She advised when placing her order that the flowers need to be blues and whites, as her late husbands wishes. They sent cream and lavender, highlighted with greenery. This arrangement arrived the morning of the event, so my mother called the store to see what can be done and spoke with a clerk who actually had the nerve to argue with her ! Instead of saying "how can we fix this" she offered no solutions. My mother called me in tears! We had to drive to Safeway to search for an arraingment just before guest were to arrive. Will never engage with this company again. We get better service at Costco.

TLDR: Failed to follow one of my only floral requests, inexperienced staff, lack of empathy upon…read moremaking mistakes I was really excited to book with Awesome Blossom. My initial consultation with Bridget made me feel excited and that I was going to get something really customized to my vision - unfortunately my florals absolutely fell flat on meeting expectations. There were two big requests when it came to my flowers: silver dollar eucalyptus and no baby's breath. I had a minimal bridal order with a waterfall bouquet, 7 boutonnières, 4 corsages, a sweetheart table piece, and florals for my cake for just under $1000. Leading up to the wedding, there were a number of communication mistakes: sending me the wrong person's proposal, sending me a "please review us" email before my event, and a miscalculation of my total leading to an overpayment that I ended up using to "upgrade" my bridal bouquet. They sent me a "recipe" to look over a couple month's before my event. I was going for a green and white theme - heavy on the greens - specifically silver dollar eucalyptus and potentially thistle and no baby's breath. Other than those things - I was open. The recipe sent to me had baby's breath so I pointed this out and agreed to wax flower as an alternative. Leading up to the event - I was asked to fill out an event form. I filled out the form which included when I wanted things dropped off and didn't get a confirmation. I followed up with a timeline and confirmed the drop off date. The day of - the flowers were dropped off early which normally would be great except that it was before my day of coordinator had arrived. When I got there - the first thing that I see is the mother's corsages- babys breath everything. I see my bouquet - the entire cascade is baby's breath. I pick it up and the single piece of silver dollar eucalyptus in the bouquet falls out. I walk over to my reception site, my flowers falling out everywhere, to see my sweetheart table - babys breath and the boutonnières - baby's breath, the florals for the cake - baby's breath. After seeing that every single piece of florals had baby's breath and my bouquet falling apart - we called. A staff member promptly arrived with a new bouquet. She claimed multiple times that this was an "upgraded" bouquet even though it was not the cascade I had requested because "no one in today knows how to make one". I cannot overstate how disappointed I was in my wedding florals. Following my event, I reached out to Bridget to set up a time to talk about what happened. She wouldn't give me a time to chat - just called on an agreed upon date. When I talked on the phone to Bridget - she lacked empathy for what had happened. She acknowledged that I had put those requests in writing but only offered me a refund for my bouquet- about a third of the cost of my overall floral package. When I received the check in the mail - it came in a blank card. No sorry about what happened, no I hope you can trust again in the future, again just a total lack of empathy for how their failure to pay attention to detail affected my wedding day. I ended up forgoing floral preservation because of the negative feelings attached to my floral arrangement which is incredibly sad to me. Truly - the most disappointing experience for a vendor I was initially excited about. I would not recommend Awesome Blossom for any floral arrangements you care about.

Our flowers were astonishingly gorgeous. Sharon and her team do amazing work and know their stuff…read morein and out. I have bridesmaids who are passionate about floral arrangements (I know very little about it) and they were blown away and called them best flowers they have ever seen at a wedding. Everyone who saw the flowers raved about them, and they truly made a huge impact at our wedding. I was converted from being skeptical about why you should spend so much of your budget on flowers, to being completely converted. Sharon executed on our vision and color scheme perfectly when she just had a few Pinterest photos and vague ideas from us to go off of. The only minor caveat about working with Sharon is that she didn't always respond with the professionalism that we expected. Unfortunately one of the boutonnieres we ordered wasn't included on the day of, so my husband's step-dad had to go without. Sharon tried to tell us that it was our fault and the order was wrong, even though the order clearly stated the correct number. It wasn't a big deal, but her response was a little frustrating. This wasn't the only case where we left a conversation with Sharon feeling a bit stressed out by her tone and the way she handled the situation - although for every one of those, there was a conversation where Sharon was very nice and went out of her way to put us at ease. I get the sense that (like many artists) she is particular and takes great pride in her work, and as a result can get a bit flustered during the busy wedding season. In the end, none of it was a big deal or even enough to make me change a 5-star rating. The flowers were insanely gorgeous. Sharon really believes in delivering a great product, and on top of that she was so kind to accommodate us reusing the floral arrangements for our brunch! I would still book Sharon again knowing what I know now, and just understand that despite the minor communication hiccups (probably my own personality is a factor as well!) the end result is completely, absolutely worth it!

I've learned to trust experts for a reason! Sharon was very communicative and was able to help guide me. She was also direct about what would work and wouldn't work - which I really appreciate! The end result was stunning. My bridal bouquet was more than I could have ever asked for and she did such an incredible job on the bridesmaid bouquets too. In fact, all of the flowers were thoughtfully chosen and designed. We were thrilled and received so many compliments! My husband made succulent centerpieces for the tables and Sharon's flowers complimented them perfectly. I highly recommend Blake's!
