This place is professional, reasonable, honest, and fair. They are a pleasure to deal with. Lowes, Home Depot, and Menards contract out...for the same price or more and same or less quality carpet. Then on top of that it can take 3 weeks for a special order carpet. And who knows who is coming to do the job. Here I found what I wanted 8lb padding with plastic guard and soft carpets you want to sleep on. It took 7 days to deliver and was put in as soon as they could. If it wasn't for the darn holiday weekend and a prior appt. I could've had it done the day after delivery. The guy who owns it, puts down your carpet. It's like he backs up what he does. I like that in a business. On a side note, this is a truly ran family business. The installer is the owner. The guy who measures is his dad. The sales person, is literally everyone's grandma. So paying them made me feel good. How's that for service. They made me feel good while parting with my hard earned money. Do not go to Floors to Go. I can't vouch for their work. But I can vouch for the way they tried to be slick about charging me more money for my carpet by over estimating square footage, charging me for every little thing (removal, hauling, moving furniture, special staircase) and refusing to itemize what I was paying for. May be its because I was a female. Did not feel comfortable with them at all.

They worked with us on determining the best product, provided a great quote, and the install had about a 60 day lead time...they are very busy! Lo-frills operation, family owned. They keep their overhead low and pass those savings on to their customers. Keeps them very busy, which means they keep full-time installers on staff; they do not use subs. Install crew arrived at 10AM and they were out the door by 4:30PM. Project was our upstairs, about 1100 sq ft, 4 bedrooms and our stairs.

Brewer did a tile job for our hall bathroom in 2022. We had the best crew. We did a brick…read morepattern on the floor and the tile lines were perfect. The grout matched perfectly and the sealant has lasted into 2025 with no issues. They also completed the project in a week. In 2024, we hired them back to fix all the issues we had with our master bathroom remodel that was done at the same time by another company. This other well-known Indianapolis company had to rip out our tile twice as they couldn't line it up, put the wrong tile in, and couldn't lay it straight. Brewer came back to reattach the corner seat that had fallen off, re-leveled the threshold as the glass door was hard to close, and redid the grout on the shower floor and all the sealant in the shower as the sealant had completely come off. In short, this man took my $2000 deposit, and over nearly two years (pre-COVID), failed to complete a single task in the contract. I asked for my money back and sent a demand letter. Dave gave excuses such as other jobs running over, personal injuries/limitations, family health issues, etc. He complained about how many times he had to come to my house to talk about the plans. While I admit that I did have an evolving vision that sometimes needed a face to face discussion, most of his trips were for his benefit, not mine (e.g., had to re-measure several times and even asked me to take measures to send). He stated that his right to keep the deposit was based on work already done. I never saw anything done. He also tried to withhold some of my items as "collateral" and in legal terms, that's called theft. I eventually had to make a trip to his workshop to pick up my property. I cannot speak to the quality of Dave's work, but I can share with you that he took advantage of someone in a state of grieving. I felt bad for each of his reasons as to why he couldn't finish the project because I was in a fragile state. In hindsight, I was manipulated. Dave may respond to this with unsubstantiated excuses. Near the end of my correspondence wit Dave, he sent me a final invoice that was $4000 over my quoted price stating that the job had caused him extra work and travel that was not anticipate. Again, I share with you that he NEVER DID ANYTHING in my house. Please choose a different carpenter to save yourself some time and money, and some very likely heartache.

Really ?? did ya think I was Tony Montana ??? cocaine stashed in the furniture ? ...anyway...called several restoration company's....who..apparently are all millionaires, lottery winners....or likely both....since no one bothered to call me back...even with several messages...helloooo ? Morons ? thousands to make !! ....except for Dave with FINIsmith... Dave came over the next day...looked at everything...made appropriate cooing noises....and said "yup...there is an app for that !" ....shocker of all shockers....he actually shot me an estimate later that day...in other words he exceeded what he said he would do...must be something wrong with him ?? The estimate was less than I expected...and..he showed up the next day to pick up the items....and....get this....ON TIME ! definitely something wrong with him....really....what contractor shows up on time ?? most have graduated summa cum laude from the Comcast school of rank non-professionalism. He is also going to build some custom cabinets to show off my beer coaster and matchbook collection. If ya need any restoration...refinishing...custom cabinets...give ol' Dave a shot at earning your business ! ....and...ladies...he is single...and a spittin' image of Ernest Borgnine !

They put down covering to protect floors, bagged up old insulation and debris and replaced insulation and vapor barrier. The materials they used appeared to be industrial quality. We've had a lot of remodelers in lately who have been careless and somewhat destructive, but not Crawlspace Doctors. They were careful and respectful. They were on time, friendly and finished the entire project in 6 hours. They asked us to inspect the work before they left and described everything that they did. I have noticed a difference in the air quality in the house almost immediately. The moisture in the basement was greatly reduced. We can breath better. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. They are great.

We worked with Cassandra to get our bathtub refinished - she was very communicative, punctual, and thorough. The whole process took a couple of hours - Cassandra gave us clear instructions when the coating would cure and that she'd come back to make sure everything was done perfectly. After a few days, she came back and touched up a couple of areas, making our bathtub perfect. Both times, Cassandra covered the whole area to protect other surfaces and cleaned up after doing her work. We couldn't be happier with the final result and how professional Cassandra was.
