    a wooden wine bottle

We came here for the first time today, even though it's a local vineyard we had passed many times. We shared a sweet flight, (they also have a dry flight) and shared a wine slushie. Today's slushie flavor was Strawberry Pina Colada which is totally me, and it did not disappoint, it was delicious! We enjoyed all of the wines in the flight, which were Diego Red, Riesling, White Sangria, Concord and Blackberry. Their bottles are reasonable priced and is a definite stop for future bottle purchases, slushies and tastings. For a snack, we purchased pita chips and a locally made cheese spread, Carmelized Onion and Asiago Cheese. The spread is made by Boldface, in Newtown, along with other spreads and soups, which are sold in local markets and farmer's markets. The cheese was delicious in flavor and made from natural ingredients. There was outdoor entertainment (a gentleman singing and playing guitar) and lawn furniture and tables for guests.

Such a great learning experience coming from a girl like me whose not a big alcohol person! I really enjoyed myself all while learning about wines. So I came to Buckingham Valley winery with a small group of girls and we had a blast. It was funny cause in the beginning we were all kinda quiet and after drinking a sample of two or three or four you get a little comfortable and start talking and talking and yep talking some more lol! So the staff was fabolous, I was the only one that got carded yep and I'm in my thirties so wow what a compliment. They did a great job with explaining the process. They have three selections of wines to try which are red, white and sweet. I realized I'm more of a sweet wine kinda girl. My favorites of them all was the diego red in the red wine category. Niagara and Riesling in the white wines and blackberry and Holiday Spice in the sweet wines. Overall it's self tasting and the wines were all on chill. We sampled over 15 different flavored wines for 5.00 and we all got to tour the vineyards and go home with our complimentary wine glass. Thanks Buckingham Valley for a wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

On a Saturday afternoon, stopped in at this winery. Live music playing outside and people sitting -- enjoying their wine. We came in as a group of five and the staff placed our $5 miniature wine glasses (which you can keep) on the counter quickly to show us how to pour the wines. He explained that the wines ranged from dry to sweet. Pretty much after that, you're on your own and can taste multiple different wines yourself. Also, they have a sheet to rate the wines. One of the pros to coming here is that you can try a lot of their wines. Personally, I did not like most of the wines. Some of the testers I felt did not necessarily have refined taste. What literally put a bad taste in my mouth is that a male staff was pretty rude to one of us. One of the wine bottles that was poured -- came out into the glass that was "more than a taste". The staff took the glass out of hand, proceeded to toss it out (wine and miniature glass), and handed the right amount of wine. Are you serious? What a waste. Not okay. Would not have the desire to visit this winery in the future.

Folksie band was super fun and did a great job

Got the sweet wine flight.... And the frozen strawberry lemonade. The wine was pretty good some just had a less than pleasant after taste. Niagara wine was the best, red sangria and Concordia are close second. The strawberry lemonade was yuck... a perfume taste. The area is very pretty and they had enjoyable folk style band that bumped the experience up a star. Look forward to coming back and doing a more thorough tasting of the wines...

Buckingham Valley Vineyards is another beautifully laid out small acreage winery specializing is the sweeter vintages of fruit and grape based fermentations. Like some of the others in the area it is second generation family run operation with the love and care given the vines obvious to any who stop in for a self guided tour and the tasting available throughout the year. Although I prefer drier wines, I have sampled the bottles and casks here and found them to be pretty good, but not what I want to purchase for personal consumption. Still, a relaxing afternoon overlooking the long rows of arbors sipping peach and blackberry wines and heavier port like sipping liqueurs has a very mellowing effect on the soul. Well worth a stop on the Bucks County winery tour.

Wasn't impressed with this tasting. Nice to pour your own tastings but the gentleman working the bar had no personality. It was the most boring winery I have ever visited. Not planning a return trip. They did have a couple good wines but it is a combination of wines, atmosphere and employees to truly make a good impression.

This is one of my favorite wineries I've visited in the past few years for the simple fact that you pour your own tastes!!!! How easy is that!? How great is that?!?! :) The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, even on a cold, rainy, and dreary day that we visited... The wines are what you would expect for the region inclusive of prices that one would expect for the region as well. I will definitely return upon my next visit! Ample seating outside with some fun separate areas with statues and garden objects; you'll have to come and visit to see what I mean! THIS has been a review by Gaurav

CAn you bring a snack and have picnic there while listening to music and drinking wine?

Yes you can! The Saturday I was there, they had a musician singing and playing his guitar. He was pretty good. They have a large lawn and also have picnic style tables to sit at under a canopy.

We stopped by on a saturday and it was completely different and seems to have set up a restaurant in the old tasting room. It looked very good. Warm woods and natural beams. This was the last positive thing in our visit. A sign said to wait to be seated so we did. I looked around the menu seemed limited to different types of sandwiches but ok, nice snack for a late afternoon. Looked for be around $15 so normal price range. We were still waiting to beseated. There wasn't much in the way of business. maybe two people seated at the bar and two-three others at tables. Still, nobody greeted us or even so much as a 'be with you in a moment.' Kept looking around, no sign of wines made in the winery. not sure if it's still running or if it's been turned into an event venue but we were giving it every chance. The place has only limited hours to be open. It showed a limited menu and there was no way the place could have been called busy. For all the attentiveness of the staff, we didn't exist and with no one by the door I'm not sure what someone could have walked off with. Heck maybe there was a server there and she got stolen. In the end we left. Our last visit had been disappointing, but we were willing to give them another try. Against all odds this 2nd try was even more disappointing. It has limited hours and even then, the staff still can't be bothered to even say 'hello.' ave your time and give your money to a place that actually wants to greet it's customers

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff behind the bar (wish I knew her name). The customer service is impeccable! The staff was very friendly, and attentive! She was very knowledgeable about the wines and gave us a little history about the tasting. We chose to do two tastings (you can choose 6 wines) so we intentionally chose different wines so that we could broaden our horizon. The wines were great. All tasty however, some did not sit well with my pallet. I really like that they offer oyster crackers to eat while you are tasting the wine to clean you pallet prior to the next tasting. I wish some other wineries would do that. If your pallet is clear prior to tasting different wines you will really be able to identify all of the notes of the different wines. The ambiance was nice as always. Tomasello Winery in Lambertville, NJ is a small quaint tasting room in the middle of old town Lambertville. There isn't much room however, the small space offers a more intimate tasting experience. Overall, it was a great experience. I especially enjoyed all of their ciders particularly the apple cider and watermelon cider. I was able to take some bottles home as well. I thought it was really nice and sweet for the lady to hold our bottles while we went shopping in the town so that we would not have to carry our bottles from store to store. They were heavy bottles so that would have been impossible and not enjoyable. We had a great time and we will be back soon! Please check out Tomasello Winery if you are in the Lambertville area. You will not regret it. Cheers!

We were a group of 30 African American professional women who had called ahead to reserve space for a private outing. From the moment we arrived, the man at the counter made it clear that we were not welcome. He was dismissive, made rude remarks, and refused to serve us. His assistant joined in with comments that were discriminatory and inappropriate -- one remark being, "We only serve small parties of billionaires." It was obvious they did not want our business. As we decided to leave, staff followed us out to ensure we exited the property, which only confirmed the disrespect and bias we felt. This experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering that our group had come ready to support a local business in good faith. This is a well thought out operation. We had a group of 5.
