Told her we had very small living room. She replied we don't have small sectionals. I did not get her name but was happy we were going to shop on our own without her around us. After about 20-30 min of browsing the living room furniture Eric Mastern asked if he could help us. He immediately showed us where the smaller sectionals are. We found two and then were back and forth on which one. We finally decided. He was patient, knowledgeable and professional. Made me give 5 stars because of him on my review. If he had not found us, my rating would have been 2. The store is very nice and good prices with sales. He also informed us of renting a pick up truck right there so we could bring it home ourselves. Going down the aisles I could see that they were still stocking things and there would be more to come, but there was enough to keep me interested and scouring the aisles for what I wanted this shopping trip. The aisles were clean and clear, and the employees were nice whether they were in the store on the floor or at the cash register, which made the experience very pleasant. It's always so tempting with all of the ghouls and goblins and skeletons and pumpkins galore. Today I left with some cobwebs for my fireplace mantle for only $2.99 wow! What a deal!! We ended up leaving with a mantle decoration, but they already had everything from the giant skeletons and yard decorations to a few inflatables and plenty of indoor décor. The store was clean, easy to walk through, and the cashier was nice and friendly, which made for a pleasant checkout. Their prices are kind of a mixed bag. About half the time you find something and think, "That's a really good price," and the other half you're thinking it's a little more expensive than you expected. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because it seems like a lot of their larger decorations end up with some kind of damage. If you're buying one of the bigger items, it's worth taking a few minutes to dig through the stock and find the one in the best condition. Other than that, it's a fun place to browse, especially if you're ready to start decorating for Halloween way too early like we are.

I had recently ordered a Svante media stand and it came damaged - with two big cracks in the bottom…read moreboard. To get the media stand exchanged, I have to first work with their 3rd party vendor and based on the vendor's assessment the next steps will be decided. Basically, they are leaving me (the customer) in limbo. Though I had ordered the media stand from their Mesa store, I had to go all the way up to their warehouse in Phoenix (an hour's drive from my home) to pick up the media stand. They surely know how to make things more difficult for their customers! A 'good' store would make things easier and not difficult for the customer. Also, a month ago, I had ordered a Quintin nightstand online, paid for it and everything. A week later, I get a call from them saying that they are out of the nightstands! Overall, I am really disappointed with their customer service. Damaged furniture out-of-the-box is another big concern. No more shopping at Scandinavian Designs for me!! Future customers: Do check your furniture thoroughly for any damage prior to pick up and/or after delivery!!

I bought a gorgeous, very tall, handpainted, blue and white, Swedish style secretary. It is absolutely stunning, and I just love it. It had to be delivered because of the size of the piece, and the delivery service is provided by a third-party and the price is very reasonable. Very, very happy with my treasure, and my overall experience.
