approximate total for the rental which was dependent on the final, actual mileage. When I was done, I just dropped the keys off and drove away, no problem leaving my car in the lot while I had the truck. A few days later I received an email with the final receipt (lower than the estimate, woo hoo!) and realized the most difficult thing about the whole move was trying to roll down the driver-side window - it's a manual handle in a slightly awkward position, so I was happy with the whole deal. In fact, I'm going to rent again to move some boxes into storage this summer - this was easy and cost less than I expected!!

Everything they have done to install a new setup has been substandard and on top of that, it didn't pass inspection. This company needs a top down review and should get their license suspended until they train their employees on proper procedures and codes.

They changed the gauge and we ran out of gas because the gauge giving incorrect reading. They added 500 gallons and the meter shows 700 or 70%. when I asked about the new life time reading I was informed that this new system did not work and they did not communicate that to us.
