Back in 2021, my husband bought my engagement ring and had an appraisal done . Fast forward to 2025, and my ring unfortunately went missing. She kindly provided a new appraisal right away, and when the insurance company rejected it, she went the extra mile to get me a detailed estimate for a replacement--even though it was time-consuming and totally outside of her obligation. I had an incredible experience here! I went in to get my engagement ring sized down. It needed to be sized down from a 7 1/4 to a 5 1/2 and it was very reasonably priced and they my ring back to me the next day. Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and warm and made me feel taken care of. Additionally, they did an amazing job on my ring. My ring was in need of recents ring the main stone and they retipped the ring. I had 6 pave stones missing and found out the ring needed to be re-rounded (all new terms for me) due to wearing during crafting/working out. We thought the repairs would take longer but they were done in a week and the work was more affordable than other jewelers had quoted. I am thrilled with the appearance of the ring. I don't give out 5 star reviews often but J Lewis deserves it! We have been in multiple times for various reasons, resizing, cleaning and having a custom wedding band made to match the very uniquely shaped engagement ring for my wife. We mostly worked with Jill but all the staff is super helpful, pleasant and great to deal with. Prices are also very reasonable compared to some of the other big and not so big name jewelers around. We were extremely impressed with the price quoted for the custom wedding band. We received quotes that were 1.5x more with much longer lead times. They do work in house which is great! I can't recommend J Lewis enough and have already referred family and friends to them. read more

UPDATE Changed to two stars since I picked up my jewelry and they gave me my money back for the repair. It was the right thing to do and I appreciate that. I took in two items for repair in late April. One item was easily repaired quickly, the other item needed a special laser weld. I paid up front for the repairs. The first time I went to pick the bracelet up for repair, the person had repaired the link but left the bracelt in two! Why J. Lewis didn't check the work, I don't know... So back it went. The second time, he put the bracelet together incorrectly, it was very obvious when I saw it. They said they would expedite another repair but another week has gone by. I am having to call them, they aren't contacting me to let me know what's up. I am disappointed in this service. read more

My girlfriend and I (now fiancée) had been ring shopping at several different stores, both chains and independent jewelers, for a couple of months before we took our friends recommendation and visited "Jill's". So I brought in my engagement ring to a place out of state to get it resized and returned to WA thinking it still didn't fit quite right. After reading the reviews here, my fiance and I brought it to J Lewis and co to check it out. It turns out, the first place not only got the size wrong, but left a mark on the solder line! Thankfully, everyone at J Lewis knew what they were doing - the girl at the desk even knew it had been resized previously before I said anything. Not only did they make the ring the right size, they fixed the solder line, refinished it, and made sure all the diamonds in the band were in place. Everyone was super helpful, and they even gave us free jewelry cleaner (no, we didn't buy the ring there) AND polished a ring I had on at no charge since I asked if they knew how to get a tarnish on it out. It also only took a day! Everything in their display case looked gorgeous as well... I know where we'll be getting our wedding bands!!! read more

Hi Jill, I wanted to post about our experience with J.Lewis Jewelry, because my fiance Kelsey Aho and I both agree, that our experience was totally worth sharing! At the beginning, I was very nervous! My dad passed down my late mother's wedding ring, which was passed down to her from my dad's grandmother. My dad told me to do what I want with the ring, as far as altering or redesigning something that Kelsey would like. Because Kelsey had told me in the past that she wanted a white gold or sterling silver wedding ring, but my mom's ring was yellow gold. I knew there was going to be some major altercations. You made it so easy on us by explaining, what our options were, showing/explaining the different styles, and fitting us for the right size. We had a very difficult time deciding which ring Kelsey liked most. You told us, "You will know when you find 'the ring' because you will not want to take it off." You did not pressure us or try to "sell us" a ring, that we were not 100% happy with. Your patience payed off, because we found "the ring!" Kelsey is in love with the ring we picked, and after transferring the diamond from my mom's ring, to the new ring, we still to this day, talk about how lucky we are, to have been patient and wait for "the one!" You were so helpful, when it came to making a decision on what would be the most affordable for us. As well as options for my wedding ring, with the remaining parts of my mom's ring. In the end, you made the insurance decision, simple, completed the adjustments ahead of schedule, and made this whole experience so easy on us! We couldn't be happier!
