Originating from Taiwan, this bubble tea shop is a must-try. I am a huge fan of their Osmanthus Oolong Tea with Mango. It tastes crisp and refreshing and does not taste syrupy at all. Another amazing drink is the Cassia Black Tea with Mousse. The tea itself tastes robust and slightly malty, while the mousse adds a silky and creamy texture that enhances the drink. My husband especially likes the drinks from the Lemon Condensed Milk series. Each cup is freshly brewed to order and has a strong tea base, which is exactly how I like it. This particular location only has one ordering kiosk and only a couple of small tables. It is definitely more of a grab-and-go type of place. The premium tea taste and tea quality here are consistent with other locations I've been to. I like that we can see into the kitchen and watch the drinks being made. If there is a wait, it is all worth it!

Green Tea with Boba and High Mountain Pouchong Tea

I stopped by Chicha San Chen after hearing about its award-winning reputation, but unfortunately, the experience fell well short of the hype. The shop itself was clean and filled with a pleasant tea aroma that created a welcoming first impression. Service was average, with nothing particularly memorable about the visit. Considering the relatively small size of the drinks, paying over $8 per drink felt difficult to justify. **Green Tea with Boba: 2.5/5** For a tea shop renowned for its freshly brewed-to-order teas, this drink was surprisingly lackluster. It tasted noticeably watered down and had very little of the fresh, fragrant jasmine tea flavor I was expecting. The chewy boba was the highlight, offering a pleasant texture with just the right amount of sweetness, but it couldn't salvage an otherwise disappointing drink. **High Mountain Pouchong Tea: 1/5** This drink was an even bigger letdown. Like the green tea, it tasted diluted and lacked the floral depth and complexity that a high mountain pouchong tea should offer. An unusually artificial, creamy, sweet aftertaste also lingered after each sip, further detracting from the overall flavor. Overall, the drinks lacked the bold, distinctive tea flavor I'd expect from an award-winning tea house. Considering the premium prices and relatively small drink sizes, the quality ultimately didn't justify the cost. There are simply too many better bubble tea shops at this price point, and I don't see myself returning.

Minimalist interior with about 3-4 tables to dine in! Love how they have a rotating seasonal menu. The pineapple milk tea was great and not too sweet (even without adjusting sweetness). Can't wait to come back and try more teas

Absolutely love the tea flavors at CHICHA San Chen! You can smell the tea fragrance and taste the specific flavors listed in the drink descriptions. The boba texture is also quite nice - balanced and chewy, with the sweetness coming through. I stuck to the popular drinks this time and they definitely exceeded expectations. If you're a passion fruit fan, their version is a must order. Service was fast and friendly. There is also a kiosk ordering option that is helpful. Look forward to visiting again!

2/10 Got the fruit tea. Honestly tea was pretty good and refreshing, BUT they have BIGGER PROBLEMS... (SEE ATTACHED PICTURE)

Finally got to try it! No line when I got in but I guess the customers before me ordered a lot because I had to wait 18 minutes just for my 1 drink. You can tell that they take the time to brew the tea and make it as people order. I'm surprised that it cost a lot though, paid $9.50 for a regular milk tea with boba. Yes, it tastes good but not that good that I'll be going back.

Cassia Black Tea with Honey ($7.25) and Lemon Condensed Milk ($7.75). 2/21/2026

I have mixed feelings about CHICHA San Chen. On the one hand, their drinks are good, but I feel that they are way overpriced. My order this time was Cassia Black Tea with Honey ($7.25) and Lemon Condensed Milk ($7.75). These are regular sizes and not even large. For $7, I expect at least a larger size for how basic these drinks are. Even though they taste good, I don't think it's worth it. I am taking into consideration that prices everywhere have gone up, but CHICHA has always been pricey even before the price hike and I am hesitant to return due to the cost. One thing I'll say is that this Rowland Heights location was not busy when I went, so at least I didn't have to wait and pay so much for their drinks.

First time trying this place as I have heard their tea are superb. Ordered one of their popular drink- passion fruit high mountain pouchong tea as I love the flavor of pouchong tea. Kind of disappointed that I don't taste too much of the tea flavor but mostly passion fruit. I guess don't trust other's opinions too much until you tried it yourself. Overall, nice drink but falls a bit short of my expectation.

I've only been to this location once. It was a poor experience. Several people who ordered after me got their drinks before I did. I ordered a basic boba milk tea. So there wasn't any excuse about it being delayed due to a specialty drink that takes more time to make. I saw the other people after me also ordered boba milk tea. I asked the staff about my order they were in the midsts of making it. Great I was about to get my order.. spoke too soon. The person who put on the lid spilled my drink so they had to remake it. I thought it would be first in the queue but nope they side lined my cup and started making other people's orders. Eventually my cup was ready then the staff who put the string holder on it decided to take my cup for a spin around the kitchen swinging it walking around and talking to their coworkers. I was mortified. I won't return to this location. This would never happen at the San Gabriel location.

Came back to try their bubble milk tea. I have to say it was a solid milk tea and the boba was warm, sweet, and chewy. For over $8 a drink, youre paying for made to order drinks and quality. I have yet to order something I don't like, but I dont think that will happen. Definitely a great choice for tea and boba!

Love the customer service and the Black Tea with Cream. The flavor is on the spot every single time I purchase their drink. Highly recommend the Black Tea with Cream or just their original bubble milk tea

The tea is exquisite, and the service is on par. The waiter is very knowledgeable about the different tea types, and shows us the individual tea's scent as he explains. My order: High Mountain Pouchong Tea + Organic Milk + Bubble (light sugar, hot): After setting the drink aside for a while, the tea's sweet, refreshing fragrance sinks into the drink. It was light sugar, but the sweetness of the tea/milk made the drink sweeter than expected. Dong Ding Oolong tea + Organic milk + Bubble (light sugar, less ice): Heavy smokey aroma with a light bitterness from the tea. The inside is spacious with very limited seating (2 tables, 4 chairs). The drink is great, the price is on the higher end for the cup size.

Among the availability of amazing boba shops that have served the 626 area for so long, it's hard to still create novel beverages, but this Taiwan chain is welcome to be doing just that! All over the shop they have multiple accolades praising their various teas. From my understanding they use a kind of "teapresso" setup to create a strong, yet smooth tea that makes its presence known in any drink you order. I also love the customizability of the drinks, from different toppings and the different teas that they brew. Their tapioca is cooked perfectly, just the right amount of chew and a little sweet. They also have samples sometimes which is great. A little on the pricier side I will say, but every once in a while a nice treat to have.

I would've liked a stronger tea flavor, but considering the price point, not bad. The mini boba wasn't my favorite, but if you plan on adding it, I'd recommend asking for light boba unless you're a serious boba lover. My partner's drink was probably close to 40% boba, which was a little much for our taste. Just know this is strictly a grab-and-go kind of place. There aren't any indoor tables, although plenty of people were hanging out with their drinks outside. Likely would come back to try their other drinks!

The presentation of their fresh milk mochi (鲜奶麻薯) bowls and dip-and-stretch mochi desserts is undeniable--it makes for great photos, and the shop itself is super bright and clean. The stretchy texture of the milk mochi base was fun and delightfully soft, and components like the taro paste and purple rice had a nice, subtle sweetness. However, for the price point, the execution fell a little short. Some of the toppings felt under-prepared; the taro balls lacked that fresh, springy chewy elasticity you want in a shaved ice/mochi bowl, and the coconut jelly base tasted slightly watered down instead of rich. Logistics wise, the service was quite slow even though the store wasn't very busy, and parking in this Labin Court plaza can be a complete nightmare during peak evening hours. It's a solid place to stop by once for the aesthetic and novelty, but given the steep competition for Asian desserts in Rowland, it doesn't quite hit top-tier status for me.

Their menu includes various selection of creamy milk tea, pure milk tea, Lelecha signatures, fresh and fruity drinks, pastries and cakes. I ordered through Uber Eats the following drinks: - Iced Mango Sago Pomelo 5/5 It was creamy, rich, velvety and refreshing.Every sip was explosion of all flavors in my mouth. - Mango Coconut Bliss 5/5 Tropical ripe and creamy mango in a drink, of course it was such a beautiful drink. - 2 Butter Caramel Egg Custard Tart 5/5 The crust was buttery and flaky. The custard was creamy, rich and had the perfect sweetness. It was huge. I could not eat it in one time. They came with gloves too, which was a nice gesture. Honestly, It was the best I had tried recently. I wish I could order more of this decadent tarts. - Green Book 5/5 Green tea cake with very fluffy and delicate layers. It was exceptional. - Chocolate Dirty Egg Tart 5/5 Flaky chocolate pastry filled with custard. It was perfectly delicious. Definitely, I recommend Lelecha. What a place! Everything we tried was uniquely delicious and flavorful.

5 stars for their "butter caramel tart" ($5.5), which is essentially a gigantic [easily 2 or 3x the…read moresize of a] Chinese "dan tat" or egg custard in a light, buttery, flaky crust that's better than what you'd get at a French pastry shop. The smooth, light, melt-in-your-mouth custard is nice and thick, so the ratio of custard to crust is like 15:1 (how it should be, in my opinion!). Pictures do it no justice--you absolutely have to try it. I tried it the next morning after refrigeration and microwaving for 22sec, and it was so delicious, I finished the entire piece! And now I'm super full. But it was worth it. They also have a chocolate version that I was considering, but opted to go with their most popular, which is yummy enough to go out of your way for. Also tried their floral quartet oolong milk tea with boba. Tea was ok but boba was lackluster, a bit too stretchy and not sweet enough. That custard pastry though, easily brings this spot up to 5 stars. Small shop just to place your order at the counter and leave with goodies. Cute bread themed interior: baguette door handles, a variety of bread squishies for the kiddos to play with while you order, and a large rolling pin light fixture above you. Do yourself and your friends and family a favor and bring home at least a few of the butter caramel tarts. They're each nicely packaged in a windowed bag with branded sticker, so they're easy to gift. And each one comes with a packaged glove with which to enjoy your treat and not have to wash your hands.

But I think I prefer their teas. I like that the specialty ones include toppings already. Mulberry was a bit too sweet for me even though I got zero sugar. I prefer their roasted barley iced tea with osmanthus jelly. Drinks can be easily close to $10. Service is great! Queues can be long. Parking is easy. Bathroom available. Credit card/tap is accepted with no surcharge. I like to stop by when I'm in the area.

The drink is super smooth and creamy with really strong jasmine and oolong flavors. And the brown sugar mochi jelly??? Boba WHO? It's soft, chewy, and honestly so much better than boba. The best part is that you can even save your drink for the next day and the mochi jelly stays soft instead of getting hard like boba does. I cannot recommend this specific order enough. There's a reason Torotea has expanded so much! I'm not the biggest fan of the Diamond Bar location purely because of the line, so I'd recommend trying one of their other locations if you don't want to wait as long. You can also order online on weekdays to avoid the line, but there is a small online fee. Also shoutout to whoever designed their shops because they absolutely killed the boho vibes. Super cute inside and the perfect place to wait for your drink. There isn't much of a seating area to chat given the line and large volume of traffic. Overall, as I can't emphasize any further, JASMINE OOLING WITH MOCHI JELLY.
