If you're looking for a family owned jewelry store, this is it. Back in August I was in Shelby for…read morework, and stopped in to browse. I wasn't really looking for anything other than an excuse to get out of the heat. A young man named Josh walked over to the watch case I was perusing and offered assistance. It's been many years since I have worn a watch, I carry another device in my pocket that serves the same purpose. They sure did look shiny in the display case though. Josh offered to show me whatever caught my eye, and was very helpful in explaining the differences between the watch types. Wow, who knew that there were watches that ran off solar? Maybe everybody else, but I had no clue. After 20 minutes, I selected a fine piece of Citizen timekeeping and was on my way. Everyone in the shop was very friendly that day, as they were when I returned with my Wife yesterday. I decided to have a link removed from the band, which Josh completed for me within a minute or two. While I was speaking with Josh, Mr. Arnold showed my Wife the latest in engagement sets. We have been married for 26 years, and unless she knows something I don't, we won't be getting engaged again. Mr. Arnold was very gracious and kind, and gave me some great ideas for upcoming holiday gifts. Shelby is about 90 minutes from our home, but for service like they offer, Arnold's will get my business.

Myra and Ty were a fabulous dream team who helped to create my beautiful, custom wedding ring…read more Years ago my husband designed a ring using gems that had significant Biblical meanings, with a center diamond that would represent our marriage. We went to the store with our sketch and met with Myra. A 3D model was then made with Ty adding a suggestion for a personal engraving which we loved. A few adjustments were needed, but we finally arrived with our perfect ring and we could not be more pleased. If you are looking for a jeweler who is willing to go the extra mile, is reasonably priced, and makes customer satisfaction a priority, look no further. Go to Arnold's!

The price at first wasn't bad but then I checked for it online and it was a whopping $150 less and brand new online versus $900 at this store in Asheville. I'm visiting here for a small vacation and would've loved to take this watch with me back home but I cannot justify spending $150 more for a used watch than buying the same thing online brand new! Other than that the shop itself is very nice and their repair and service kiosk is great.

A testament of their dedication (and maybe the band quality). After having the watch a couple weeks, I accidentally shattered the crystal. So sad. I looked at a few options, but a lot of them you needed to ship in the watch and they couldn't tell you if they could even fix it before seeing it. Also, a lot of those shipping places starting at $70 anyway. It was coach. I took it to the coach shop, but they also did not fix that. With that in mind, I went back to where she had it fixed. The people working in there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They were upfront about the cost and let me know the waiting time. One of them makes their own jewelry and it's super beautiful. Luckily, the watch took less time than the maximum amount I would be waiting, but I was fine either way. They called and I went and picked it up today. The two humans were working and I can tell they truly want to help and enjoy their job. The Crystal was a bit particular but it looks just like new. The cost was $80 with tax which I found very fair as they replaced the battery as well. Wonderful establishment with great employees who are professional and approachable. Recommend it for sure.
