After nearly 2.5 months of radio silence from them, waiting on a policy after an initial consultation after speaking with their head of small businesses, I contacted them to see where we were in the process. It took a week after this to respond and they still had not secured a policy. During this time I found another insurance agent, John Bradford in Sacramento, who found our business a policy in one week. One week! Our business did not seem to be a priority for Purves which is a shame as I also use them for car insurance and those agents have been great.

They are on top of things like no other company I have done business with. Currently, collectively, my family is insuring 6 cars with Aumen, 1 house, and 3 renter's policies. Unfortunately my daughter had a fire at her apartment a few years back that was a total loss, and someone was there immediately to write her a check for a place to sleep. They then followed up, stayed on top of things, and she was able to start over. My husband was rear ended and the driver tried to claim that he was at fault?? I know, crazy. Dan was on it. He assisted my husband to get the whole mess taken care of and stayed on top of things until it was resolved. I am, like most people, very busy. I am confident that when I call Dan's office and drop business in his lap, it is taken care of, and I have one less thing to take care of.
