My rings (wedding band and ring) wouldn't come off and it's beyond the point where Windex and lotions would be of any help. Fred's across the street said they don't cut rings off finger due to fear of liability issues and to either go to the local hospital or fire department but the drawback is they can possibly ruin your ring and could cost an arm or a leg if you go to the ER. My online research and advice from a friend is to try an independent jeweler. Wyatt's was closed on Monday but we were so grateful when I called Tuesday morning, Dean immediately said yes cheerfully. What's nice is they didn't charge a dime. Naturally, we are having them resize after my finger heal up in 3-4 weeks. This is a nerve wracking experience and owner Jim did such a great job removing the ring without ruining it. They have special tools (hand held device with a circular blade) to do the job right without the risk of harming your finger or create a painful experience. They took the time to be cautious to preserve your ring and finger. The whole crew there was so friendly and kind they basically saved my poor finger I let it go for too long. I also appreciate their being super professional. Will definitely have them resize my ring and take my future business there. Very caring and this family business has been around since I was a kid. First of all, I have to say some of the best service I have had in a while. I was looking for a certain brand of watch and saw that they were a dealer. I was dropping a package off at UPS next door, and even though they were closed on Mondays, I thought I would swing by just to see if I could see if they had the watch I was looking for through the window. While I was at the front door they opened up and and I explained what I was looking for, they brought me in and let me look through their watches. I don't want to be that person that leaves a bad review for a local business but I have never had an experience like this in my entire life and feel the need to share it. I would NEVER recommend Wyatt's Diamond Jewelers in Monroe for anything watch related, I cannot say anything about the jewelry side as we've never used them for that. They have had my husbands watch for almost 2 years! Yes you read that right TWO YEARS! My husband's watch (that he got from his father for his 21st birthday and is valued at over $2000), had stopped working, we had sent it to the repair that does warranty work on this brand of watches and they couldn't figure out what the issue was. Someone we know recommended Wyatt's to check it out and see what the issue was. Multiple months pass, no communication we call, leave a message, call leave another message. They finally call back and say their watch guy is still looking at it. Again this goes on we check in with them they never, ever, tried to communicate with us and update us, it was always us calling and asking for an update and they would always have an excuse. He hasn't gotten to it, or we don't know.... We were VERY patient. They told us their watch guy was having a family problem and would be back in a few weeks. We check in again, nothing. Finally after a year and a half of the back and forth excuses and nonsense we asked for the watch back. Well now they have no idea where it is and don't think the problem was looked at yet..... they lost it.... We told them they would have to replace said watch or give us credit. They agreed. Miraculously a few hours later, they've found the watch and know what's wrong with it. Its with another company elsewhere and they want to charge $900 to fix it. We said no, we would like it back now, money is tight and we can't afford to fix it, had this been a year and a half ago we probably could've. During this phone call, the owner decided 3 times to answer his own personal phone and have conversations, didn't say hold on, didn't put us on hold, just talked on his other phone while we can hear the whole conversation. He was absolutely rude, and doesn't believe they did anything wrong or could've done anything different.... Now, it's been 3 weeks since this conversation, we told them to get the watch back to us. I came in for an estimate on getting a ring repaired (new half shank and mounting) on a wedding ring. Spoiler alert: we did not end up getting my ring repaired here! RUN to LAKE STEVENS JEWELERS instead. Lake Stevens has better service, and better prices : ) I dropped the ring off on Jan 19 - and I hadn't even heard anything from them for 7 full days!! I called on Jan 26 to request my estimate and I and was told that someone would call me back? I received a phone call 30 mins later saying they were very busy and backed up and they didn't have the estimate done yet??? 7 days? The quote was in-line with Fred Meyer Jewelers pricing... Their service was very lacking. We came in to pick up the ring and to discuss the estimate on Jan 28 - a guy came out barefoot and handed the ring over along with an estimate in an envelope. No thank you, no greeting, no looking the customer in the eyes. Wyatt's needs to remember they have a lot of local competition and often a repair job ($375 estimate from them) is a great way to earn a relationship with a customer who will come back and tell their friends. The exact same situation if happening to us regarding our two high end watches. Its been two years, excuses and more excuses, still no watch. What is going on here? I really think that 2 years is adequate time enough to either fix a watch or tell the customer it is not fixable. I was wondering if we were the only ones having issues with this place, apparently we are not alone in our quest to get our watches back. We keep being told excuse after excuse, with zero result. Best Customer Service for Jewelry story ever! On Black Friday, I bought a smart watch Moto 360 from Best Buy. It's a very expensive watch with pebble steel band. Therefore, in order to adjust any part of this watch, the jeweler needs to be extremely careful so they don't mess up the electronic stuff inside my watch. The only thing I needed to do for my watch is to resize the band my shortened it. Sound simple right??? That's what you think!! At first, I went to Fred Meyer's Jewelry store to ask them to adjust my band. They said it was going to be easy and gonna charge me only $10. Yes, it did sound simple at first. They took my watch to try to take off 1 pebble. And guess what?? It failed! they used hammer and stuff that I was like.. "Dam... be careful with my expensive stuff..." I don't know. At first, I trusted them. They ended up with a fail and ruined 2 pieces of metal pieces... I was so disappointed and they told me to go to the store in Lynnwood. I looked up in google and found Wyatt's. I just walked in randomly and wanted to give this place a try. I believe the owner/worker there named Dean and Jim, but I don't know which one is which. They took care of me very well, very polite and asked about the information of the watch first before they did anything to it. Right of the bat, they could tell right away that someone else had already tried to adjust the band size for me because the freaking metal pieces got messed up.. Those 2 pieces that got messed up gave Wyatt's extra works to fix! The guy was complaining about how unprofessional the Fred Meyer's was the whole time. I agreed. They messed up my watch and they just acted like they didn't care. Wyatt's people took about 15-20 minutes to took off 2 pebbles out of my band, which ended up fitting me perfectly. I was so happy with their service. I tried to tip them but they didn't want any so I figure giving them amazing review would be the best thing I can do. They're very amazing and very loyal to customers. Next time, if I ever want to adjust anything about my watch, I will totally go back to Wyatt's and never again give the Fred Meyer anymore chance. The same people there have helped me for years and I have lived in the Sky Valley over 16 years. I really do not know why I ever go anywhere else. There is a jewelery store in the local Fred Meyer and while I love Fred Meyer the Jewelery store is terrible. I have gone there for convenience while shopping and they are never helpful. Wyatt's in Monroe is the best. They're family owned, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My favorite watch was purchased here. They have expertly repaired several items of jewelry for me. Recently I took in a silver plated bracelet with a Celtic design that my mother-in-law had purchased for me in Ireland. I loved it and so I wore it all the time. After a couple of years the plating wore away on the back. I asked them if they could custom make the bracelet in solid silver. Today I picked up my custom bracelet. poor service two faced sales tactics. Told one thing, and they lied to my face. seems like they FIVE stars are either blind or in my thoughts just shills for the owners. I noticed they we all walking in bare feet...and not pretty feet at all. why would you do that in a commercial place of business? I went in, and had a desire to look at some pieces found the selection very limited. When I asked about their watches, I was told they we "Swiss made". It turned out, SOME of the watch parts were Swiss, and they get assembled some where else.....seems like a LIE to me to claim they were SWISS WATCHES. I would be careful with these guys... read more

This place is the worst! They are super nice and talkative from the beginning, say all the right things but once you spend your money all bets are off. There was signs from the beginning and I should have noticed them, like their lack of notes, you talk to someone different and they have no idea what is going on, their lack of follow up, say they will call you tomorrow and they never do, it takes a call to them to get a response. My first transaction with them was a wedding band 7 years ago, all was good until we picked up the band and it was sized a full size and a half too big. They excuse was "maybe you ate a bunch of pizza the day we sized you", really?! so they tried to get us to pay for the resizing that we fought, especially since the ring we bought was $2800, a men's ring mind you. They eventually did the resizing for free but we had to pay to have the engraving done again, this was not our fault but theirs but they would not budge and we wanted our ring that they held hostage. Fast forward to 2016 a full 7 years later and my ring has broken! Bad craftsmanship, against my best judgment I bring it back to them and they say yeah we can fix it but it will cost you and let us take it to see what it will cost "we will call you tomorrow". Here we go again, well tomorrow comes and goes so I call the following day and I get someone new who has no idea what the ring is there for, its in two pieces, should be obvious. So I explain the situation again and they say ok I will call you tomorrow, well several days go by and I call again, this time I get someone you says well the goldsmith is at a gem show and is gone all week, I know nothing so I will have him call you when he gets back. A week goes by and I finally get a voicemail saying we can do "this option", not what we talk about at all, so I drive in there to pick up my ring. Well when I get there, I'm told " your ring is not here, you will have to come back next week, its at the shop" So now we are into this ordeal for a month almost. Finally I was able to pick up my ring and end the nightmare. I still need to get it fixed but I will not give this shop anymore $. Please whatever you do, don't shop here, there are way better deals, warranties and people elsewhere. You will end of pulling your hair out here. read more

I have stopped in here a few times, the first time they disparaged my Costco diamond, the second time I got a few links taken out of my watch and the third time was to get my watch band fixed. While trying to find out how much it would cost to get it repaired I was informed my watch was a "piece of junk and something they would never carry" I never asked what they thought of my watch only how much it would cost to repair it. I do not believe good customer service involves telling customers their belongings/jewelry is substandard. I would not go there unless you enjoy being insulted and treated like dirt. read more

I dropped a necklace off on the 12th of Jan., all I wanted was three letters engraved on the back of a disk. The man that helped me said it would take a couple days, four at the most. He said that the cost was three dollars per letter. After two weeks passed and I had not heard from them, I called to inquire about my necklace. They said that it was at the engravers and would be back the next day. They said they would call me when it got there. Again I got no call, so I called them once more. The man I talked to said that it was in, so I went to pick it up. When I got there, expecting to pay ten to twelve dollars, I was told that the bill was 65 dollars, but that it had been reduced to 42 dollars plus tax, coming to 45.78 . When I said that I was told that it would be 3 dollars a letter, he said that there was a 35 dollar set up fee, I was never told about any set up fee. He then said he would take 40 dollars!! I will never shop there again, and I am telling everyone I know about this!!!!! read more
